One Week Later.

Mitesh walks into the canteen.

Mitesh: Yo Anurag, you know the Principle kid, Vicky.

Anurag: yeah but I haven't seen him yet. He's only here for a month, I get around him soon.

Mitesh: well then you should see him quick cause he spending bad news about you.

Anurag: what bad news?

Pritem runs into the canteen.

Pritem: (worried) Yo Anurag the new kid, Vicky, is spending bad news about you.

Anurag: (mad) what bad news?

Pritem: he's opening up your old files.

Anurag: (very mad) wait he can't those file are confidential. Only I and the principle are suppose to know about those files. (Standing about to walk towards the door) He's going to get it from me.

Mitesh: (holding him back) Yo chill, he's the principle kid.

Anurag: So!

Pritem: remember one more fight could get you kicked out.

Anurag: (pulling back his chair, hard. Sitting down) that lucky bas***d.

Anurag takes out his earphones and starts to play drums with two pencils against the table. Priya, Manisha, and Arjun come back with soda and chips. Arjun taps on Manisha and points to Anurag. Then he sits down.

Manisha: (talking to Mitesh) why is he mad?

Priya: he's mad! That's an odd way of showing it. (Sitting down)

Manisha: (sitting down) that's his thing. Whenever he gets mad, he listens to music and begins to play drums on the table.

Mitesh: he's mad cause you know his old files the new kid Vicky is sharing them with everyone in the whole school.

Priya: (confused) old files.

Manisha: It contains all the fights, argument, problems; he had before coming to this school, even a murder case. That were only the board, the principle (pauses) actually everyone that is suppose to be involved expect for the students here. But now Vicky is spreading the news around. And yet again the students are going to ignore or bash on him like the time when he fought with a teacher here.

Priya: what teacher?

Pritem: see it like this that me and Anurag would go everywhere together. So when he was kicked out of the other school, we went to; me and Juhi also dropped out and came to this school along with Anurag. But the first month, Anurag got into a fight with one of the teacher. They both were bleeding a lot as they sat in the principle office. The teacher was fired because he the one who started it. But Anurag got a second chance cause of his mother. But if he was to get into a fight again he would be kicked out again.

Priya: (looking over to Anurag, worried) and the murder case?

Pritem: That was nothing; it was a being in the wrong place at the wrong time, type of thing. It happened about a couple of months before we came to this school. Anurag was drunk that night and he was walking past a park, when a guy runs into him. [I'm going to begin writing as if it is happening right at the moment]

Guy# 2: (bumps into Anurag) Sorry

Anurag: (intoxicated, turning to the direction the guy ran out of) It's ok

[Pritem] Anurag begins to walk into the park. He then trips onto the dead body and his shirt gets covered with blood. I guess while he was getting up he might have pressed his hands against the dead body; which got his hand all bloody. When Anurag realized he fell on top of a dead body he called the cops.

Anurag: Hello Police Station. I would like to report a dead body… Hillside Park.

[Pritem] Anurag tried to walk away when he realized that he was covered with blood.

Anurag: (looking from his hand to his shirt) Blood!?! (Looks over to the dead body) The cops see me like this; they might think I killed him.

[Pritem] Anurag walks away but the cop caught him before he left the park. They arrested him and took him down to the Police station. The guys who die was a guy at school, he almost started a fight with. Anurag told him before he left was that he wasn't going to leave him. So they used that against him in court. However, by the lab reports and the time, he left the club; he couldn't have done the murder. Cause there was only a minute from the club to the park. He couldn't have killed him, took the loot and stashed It., because they couldn't find any of the guy's things on Anurag or around the park and had the chance to run in about 5 minutes, while he was drunk. [Back to the present]

Pritem: So they let him go.

Vicky: (talking from behind Mitesh) you accept people to (Mitesh moves to the side) believe that. He's a cold-hearted murder (he sits in front of Anurag, Pull Anurag earphone of and stops his drumming) Aren't you.

Anurag: (mad) what the hell do you think you're doing and who the hell are you?

Vicky: Sorry for not introducing myself. I'm Vicky (Anurag jumps up and grabs Vicky collar) Na Na I wouldn't do that if I were you, remember one more fight could get you (taking Anurag hands off) kicked out.

Anurag gets mad and kicks the wall.

Manisha: Why are you doing this? What are you getting out of this?

Vicky: Nothing Honey. (Pritem starts to get mad. Manisha turns her head) I heard Anurag was the big man on campus. I just wanted to know how big he was. But unfortunately all the students here didn't know that the big man on campus did such low down things, like murder. I-

Anurag: (mad, bangs on the table) I didn't kill him. (Everyone in the canteen, turns and looks at Anurag) What? (Everyone goes back to what they were doing. Anurag get a little calm) I didn't kill him.

Vicky: (getting off the chair) yeah whatever

Jyoti comes in with a flyer.

