'Miss Gupta, come to my cabin right now!!!'
Arnav slammed the phone down. His tone did not sound appealing at all and poor Kushi limped towards his room with a face mixed of scared and anxiety.
'Please devi miyaa don't make him shout at me again, honestly I didn't do anything wrong this time', she prayed before entering the cabin. Her eyes widened like a scared mouse entering a lion's den. Arnav was staring at the laptop screen and glared at her no sooner she stepped in.
'What happened last night?', Arnav narrowed his eyes as he roared.
'ji????', Kushi had no idea what he was referring to.
Their most awaited fashion show went on smoothly last night without any interruptions. Hence, it was one of their most successful ventures up to date. Kushi was lost in her thoughts and tried to rewind her memory to catch any blunders but none cropped in her mind.
'Who was he?', Arnav sounded even more fumed up this time and Kushi could feel her brain started melting trying to figure what he was talking about.
'Who was who?', she repeated innocently not knowing what else to say.
'Don't answer my question with another question!', roared Arnav. Kushi's eyes got even wider and she deliberately took few steps backwards.
'Ji…. mujhe kuch samji nahi', poor Kushi blinked innocently.
'Ab mujhe tumko sab kuch samjana padega?', Arnav pulled his chair with rage and stood up.

Kushi could feel her whole body shaking into bits. She seriously didn't know what went wrong. But Arnav seemed extremely angry, angry is such an understatement for his state. This man was angry by default but this time he was more like a volcano which was about to explode.
She wanted to open her mouth and slam back at him but she was not sure if she really did make any blunders which she was not aware of. So it was better changing gears rather than getting your head shot by the angry young man.
'I'm referring to the man who picked you up from the hotel last night', said Arnav with his eyes all full of envy luring at Kushi.
Kushi's eyes roamed here and there and suddenly a big smile drew on her face.
'ooohh woh!! Woh Shyamji hai. Meine kahathana tumko uske baaremein?', she pointed her finger at Arnav as if she was trying to recall his memory.

She took a deep breath and felt relieved knowing she hasn't done anything 'abnormal' last night.
'Kaunsa shyam?', Arnav lowered his tone and his husky voice had less anger in it this time. But it was full of curiosity and urges to find out more about this 'Shyam' person.
'Arrey woh hamari dost hai, I've told you about him, remember?', Kushi came closer to Arnav's desk while blabbering.
'No', Arnav kept giving her a cold stare.
He tried to jog through his memory but couldn't remember Kushi mentioning this 'Shyam' person before. Or was that she was talking too much and he deliberately ignored her bak bak? He couldn't blame himself either because she DOES talk a lot unlike normal people.
'Lekin woh toh teek hai, why did you get all worked up about him?', Kushi rolled her eyes and did a small head tilt, looking curiously at Arnav.
Arnav quickly grabbed his chair and sat down. He pretended working on the laptop and tried to ignore Kushi. He had no clue why he didn't enjoy seeing that 'Shyam' taking Kushi on a ride on that cheap motor bike. He had never felt this insecure for a very long time. It wasn't clear to him why he envied that guy. Why did he feel like that 'Shyam' was trying to steal something so precious which belongs to Arnav Singh Raizada. He was lost in his own world. Without even looking up he could feel Kushi scanning his mind, trying to search answers.
'Mera project file kahan hai?', Arnav changed the topic deliberately to avoid Kushi .
'Now why are you asking me a question without answering my question?', Kushi barked at Arnav while crossing her arms.
Arnav looked up and gave another cold stare because he knew she gets melted like a candy bar with his glare. But this time Kushi pulled up her socks and stood still, unmoved. She did not want to get scared by his glare this time.
'Don't you dare try to scare me with you big fat eyeballs Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada! As your secretary and as a fellow member of ASR staff, I demand you to answer my question!!', she glared back at Arnav with a pout.
'Kyu? Tum kya karoge?', smirked Arnav sarcastically.
'Mein kuch bhi kar sakti hoon, tumhe kya? Aur ek baath yaad rakna….', Kushi started her blabbering trying to threaten him.
'Tum mujhe damki de rahi ho?... Arnav Singh Raizadako?', Arnav interrupted her mid way.
Kushi stopped her blabbering at once.
'Go and bring my project file. I have to meet Prem Juneja in 15 minutes', Arnav turned his eyes at the laptop while ignoring Kushi purposely.
'If my file isn't here in 2 minutes, I won't have time to get ready for the meeting, and if I don't finalize this project with Prem, there's no bonus for anybody here. Tum kaafi samajdar ho, hai na Miss Gupta? So go and bring my file now', he smirked again.
Kushi glared back and zoomed out of his room muttering to herself; 'who does he think he is? Kudko bhagwan samajkar rakha hai lard governor. Why does he care who I go with? I won't let this go very easily. He doesn't know who Kushi Kumari Gupta is'.
Arnav watched as she stormed out of the room. He closed his eyes and leaned back on the chair with one big question torturing his mind; why do I feel like I own her?
