Part - 4

 

After Angad left everyone is still talking about Angad and his launch in India...

Naina is so excited and she wants the best launch for her son...

After all it's his dream and they are here to make his dream come true...

He has had a positive response so far and is not used to failure after those initial hic cups before he got the first offer,though Dilip helped in financing most of it's shoot, Angad has rather had a smooth ride, though it's not like instant hit he has been progressing slowly and steadily...

This is the next big step in his career and his language is a problem for him now, he is not use to many of the words that iyricists use and has to get to know the meanings for him to get the feel of the songs...

Luckily this time around Surya is doing the writing and he knows what's best for Angad...he'll keep it simple...

Dilip has contacted Anu Malik to do the music...and the response is positive...

They should finalize the deal today...

Surya is also accompanying Naina and Dilip as the writer...

The elders leave and Gayathri takes Kripa along with Dadi to the temple...

Kripa is still awe struck after meeting Angad in person, though she had a not so gud boy image even before she came here, Naina's comments turned it into a bad boy image now...

And his attitude this morning didn't help much, he didn't get the elder's blessings or not even bothered to give them respect, he took them for granted, that's what Kripa thinks...

And this so called Rock star had time for his so called GIRL friends but not enough time for them, maybe Kripa yearned to know him more subconsciously or maybe it's her curiousty to find out who this Angad really is, is he a flirt as Naina aunty said, is he a real Rock Star? And what about Angad, the man...what's hidden behind all that hype, behind that Rock Star image?

She is actually eager to meet only that Angad, the real Angad and not the Rock Star, the Angad that her father loves so much, that Angad who used to be her childhood mate though she had only heard from her parents about it as she doesn't remember anything...then too he was naughty and selfish, he wants everything for himself, go getter, he had to get anything he wished for and he'll not give up until he gets what he wants...

His parents pampered him fulfilling all his wishes and yielding to all his demands form his childhood and they have given up their own life and done so much for him...

Does he even know how much they have sacrificed for him?

Dilip had risked everything when he went to UK and luckily he managed to settle down pretty soon but Surya had been his back bone, he is there for Dilip whenever he is in need...

Now Dilip wants to return the favors and he also has plans for that...

Angad has also worked hard to get to this position and he is ready to give his best for he believes that it's his music that makes everyone around him happy including his family...he also loves his work and worships it...'

But poor Kripa has seen only one side of Angad...

She believes that he has got all he wanted b'coz of his parent's hard work and he is not even bothered about anyone except for himself, he missed the flight for his GFs, his family had to bear the loss, they had to wait for him before they could start the launch preparations, and that way Kripa had to stay back longer than expected...all b'coz of this Angad...

And she hates the way he looked at her and well what was he about to do? Ohh come on, I'm not one of those losers, your so called GF's, I'm Kripa Sharma, Suryavan Sharma ki beti, and her father has instilled all the values in her but this Angad doesn't know anything about values and morals, all he values is his Rock Star image...she hates everything about him...

She just wants to leave Mumbai as soon as possible...

She is only thinking of Angad all the while when they travelled to the temple...

Kripa is happy to be here for all she needs now is some peace of mind, she wants to get rid of Angad's thoughts, she doesn't know why is she even thinking about him? Whatever maybe it's his life and what's it got to do with her, isn't it?

But why is worried about him? He is not related to her nor is he a friend, maybe she is worried that her father would be heart-broken to know about Angad's real self...

Or is she the one really heart-broken after seeing Angad, though her father's constant Angad talks irritated her and made her feel neglected,her father's words have registered a false hope about Angad and when he turned out to be just another spoilt rich brat she is really disappointed...

As they reach the temple Dadi wants to wait for someone while she asks Gayathri and Kripa to go and she'll join them in a minute...

Dadi wants Angad to come to the temple for he is here after so many years and he should get Devi maa's blessings...

She had sent a message to the driver and Angad should be here any minute...

Angad respects Dadi so much that he left all his work in the middle and came with the driver not even knowing where he is going, as Dadi called him and asked him to come immediately he just left with the driver Dadi sent...

He thought that Dadi wants him to meet her old friends...

When he comes to the temple he is like what am I doing here?

He does believe in the Almighty and he sees HIM in his music, he believes that God resides in the musical notes rather than in these places of worship...if HE is there he is everyhere...in veery musical note, in every little thing from the air to the skies...

Angad: Dadi dear, what's this?

Angad looks at her as if he is in some alien world...

Dadi: Angad come on, you know it's important to start with the prayers, and this is a new chapter in your life and I want you to be happy like always with more and more success

Angad: so you believe in God and not your Angad?

Dadi: Angad

Dadi pretends to warn him...

Angad follows her like a kid without further arguments...

Dadi: that's a gud boy

When they are at the temple Angad keeps looking at Dadi and not Devi maa...

Dadi: Angad, kya kar rahe ho? look there and pray

Angad: Dadi, you know I'm here for my sweet Dadi dear and not anyone else

Dadi: aaise nahi kehthe beta

Angad then hears someone singing... 

He follows the voice and he is hooked to the beautiful rendering of the prayer song which seems familiar to him though he hasn't had any chance of hearing it in UK...

He is surprised to see the owner of that soulful voice...it's Kripa whom he just met at his home...

This girl does have a very gud voice, he thinks...

As Kripa opens her eyes she is shocked to see Angad standing there staring her...

She steps back quickly...what is he doing here? And why is he blocking me?

