Next day bhumi was again upset… thinking about arjun and last night when arjun and shefali were together…….just then someone rings the bell

She opens the door and bhumi's is surprised…….

I was keshav……..

 

……bhumi wasn't expecting him that day since he was suppose to arrive after two days….so she 's surprised……she opens the door….with moistened eyes…..

K: Surprise!!suprise

 

B: (controlling her tears) arrey bhaiyya aap

 

Entering in……

 

K: hmm…

 

B: par aap to parso aane wale the na(putting a fake smile)

 

K: tha……par apni behen ki fikar ho rahi thi ……to socha jaldi kaam khatam karke jaldi aa jaoon

He notices bhumi's moistened eyes and her fake laughter

 

K: yeh kya bhumi……..koi problem …..(coming near her) kya baat bhumi….tu itni pareshan kyun lag rahi hai….

 

Bhumi feels that how easily her brother can read her………she hugs him……..and cries

 

K: arrey bhumi……..baat kya hai…mujhe bata to sahi

 

B: (looking at him) nahi(wiping her tears) kuch nahi….woh aapki bbahut yaad aa rahi thi naa….bhaiyya……..aachha…hua …aap ……jaldi….aa gaye……

 

K:who to theek hai bhumi……..par tumm..is tarah……bhumi….tum hi to keh rahi thi ki ab badi ho gayi ho apna khayal khud rakh saki ho…hai na…

 

B: main shayad galat thi…..

 

K: matlab

 

B: nahin who kuch nahin….aap fresh ho jayen….main khana laga deti hoon…..

 

Keshav looks at her sister……and feels worried

At the lunch…..bhumi still appears the same way…her eyes moistened…face pale…

To change the mood ……he takes another topic…….

 

K: arre bhumi humare pados main kaun rehne aaya hai….hmm?

 

Bhumi is stunned……..she looks at him…..  a bit nervous……

 

B: pata nahi bhaiyya!!

 

Keshav notices that bhumi is still upset…..

 

K: bhumi!!sach bata kya baat hai……..tu who bhumi jaisi to nahi lag rahi hai….jise main chhod gaya tha……….mere jane ke baaad yahan kuch huwa kya……hmmm

B: (controlling her tears) aisi koi baat nahi hai bhaiiya(puts a fake smile)

 

But tears still flow from her cheeks uncontrollably…..

 

K: bhumi agar koi baat nahi hai….to yeh aansoon kya yunhi nikal rahe hai…..

 

Bhumi is silent……….thinks to herself

 

AshkoN ko humne kayi baar roka,
phir bhi na jane kyoN ankheN dhoka de gayi,
Bharosa to tha hameiN apne aap par magar,
unka zikr aate hi naa jane kyoN palkeN nam ho gayi.

K:(concerned) bhumi tu bilkul meri bhumi jaisi nahi lag rahi……..jo hamesha mujhe tang karti rehti…tu jhe huuwa kya bhumi….mujhe nahi bateygi…..

Bhumi still doesn't say anything and finishes the lunch quickly and goes to her room

 

Keshav becomes more and more worried………

 

In night after dinner….

 

B: bhaiyya main aapse kuch baat karna chahti thi…

 

 

K: haan bhumi bolo

 

B: bhaiyya main thode din gaon jana chahti hoon….baba ke paas

 

K: Gaon(surprised) par bhumi….

Interrupting him……..

B: please bhaiyya….mujhe kuch din gaon main baba ke paas jana hai….

 

K: theek hai…main kal  ki ticket nikalwa deta hoon

Bhumi leaves the room quickly before keshav could stop her…..and and cries in her room……

 

 

Tumhare jutha pyar ko hamari zindagi samja,
             Tumhe apna dil deke tumhara dard liya,
Tumhare khel ko me samaj na saki,
              Tumko bewafa kehne ka kabil na rahi...

Next day bhumi is leaving for her village…..keshav accompanies her to the station….before leaving she looks at arjun's house……still a hope lingering in her heart..

 

Kismat se apni sabko shikayat kyo hai?
         Jo nahi mil sakta usi se Mohabbat kyo hai?
Kitne kaayein hai dokhae in rahon mein,
          Phir bhi dil ko usi ka intezar kyo hai

K: hmm..bhumi kya huwa…waha kya dekh rahi hain……

 

B: nahi bahiyya(wiping her tears) nahi kuch bhi nahi hai..nahi..

 

K: theek hai chalo…der ho rahi hai….

 

They leave and keshav drops her station and bhumi leaves for her gaon(village)

Arjun meanwhile finishes all the work in four days……..he and shefali are happy about it and inform mansen abt it….

 

Shefali thinks of leaving the same day…but arjun says he wants to stay

 

Sf: par arjun jab humara  kaam khatam ho gaya hai to kyun yahan rehna chahte ho…

 

A: shefali tum nahi samjhogi…tum jao…praptap uncle ne tumhe bulaya hai…mujhe thoda aur kaam hai…main kal aa jaaoonga

Sf: kal….aisa kaunsa kaam hai jisk bare main mujhe pata nahi

A: (not knowing what to say) who……..hai kuch kaam par tum chaho to aaj jao…main kal manage karloonga

Sf: (sighs) theek hai jaisi tumhari marzi

A: thanks a lot(relieved)

Shefali leaves and arjun thinks that finally he can spend some moments with bhumi which he is trying to…. since he came here but couldn't because of shefali….

