*the lights went off*

It was completely dark. Only noises could be heard which reduced as the duration of darkness of increased. Saakshi got pushed and by mistake came in the centre of the room where Karan and his family were there. She couldn't see anyone but could feel people present around her.

She could sense his presence. The darkness seemed to uncover their passion for each other.

She closed her eyes. She thought of the moments with him.

Arjun gazed at a faint figure standing infront of him motionless. Saakshi breathed heavily. She tried getting out of this place but she was clueless due to the darkness. She turned around.

Arjun saw that it was a girl and she was facing him,but her face was hidden in the darkness.

Saakshi could feel some intense eyes locked at her.

She moved forward. Her heartbeat rate increased. Arjun too moved forward. They were facing each other.

Saakshi turned around to leave when Arjun caught her hand. She looked back.

*lights on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*

STOP.SILENCE.

They stared dumbstruck at each other. They were in the middle of the hall with the silver chandelier showering its light on these two. everyone looked at them in awe. Anu smiled with tears in her eyes. Karan stood beside Anu clueless.

Arjun wanted to come forward but he got reminded what happened that day years ago,he stopped. Saakshi's eyes wellep up. She shut her eyes when he stopped.

He left her hand looking at her and turned around to go while the crowd mae a path for him to go out. They were confused.

Saakshi looked at him going. Even after meeting after so many years he had left her again. She felt betrayed. She was angry,she was devastated.she couldn't take it anymore.

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath and she ran outside to see his car zooming out of the Palace Hotel. He saw her standing in the portico from his side mirror. A tear drop fell from his eye.

Saakshi sat on the steps.

Arjun drove as fast as he could and banged into a tree purposedly. It was an isolated place.

He got out and broke his car glass in frustration.

"why do you do this to me!??!!?!?" he shouted.

Looks like he was speaking to God again.

"first roshni and now her!" "what do u freaking want!?!?"

"why did u make me fall for her when u knew we weren't supposed to be together?" he screamed and hit his fist on the car front. His palm cracked and blood oozed out.

He hit it again,he kept hitting until there was a big deep wound in his hand and his car front red in colour.

Saakshi walked in the hotel as she in no way wanted to spoil her Best Friend's sangeet because of her.

Anu rushed to her.

"are u alright?" she asked.

Saakshi faked a smile.

"saakshi beta ? tum teek tho ho?kya tum ghar jaana chaahthi ho?" anu's mom asked her hugging her.

"nahin aunty main teek hoon! Main ghar kyun jaun?? Meri anu ki sangeet hain! Main nahin nachoongi tho aur kaun naachega yahan pe??" she said laughing.

Everyone knew she was faking it. they felt bad for her. Anu's mother looked dearly at saakshi.

"u don't have to do this..go home its fine with me" anu said.

"shut up!" saakshi said and laughed.

She was crying inside.

Arjun's uncle asked his bodyguard "Arjun kahan hain?"

"sir he's gone out somewhere"

"what do freaking mean by he's gone out somewhere??? Oh God!"

"get the hell out and search for him! Now!" arjun's uncle ordered.

They bodyguard informed everyone via wireless to assemble outside and get 3 cars ready.

The sangeet started. Saakshi danced and danced! She danced with everyone. Anu was feeling so broken inside. She knew saakshi was doing it for her.

Saakshi controlled everything inside and danced out her heart!

Finally Sangeet got over at 3:00 a.m. and everyone headed home tired.

Saakshi went in her room and entered the bathroom and closed it and cried!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She cried so much. She collapsed on the floor.

Her face was pink. The fact that he left her again reluctantly killed her more.

She had to face his rejection every time!

Arjun here was standing infront of a blue lake at night. He hadn't moved from that time. He was just staring.

He took out his phone and dialled a number.

Here a man was sitting with his 2-year-old daughter trying to feed her when his phone rang.

he reached out to his phone and looked at the screen. his senses stopped working.

"rawte?" he said shocked.