She can't even pray to God in peace, uff she hates this place, this Angad and she wants to get back to her home and be herself...

Angad smiles...he wants to be friends with her, he somehow likes her...

Angad: you have a beautiful voice

Kripa doesn't even feel like thanking him for the compliment...

She just leaves from there and walks towards Dadi...

Kripa: Dadi, chalein?

Dadi: hare Kripa beta, ek minute, ye Angad kahan chala gaya? Angad

Angad comes still staring Kripa...he doesn't like when someone ignores him...

He is angry...must teach her a lesson...Angad Khanna is known for his attitude but this girl shows Angad attitude...not bad...Angad likes competition...

Dadi: Angad, you know Kripa's sings well, she has been training for years

Angad: but Dadi, Angad is the best, you know that

He just shrugs his shoulders...

Kripa keeps staring him...ye kudh ko kya samjhtha? He is too proud of himself and it's not at all gud for him...he has just come and still waiting for his launch and look at his attitude?

Dadi: don't forget,  Kripa is a tough competitor

Angad goes and hugs Dadi...: but Angad is always the best, haina?

Dadi: Angad, leave me, let's go

Angad: no, not until you accept it

Dadi: Angad?

Angad keeps looking at Kripa who is least bothered...he feels insulted...how dare?

Angad: Dadi, someone needs to know who Angad Khanna is?

Dadi smiles...: OK baba, you are the best, happy?

Angad kisses her cheeks and runs...: thanks Dadi, you are my darling

Kripa keeps watching him as he leaves...

Dilip has got an offer for Angad...it's some jingles...for an ad...

Dilip thinks that this way Angad will get easy recognition...ppl will recognize his voice easily...

And more over Ads have a wider reach...more ppl will start listening his songs then...

They have a deal and they need a pair for Angad, a female voice...

As Dilip tell about it to Dadi, Dadi suggests Kripa...

Surya hesitates as she is yet to start singing for she is still in school and has to learn a lot more...

But this is just a start and she can go back to school as it won't take more than a week...

Surya agrees as it's for Angad...

Kripa doesn't want to work with Angad but she has to do this for her father has trusted her for the first time...

Angad is also ready as he wants to see how gud this girl is?

He has no doubt she has a naturally gifted voice which is sweet...and also he will get to know her more which is the most excited part of it...

Dekhthe hai kisska attitude jeeththa?

Angad goes to meet Dadi...

Angad: Dadi dear, look who is lucky?

Dadi: lucky?

Angad: yes, lucky to sing with Angad Khanna

Dadi: ohh Kripa?

Angad: so you also got the news?

Dadi: hey I made the news

Angad: what? so it's your idea?

Dadi: haan, Kripa is a very nice girl, she's my sweetheart

Angad is jealous...: what about me?

Dadi: you are my favorite always

Angad: where's your sweetheart?

Angad winks and Dadi has found his mischievous intentions...

Dadi: Angad, Kripa is new and you should take care of her

Angad: don't worry Dadi dear, if she is your sweetheart then she is mine too, I'll take gud care of my sweetheart

Just then Kripa arrives...Kripa stps seeing Angad there...and she is thinking who is his sweetheart?

Dadi: hare Kripa, yahan aao

Angad looks at her like you must be grateful that you got to sing with me...

Kripa: dadi, mujhe aashirvaad dijiye

She gets her blessings...

Dadi: you'll rock beta, don't worry Angad haina? he'll help you

Kripa looks at him like who needs his help...

Angad: ohh yeah Dadi, anytime

Dilip comes to take them...: chalein?

Naina and Gayathri wish them...

They leave for the recording...

Surya is with them for the recording and Kripa is happy that her father is with her...

Kripa does a gud job for her first time, Angad is impressed and he pats her back and says " well done girl"...

Kripa doesn't like it...she leaves with Surya after recording as they have to leave that night...

After they leave Angad gets busy with his launch and he is excited to be working with Anuji...

He works day and night to make this a success and his album is well received by the fans...

He does live concerts of his album everywhere and when he comes to Delhi for the concert Surya and his family go to see his performance...

Kripa is surprised to see the response for it...and she also liked Angad's performance for a change...

Surya goes to congratulate Angad at the back stage and Kripa accompanies him...

After Surya leaves Angad stops Kripa by holding her hand...

Kripa turns back and stares...

Angad: so you are also a fan?

Kripa: you are wrong, I'm not, papa is your fan

Angad: so you are not a fan of my songs?

Kripa: nahi mujhe tummare ganne mein koi interest nahi hai

Angad: liar, I know girl's like me more, you know, I'm Angad Khanna

Kripa: I don't like

Angad: you don't like girl's liking me?

Angad gets naughty...

Kripa: let me go, papa'll be waiting

Angad: first tell me that you like me

Kripa: what?

Angad: so you don't want to leave, I know, you want to stay with me

Kripa thinks of what Naina had said about Angad...she thinks he is a flirt...

Kripa shouts...: papaaa

But Angad is not scared...he knows he is not wrong...

He is just having some fun with her...he likes playing with her...

Angad: OK go, see you soon sweetheart

Kripa hates him calling her like that...

She stares him for that...

Angad: ohh you don't want to go

Angad steps forward and Kripa runs off...

Angad likes to scare her...she looks so innocent and also beautiful...

After the show Surya and family have dinner with Khannas...

Angad just keeps looking at Kripa all the time...she is pretty...

Kripa is embarrassed and she tries to ignore him...

Then they part and forget each other until the next time when Kripa comes back to Mumbai...
