Part 26(B)
"But Bhai, Khushi is still new, she will be having lot many opportunities in the future too. Payal is experienced and it helps her to expand her knowledge"
"Exactly, Khushi is new and she can easily grasp, Payal is already experienced, she just needs a touch over which can happen anytime"
"But Khushi is required here to manage your work, while you are away, is it not?"
"Akash, she has to go through me for everything before it is finalised, so it can happen from anywhere"
"she was sick just a few days back would not it effect her again with the additional workload?"
Both the brothers were not ready to back down.
Akash wants Khushi to be away for one Arnav may sabotage his relationship with the elder sister, two Payal is always struck to Khushi never giving him any chance to speak privately to her, they just need some space outside the professional surroundings at least for them to build a friendship, matters of heart can be dealt later.
Even Arnav has two reasons for Khushi to come as he has decided he wants to know the effect of the chit of a girl on him and Payal always tagging along wouldn't help his case, may be once he knows if its her or his hormones which are causing the recent turbulence in his mind may be then he can continue on with his life without much trouble.
After the verbal match of close to half an hour both the brothers have to take a break as they were called to conference room for a meeting, the attendees of the meeting saw a roaring ASR and a sulking Akash.
--------------------------------------------------
Payal was annoyed with Akash's one word, uninterested answers. Here she was trying to prepare the presentation and he was not helping her in anyway.
"What is it, is there another pressing matter at hand which needs more attention than this project?"
Waiting for the correct moment, he revealed everything which was on his mind albeit holding his growing feelings for her, his intentions of having more private talks with her and stressing only on how Khushi tagging along may not be good with the equation his brother and her sister have and emphasising how this chance could help her increase the knowledge.
"Yes, you are right it's best if she stays back, " she would protect her at any cost, there is no way she would allow her boss to have a way with her sister at his wish and command.
"May be you should inform Khushi before hand so that she is ready when bhai puts forth his suggestion" he doesn't want to delay.
Alas, he was already late.
--------------------------------------------
"You are coming to Mumbai with us, next week. Aman will let you know the timings once the booking is done." With that Arnav left without giving khushi much time to comprehend and respond, she was working on the budget file of Mumbai sitting in her cabin, when her boss simply presented himself unannounced and left with just saying one statement without even bothering if she understood or not.
-----------------------------------------
"MUMBAI?" Madhumati shrieked when both of her nieces took a perfect timing to reveal they need to leave for Mumbai.
"Jiji? You are coming?" Khuhsi was happy as she would not be alone. With her mind, heart confused in the presence of a certain someone with chocolate brown eyes, company in the form of her sister is appreciated.
"You accepted?" Akash was positive when he said Arnav will accept when he realises Khuhsi is not interested. As it was already closing time she decided once back home she can let her sister know of her decision but ASR beat her to it.
"Jiji, you know him, he never asks just orders," she sighed.
"But Khushi it would be better if you stay here while I accompany them, isn't it, you were sick few days before remember, you both don't get along too well?" damage control is the only option.
"And we should allow you to go alone instead?" it was Madhumati this time, what with these girls? the Raizada brothers are the reason they are slogging everyday, after the incident in Lucknow, she doesn't want to take risk with these girls, even her brother would not be happy if with her if she allows the girls to go. Sending her unmarried niece with unmarried men, nope, never.
"But Buaji, it's still better option than letting Khushi go" Payal persisted.
"No jiji. Buaji is right, he is never cordial at me does not imply he is cordial with you, you never know him, I do not want him to hurt you?
"But someone should go ?"
"Let the three of us go then" Before Payal could argue more their aunt decided, this way she could always look out for her children. No one would be left alone, no one would be going alone.
---------------
The next day before Arnav could enter into his office he received a call from his sister, her words raging him.
"What the hell"
