Chapter 1

Prologue

"Thanks... Aapne mujhe itni izzat di" Swayam replied quietly. He then rushed out of the projector room, shocked and hurt.

Taani felt very bad and regretted her outburst on Swayam. She looked at him and tried to apologize but by then Swayam had already left the room. For one moment, there was total silence, and then Rey spoke

Rey: Wow!! That was unbelievable!! Tumne Swayam ko sirf ek ACS samjha. How could you even forget that Swayam tumhara pehle bhai hai fir is college ka ACS. Tumhara koi haq nahi banta ki tum use aise treat karo.

Taani looked at Rey in an angry manner. He was only looking at the fact that Swayam had been hurt because of her behaviour. He did not even bother to find out the cause of her unhappiness.

Taani: Aapko bhi yehi lagta hai ki galti sirf meri hai.

Rey: Tumhare behaviour ko dekhkar to yehi lag raha hai.

Taani was hurt. This was definitely not the answer she was expecting. The gang was anyways not supporting her, and now even Swayam was not there. She thought that Rey will be on her side. She began to feel very helpless. Tears started to form, but she did not want to show anyone that she was affected. She took her bag and left the room too, crying silently.
