Part 6

Everyone goes home after the dance function. The next day, Arnav and his friends go to the Golden Gate. Aditya gets suspicious. He called Khushi and said, "Arnav is taking you for a ride. He accepted you not because he loves you but because he wants to prove to his friends that he is an expert in impressing the girls."

Khushi: Stop making fun. Are you doing this for Lavanya?

Aditya: Whatever you want to think about me, you can imagine. Lavanya told me what he had confessed to her. As a friend, I have to caution you. Come to the Golden Gate at 4 pm if you don't believe it.

At 4 pm

Arnav and his friends gather.

Arnav: I have now shown you how to woo a girl in your life. The first step is to find out her weakness. It is the best friend of a girl who becomes her weakness. So, I purposely gave more attention to her so Khushi would feel the pinch. One day, she got so annoyed that she confronted Lavanya, which forced her to leave the college.

Khushi overhears the conversation.

She enters the room with a burka and claps sarcastically.

Khushi: Thank you for everything, Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada. Thank you for opening my eyes. I thought that you had immediately accepted my love for you. For you, I had gone to the extent of insulting Lavanya, and this is what you gave me. I hate you for that and will never forgive you. The day you experience the same pain, you will start hating yourself. Goodbye.

Khushi leaves sobbing.

Arnav becomes dull. Khushi's words start haunting him.

He goes near her gate and waits for her, but Khushi does not look at him.

The next day, everyone goes to college. Arnav sees Khushi and runs towards her.

Arnav: Khushi, I have been waiting for you outside the gate, but you didn't respond.

Khushi: Don't talk to me.

Arnav: I am very sorry for what I have done. I indeed had a bet with my friends without realizing my love for you. I am ashamed and hate myself for it, but I love you very much.

Khushi: Now, it is useless to talk about these things. You are wasting your time as well as mine.

Arnav: I should waste a few minutes for you instead of wasting my entire life. I am incomplete without you & no one can take your place.

Khushi: If you don't want to marry, don't marry. You don't mean anything to me now.

Arnav: Then, why did you destroy my friendship with Lavanya? You cannot betray me.

Khushi: I wouldn't have left you if it was not for the stupid bet. You have played with my emotions.

Arnav: Please forgive me & show me the same crazy love for me; otherwise, I will burn myself.

Khushi: You do whatever you want.

She goes forward.

Arnav: I am counting three. If you don't come, I will burn myself.

Khushi: Even if you count up to 1000, it won't make any difference to me.

Khushi proceeds

Arnav: One

Khushi does not respond.

Arnav: I have the lighter and the kerosene.

Khushi: I don't care.

Arnav: Two

Khushi does not care.

Arnav: Three

He puts the kerosene and throws the lights on fire.

His friends see the spreading of the fire.

Lavanya comes to Khushi.

She said, "Arnav has changed a lot. He is not like before. Only you can stop him from hurting himself.

Khushi sees this and comes running to Arnav.

She said, "Have you gone mad? Come out of the fire."

Arnav: First, you tell me that I love you.

Khushi: Stop this madness.

The fire blazes.

Khushi: Arnav, I love you.

She jumps into the fire with the sand, extinguishing the fire.

Arnav: Promise me that you will never leave me.

Khushi: I will never leave you.

Both hug each other.
