Chapter 2

Anjali hurriedly picked it up, "Hello?"

"Di? Ek problem ho gayi." Arnav answered her.

"Chote? Kya hua? Tum he maloom hai ke yahaan sab kitna pareshaan hai kyunki Khush-" Anjali was cut off by Arnav.

"Di, Khushi mere saath hai." Arnav told her.

"Kya?!" Anjali said loudly as everyone sitting in the RM mansion turned to stare at her.

Arnav explained the situation to Anjali and how the car had no fuel in it either so now they were both in a taxi heading towards the hotel while someone went to get the car from the jungle.

"Acha. Theek hai chote, hum sab ko bataa denge. Tum apna khayal rakhna aur phone zaroor karna", Anjali said to Arnav as she cut the call.

Then she explained the whole situation to everyone and Lavanya's face became red with anger.

At Nainital, Khushi couldn't believe her eyes when she saw the hotel. It was grand and huge with marble flooring, dazzling lights and beautiful landscapes.

"Hai, devi maiyya! Itna khoobsurat hai…", Khushi said with widened eyes.

Arnav walked towards the reception with Khushi following him in awe as she spun around to get in everything about the hotel. She was snapped out of her reverie when she heard Arnav's familiar "What the-".

"Iss laad governor ko what the- ke alava koi lafz nahi aata kya?", Khushi muttered to herself as she went to stand behind him at the reception.

"Sir, we are booked full and there is only one room! The one you booked is a master suite if you want we can send up a separate bed." the receptionist told him.

Khushi still was not paying attention and did not know what the receptionist was talking about.

"Okay", Arnav took the key and started towards the elevators. Khushi hurriedly followed him and entered the elevator.

When they reached the floor Arnav stepped out and Khushi followed him like a loyal dog.

"Itna bada hai agar main kho gayi na to phir kabhi nahi mil paoongi!" Khushi muttered to herself as Arnav stopped at a door and unlocked it.

Arnav froze at the doorway and was refusing to go in. Khushi was curious to know what was in the room that made Arnav stopped so she pushed past him and went in and as soon as she stepped in a shower of rose petals fell on her and she spun around enjoying the lovely scent and feel of them while laughing happily.

Then her laughter died on her lips as she remembered that she did all of this for Lavanya and Lavanya is not here.

Khushi turned around hurriedly to see Arnav looking at her fixedly with a glazed look over his eyes. Khushi looked confused as she moved in front of him and clicked her fingers. Arnav snapped out of his reverie and shook his head while muttering to himself.

He then came back to his usual self and said,

"What the hell is all this?!"

"Vo…Vo hum…hum ne ye sab kar vaya tha aap ke aur Lavanya ji ke liye…" Khushi replied nervously.

"What the-…Tum ne…" Arnav controlled his temper and said to Khushi

"Tum kamre mein raho samaan aatha hoga tori der mein jab thak mein conference hall mein jaatha hoon", with that Arnav turned on his heel and left the room leaving Khushi in a state of shock because he hadn't shouted at her.

Khushi turned around slowly and started to look around the room. There were candles all around creating a very romantic atmosphere and there was a huge king size bed with silk sheets in the bedroom.

"Hai devi maiyya! Itna acha karma hai ye. Vaise to Laad Governor itni jaldi nahi aayega to hum agar kuch masti karein to koi farak nahi padega na?", Khushi asked herself loudly in the room.

A knock on the door made Khushi jump and she went to answer it. A man came in with the bags and a cart with all sorts of different food. Khushi thanked him and closed the door.

"Sabse pehle to hum shower lenge!" Khushi said to herself happily but her happiness evaporated when she realised that she had no clothes with her!

"Hai! Devi Maiyya ab main kya karoon?!" Khushi prayed fervently until her eyes came to rest on a bag.

"Lavanya ji ka suitcase!", Khushi hurriedly opened the suitcase only to find that there was no clothes in the bag that covered her full body.

Khushi picked up a skirt and looked at how short it was with a worried expression on her face.

"Lekin woh Laad Governor to baad mein ayega to hum nahaa ke Lavanya ji ke kapde pehen lein ge jab tak humare dhul ke aa jayenge!", Khushi looked excited at this idea and quickly called up room service to get her clothes washed.

Khushi then had a very relaxing shower while looking at all the different shampoos and soaps they had after that she wore the most decent thing she could find in Lavanya's bag. An above the knee black dress with gold embroidery and quarter sleeves. Khushi wore the dress and felt very uncomfortable so she kept trying to pull the dress down.

Khushi was then thinking about what to do next when she saw the cart with all the food in it!

Khushi quickly started devouring the sweet jalebis and was working on the spicy samosas when suddenly it felt like her mouth was on fire. She quickly picked up the champagne glass which she thought to be apple juice and downed it in one go. Khushi made a bad face after drinking it but it quenched the fire in her mouth so it was good enough. With a full stomach Khushi sighed happily and went towards the bedroom but stopped midway when she saw a huge 52 inch television screen on the wall near the sitting room. Khushi giggled happily and turned on the television on the music channel. Khushi felt very hyper active and the song playing was "Sadi Gali" from Tanu weds Manu. Khushi loved this song for its fast beat so she turned the music up loud and started dancing freestyle in the sitting room while jumping on the sofas and jumping around. This caused her dress to ride up higher and higher until it came only mid-thigh.

 

Meanwhile…Arnav was coming up the elevator, the conference had been moved for tomorrow so he could go into his room and relax. Until Arnav remembered Khushi was with him too. Arnav groaned inwardly because he knew he could not relax when Khushi was around him. Sighing he reached his room door only to hear very loud music coming from inside. "Khushi", Arnav muttered under his breath as he unlocked the door and froze in his tracks.
