"Make you Choice daughter of Wisdom" Eros, the god of love said with a smile "You don't have much time."
She looked down in the direction of Tartarus a lone tear escaped her eyes she closed her eyes, took a deep breath and replied-"Mighty Eros I have made my choice, I choose Eternal Pain for myself Rey must  Stay!"
Rey pulled her towards himself and gripped her shoulders -"No Tani you are not doing this, there is no way I am going to part with you again NEVER EVER" he spoke looking directly in her eyes more silent tears made their way through her eyes but she wiped them and gave a determined reply-"it has to be my decision my Lord and I have made my choice Let him go please" she pleaded to Eros
"No way you are doing this Tani I will never support your decision it is our challenge my lord it should incorporate both of us" Rey protested
"Silence" Eros snapped "the decision should be mutual, it should be your selection Daughter of Wisdom but your boyfriend must agree to it, Soon Tartarus will unwrap, whatever you do make a quick decision "
"I am  going down and that's final do you get it?" Rey ordered looking straight in her eyes but even his anger couldn't hide his love for her and the pain and misery he was going through. As soon as he gazed into those hazel brown orbs his anger faded, He knew she was going through the same pain and for the first time he saw misery in those eyes. They had been through alot together , fighting monsters Giants and even Gods themselves but those eyes scintillated with nothing but confidence, joy, pride and love, but today it was different he could feel her agony through her eyes, her body was shivering  and she was afraid, afraid of losing him and although he understood the reason behind every word she had uttered every decision she had made he couldn't support her , he simply cupped her face and continued "You mean more to me than my own life Tani, If I really have to choose between loving you and breathing , Dying for you and Living without You, Between Heaven and Tartarus ,between You and Me, I will chose You, I will use my last breath to Say I love you ,don't do this to me Tani I won't survive without You , You are the Reason I live For, Please Don't leave me Tani please" and he broke down. Tani listened to him seemingly numb but somewhere still alive and when Rey looked at her condition his heart ached, He felt his own pain falling short infront of hers he felt miserable.

He slowly extended his shivering hands and took in hers, she looked at him and nothing mattered anymore she was mesmerized by those chocolate-brown orbs again and all her pain and fear disappeared, the sheer feeling of being together was enough to soothe their senses and together they slipped into the memoirs of their past.


The day we met
Frozen, I held my breath
Right from the start
I knew that I found a home for my
Heart beats fast
Colors and promises...

She remembered the first day they met she was enrolled in his college clandestinely meant to find him and be his protector but honestly she was all nervous and worried, concealing her fear, motivating herself and lost in her thoughts she ran into him and ended up in his arms that was the first time she was captivated by those chocolate-brown orbs unaware of the fact that they were preordained to hold her image in them forever..

All of my doubt suddenly goes away somehow..

True.. she was unaware of the fact that he was the demigod she was searching for and same person she had already fallen for..but her heart was sentient of the fact that he was the person it was craving to be with, the person who was meant to complete her ,he was the person who was made for her...and she was meant to be his and only his...and fighting for him in the basket ball court when the whole team was against him, blindly blaming him to be traitor...well that was something she couldn't help...

he thanked her and being the daughter of Athena it wasn't hard for her to vindicate his honor , that was when they became friends and the first time they spent some time together..a cherishable memory indeed..

Although their days in college were not very smooth and they were attacked by furies monsters and even by their own teachers and classmates, they were definitely beautiful and unforgettable. They had  alot of disturbing fights and  arguments and misunderstanding  but their love for eachother survived them all and they ended up loving eachother even more . In the beginning they both denied their love for eachother but after they reached CampHalfblood after they began their quests after they started their quest after they started being just themselves.., they both were sure that they were madly in love and were meant to be together...

Time stands still

Rey recalled the first time he met the real Tani the one who isn't really a tomboy, the one who is not always making plans and the one who actually becomes nervous in trying new things, it was the Prom Night. They were good friends and all thanks to Tani the whole college knew that but he knew there was much more to it because he used to feel his heart skip a beat whenever she came close to him and that day was one of the most special memories of their togetherness..he was awestruck when he saw her entering the ball room..dressed in a simple yet very elegant blue gown smiling nervously at him...

"Hello..Tani" someone pulled her inside the activity room , she frowned and tried to free herself from his grip but in vain
"who are you..Shivam? Leave me alone" she struggled and blinked her eyes
"Stop trying its useless ..you are not in a condition to help yourself " he smirked
Tani tried to think but her head felt very heavy, she couldn't focus on anything neither her thoughts nor her strength and forget about running, she couldn't even walk properly someone had tricked into drinking alcohol
"What.. do.. you... want?" she tried to concentrate but couldn't
"I want you Darling" he leaned down to kiss her shoulders
"Not ...so easy" she resisted somehow recalling her training at camp half-blood and  prayed to her mother to defend her honor, suddenly her ears caught a familiar voice chanting her name ,it was Rey but before she could reply Shivam put his palms on his mouth. Rey was not far , "10 more steps and he will be infront of the corridor, I have do something quickly" Tani thought and rolled her eyes in the dark, "something proximate and loud" she told herself and bingo just a few meters away she found a small drum "I have to wait she forced herself to focus 5..4..3..2 she extended her legs but before she could hit it Shivam hit her -"Trying to be smart haan?"he whispered in anger he strengthened his grip on her waist, Tani winced in pain but the saddest part was she could hear Rey's footsteps retreating a lone tear escaped her eyes, Shivam smirked-"aww..such a pity Your last hope is also dead, Now even Rey won't be able to help you...You are all alone"
"She  is never alone never was and never will be" Rey replied with a smile putting his hand on Shivam's hand and slowly pulled them off Tani, she looked at him with a slight smile and blacked-out the last thing she saw was a splash of water drowning Shivam while Rey scooped her up in his arms and left the room..