Jyoti: (giving the flyer to Anurag) yo Anurag there's a race next week and if you win, you might just get enough money for that new bike (looks over at Vicky) He is?

Vicky: (putting his hand around Jyoti) Oh sorry baby I'm Vicky-

Mitesh: (taking Vicky's hand off Jyoti, mad) don't you dare touch her.

Jyoti heart starts to beat as Mitesh moves her away from Vicky and right next to him.

Vicky: so all the girls are taken, except for Ms. Innocent over there. (Pointing to Manisha)

Manisha moves to the side, Priya is standing behind her.

Arjun: K

Anurag: (cutting him off) don't you even think about it. Priya is mi (about to say mine but stops)

Vicky: (thinking) oh so he has a sweet spot for her, this will be fun.

Anurag: Don't you mess with any one here Record or not, I wouldn't even think twice before beating the hell out of you.

Vicky: Well (taking the flyer from Anurag hands) you like racing too. Why don't we do this, if you win the race, I'll tell everyone I lied and I made up the file. But if you lose everyone will continue to think that you're a murderer. Also I get a kiss from your girlfriend in front of everyone.

The guys move about to hit Vicky. But the girls hold them back.

Anurag: (being held back by Jyoti) Are you f***en crazy?

Vicky: Yo man there's ladies here.

Everyone pauses

Manisha: take it

Everyone get shocked.

Anurag: Tum be kya paagal hogi ho.

Manisha: look I have enough trust in you. You're good at driving bikes. No one has betted you yet. By the way he'll tell everyone he lied, what else you want.

Vicky: Listen to her, she might be right.

Manisha: would you plz shut up.

Everyone except Anurag, Manisha, Pritem, and Vicky almost laugh.

Anurag: Fine

Vicky: ok you and me in the race course one week from now (getting up) I'll be waiting for that kiss, baby.

Manisha: get lost!

Vicky leaves.

Jyoti: what was that?

Pritem: That idiot was spreading rumors about Anurag.

Jyoti: Oh so he was the one. I heard he's quite a bas***d. Well like me some people don't care.

Mitesh: wait if some people don't care then what's the point of the race.

Anurag: I'm going no matter, what happen. Cause at least I could shut his mouth after betting him in the race. I started fresh, I had started a new life, but after this.

Priya: Nothing has changed yet. Everyone thinks that it just a rumor. If you win-

Anurag: what if I don't

Manisha: you will.

Jyoti: look some people think it just a rumor, he's spreading. There are some people who don't care, if you just don't pick on them. On the other hand for the people who do care, what could they do? So you have nothing to worry about.

Pritem, Mitesh, and Arjun: Listen to them.

Anurag: All right

After a few minutes.

Manisha: oh yeah did I tell you, Priya gave me such a great idea for my parents anniversary. We sing and dance to different songs.

Arjun: but what if you don't know how to sing.

Priya: the song will be playing in the back. While you're dancing so it looks real. Also if you want you could sing along with it.

Manisha: oh yeah no suit. Only a traditional Indian dress.

Pritem: No

Anurag: that's not fair. I'm wearing a suit.

Manisha: no your not, we going to go shopping tomorrow, maybe today. Hey Jyoti when should we pick you up from your house to go shopping.

Jyoti: I can't come; I have to help my mom with something.

Manisha: oh that's sad it would have been more fun with you.

Anurag takes out his wallet and begins counting his money.

Jyoti: why are you counting your money?

Anurag: I'm counting how much money Manisha going to make me spend. (Stops counting) Ha! 300 less from last time.

Manisha: Don't worry you dad promised me he'll give me as much money as I need.

Anurag: well that out of his account

Manisha: actually no it's out of yours. I'm going to withdraw 5,000 today.

Anurag: I'm not even allowed to withdrawn a penny and you're withdrawing 5,000. (Acting sweet. Holding Manisha hand) Hey bolo na kya jadoo kiya mere papa par that he's letting you take out 5,000 from my account.

Manisha: (putting her other hand on Anurag's hand) There's no magic. Your father knows I'm responsible and he think of me as his own kid.

Anurag: (moves his hand away) so you won't tell me

Manisha: no

Anurag: fine

Manisha: fine

Anurag: fine

Later on when the bell rings. Mitesh stays back to tie his shoe Jyoti stays with him.

Jyoti: Say you love me.

Mitesh: (getting up) Sorry I don't lie.

Jyoti: (walking along with him) then why were you the first one to take Vicky's hand off me when he had his hand around me. You didn't say anything when he was talking about Manisha and Priya.

Mitesh: that was (pauses) causes (pauses) causes

Jyoti: causes you love me.

Mitesh: Please I would rather make you my sister. (Mitesh leaves)

Jyoti: (stays back) oh so that how it is fine, let's see if you will.