Tani  slowly opened her eyes her head was still spinning "Rey" she called "I am here" he took her hand in his "where are we..?what's the time? aahhh..are you ok?" she said holding her head "I am fine..it's 11.. we are in your room..I was so worried about you..how are you feeling now..?" he took her face in his palm  " As long as you are with me..I will be ok" Tani replied with a smile looking at his anxious face "Really?" his lips curved into a beautiful smile "I ..I mean..I am fine" Tani tried to change the topic-"Where is Shivam? what just happened?" Rey looked away still disturbed "I don't know about Shivam..Probably still in the activity room drowning" but don't worry now he forced a smile and kissed her forehead and cupped her face" Everything is fine now!" Tani smiled "I hope so..Are you staying with me..?" "Yes..I can't afford to leave you alone and as long as your rommie isn't back...I'll have to bear you.." he shrugged and laughed expecting a debating Tani but she just smiled lost in her own thoughts because she now knew how much he cared for her and as long as he was with her she had nothing to be worried about...

"You are behaving like an idiot Tani...You are not a stupid girl..are you?" she questioned herself standing infront of the mirror " But I am a girl..I have done many stupid things..!Ahh..chuck it.." she sighed "Calm down Tani...it's just a date and Rey will be here soon..You don't want to look stupid infront of him..do you?" " no.. right...take a deep breath.." she closed her eyes took a deep breath and smiled just when she felt a firm grip around her waist he kept his chin on her shoulders and asked-"You ready or you want to discuss something more with my beautiful girlfriend?" she opened her eyes and turned with a confident smile putting her arms around his neck-"absolutely ready"

They were enjoying their time at the beach walking hand in hand just when Tani stopped Rey turned and saw her lost in her thoughts he cupped her face and asked "you ok?" "Aahh...yeaah...I just wanted to talk to you...umm about something..."  Tani looked away "hmmm.." Rey smiled "we can't hold these things by ourselves anymore now..we have to get back" Tani looked at him and sighed, Rey asked her all confused-"what?.. where?" "CampHalfblood the place where people of our kind are kept safe and trained to survive" she turned around "Tani..I am really not getting you" he asked facing her "Rey do you understand why you and only you are able to breathe underwater, why are u able to summon waves, why do you love beaches and oceans and ponds and seas...it's not like normal mortals Rey we are half bloods, children of a God and a Mortal" she tried to explain him "And you" she said cupping his face "I figured out are probably the Son of Poseidon, the Sea God, You are in danger Rey the mortal world is not safe for you..The only place safe is Camp Half-blood I am the Daughter of Athena, Goddess of Wisdom, I was enrolled to find you and Protect You but I ended up falling for you Rey..I almost forgot my mission and the fact that we are not simply normal mortals...until yesterday when we were attacked by Our Maths teacher You might start hating me... But I can't put you in Danger Rey.." she turned around and tried not to face him..
"I Don't know what this place CampHalfblood is? I don't know whether or not I am the son of a God..I even don't know what do you exactly mean by being in Danger..But I know that I can't hate you..I don't understand this feeling but you have become my habit Tani..You mean alot to me...And Wherever you want I'll go with you..but there is one small problem" he looked down with a sigh "What?" Tani asked smiling through her tears.."I need to Ask and Inform mom" he laughed "Now come-on this was supposed to a date" he pecked her lips and took her boat-riding

All the reminiscences of their past filled their mind each and every moment staring from the day they became friends till the time their destiny tore them apart... Tani couldn't forget those 5 long years which she spent without him, searching for him day and night, hiding her bruised heart from everyone, fighting the world all alone with just one hope that kept her going his love for her...and that day when she finally found him, she was shattered to know he remembered nothing of  their past...but she didn't give-up, her love for him didn't let her and Finally when she got him back all to herself, Finally when he regained his memory Destiny brought them here..
Tani for the first time felt that she had no more strength left in her to fight, she was left with no more courage to make anymore sacrifices, She couldn't afford live without him again...And Tartarus seemed way better to her than living a life without him...

One step closer...

Rey on the other was also not ready to sacrifice his love on any cost. He perfectly understood her condition and knew that She would never agree to be without him again...He took a deep breath locked his fingers with hers and made his mind...

The Crack in the earth widened..And the depth of  Tartarus became visible Rey smiled and Spoke-"Mighty Eros we have made our decision.." Tani looked at him all confused "We are going in Together.." he looked at her apprehensively but she smiled and nodded in assurance and they started  proceeding towards Tartarus "Together?" The God seemed startled "But that's not possible that's against Rules..."

And all along I believed I would find you

Rey smiled and stopped "Rules?" he chuckled and looked at Eros with amusement "Of all the Gods being the God of Love  I thought you would know this Lord Eros.." he looked at Tani and then continued without looking back "That love make its own Rules...It is not bound to anything.." and saying this they jumped into Tartarus together hand in hand..without any fear without any regrets...because they were finally together...