 

He immediately leaves for bhumi's home and

Keshav opens the door……well arjun was hoping bhumi and was about to say "BHAVRI" when he suddenly realized that it was not bhumi n the door but…..it was her brother keshav on the door……….

 

K: yes!!

 

B: who…bha…mera matlab hai….bhumi hai……

 

K: aap??

 

A: main aapka padosi hoon…who actually mera kuch saman bhumi….mera matla hai bhumika ke paas reh gaya tha isiliye…..

 

K: (smiles) OH!! Par who to gaon chali gayi!

 

A: (shocked) GAON!!

 

K: haan!!(surprised why he is so shocked) who

 

A: (interrupting him) who kab gayi gaon….

 

K: uh.. Aaj subah….

A: (even more shocked) Aaj subah……

K: hmm

A: who kab tak aayegi……..

K: kuch dino…aapka koi zaroori saman that kya ….agar itna zaroori tha to main bhumi ko phone kar ke usse pooch leta hoon…

 

A: huh!! Aap mujhe uska number de sakte hai….plzzz…mujhe unse bahut zaroori kaam tha…if u could please….

 

Keshav gives him the number

 

After arjun leaves keshav feels as if he had seen him somewhere b4………..

 

He dials the no….bhumi picks it up

 

B: hello(her voice low)

 

A: Bhavri!!

B: (recognizes) arjun!!

 

 

Bhumi is happy for a momebt but the next moment his lie comes in front of her and says nothing….

 

A: (happily) arre bhavri…aaj main tumse milna chahta tha aur tum chali gayi gaon…..

 

Bhumi says nothing and puts the phone down…..

 

Arjun  is stunned……..he dials the number again……….bhumi picks it up again

 

A: bhavri!!phonee kath gaya tha kya…yeh gaon ki lines bhi naa…chodho….main aaj tumse milna chahta tha aur tum chali gayi..not fair

 

B: tum jab chaho…… mujhse miloge…aur jab tum na chaho main na aaon tumhare saamne…ye mujhese nahi hoga…yahan doobara phone mat karna….please mujhe pareshan karna chod do…mera peecha chodh do………

Saying she puts the receiver down and cries a lot….and thinks something that is…….

Dhalne lagi jo saanj to, Mujko bhula diya,
Ki zindagi ne zindagi ko hi bhula diya.
Mile. to muzse yun…… mile…….the ik khwaab ki tarhan,

aur dil mein mukammil pyaar ka toofaan jagaa diya.

Lekin tu muzko ye bata, muzse tha kya gila,
Dwesh ke sholon mein jo dil tak jala diya.

Badli ki bhaanti aaye, barse aur chal diye,
Meri hassen chaah ko kyun zhatka laga diya.

Bewaqt kaali raat mein yun doob chuke hain hum,
Ki  roshani ko khud hamne chura liya.

Arjun on the other side is very shocked by her this behaviour………

In bhumi's place….the phone rings again……..

B: (w/o even saying hello) maine kaha na tumse yahan dobara phone mat karna phir bhi….

 

It was keshav on the line….he interrupts

 

K: bhumi!!main hoon keshav…baat kya hai

 

B: (stops) bhaiyya aap….woh maine samjha…actually yahan kafi der se blank call aa raha tha to……..

 

K:  Oh main samjha….jaane do…..achcha who humara padosi tumse milne aaya tha usne tumhara phone number bhi liya hai….kya usne tumhe phone kiya ….

B: (controlling her tears) hmm….

K: usse koi zaroori baat karni thi…

B: hmm…bhaiyya hogayi baat

 

K: bhumi tu theek to hai naa….aur baba…

B: bhiyaa hum dono theek hai……..

She keeps the phone down

 

Arjun on the other hand is very upset…since bhumi talked to him  like that…he couldn't understand the reason for such behavior and remained disturbed the whole day…..

 

 

A: shayad meri galti thi ke maine phone nahi kiya bhavri ko mumbai jaakr par iska matlab ye to nahi ke woh mujhse iss tarah baat kare........aur koi shikayat thi to saamne aa kyun nahi kaha...........

 

Kaash tum mujhe ek khat likh dete,
        mujhme kya kya thi kami yeh to bata dete,
tadapte dil se mere tumne nafrat kyu ki,
        nafrat ki hi mujhe koi vajah to bata dete.

Next morning….

Mansen calls up arjun to call arjun Mumbai back immediately and arjun goes to Mumbai….still depressed by what bhumi said the previous day……

 

Arjun reaches Mumbai……heritage house……

Shakuntala reaches to her son as he enters through the door…..

S: arjun!! Kitne der laga  di……..kyun re waha maa ki yaad nahi aati thi kya….ek phone tak kar nahi sakta tha……..

 

Arjun is a bit gloomy and really depressed but he didn't want to reveal this to anyone so wore a mask of happiness….

 

A: arre ma aisi koi baat  nahi……..woh hume kaam jaldi khatm karna tha naa…isiliye…aur koi baat nahi(smiling and then hugging her)

 

Suddenly mansvi enters and is surprised and happy to find arjun …..

Mv: arre arjun….tu??

 

A: hi bhabhi!!

 

Mv: arjun jab shefali kal aa gayi thi …to tum waha kal kyun rukh aa gaye….

 

A: who bhabhi ….bahut zaroori kaam tha(remembering bhumi)…

 

Mv: to phir who kaam poora ho gaya…….hmm

 

A: who(he looks a bit sad and is unable to answer) hmm….

 

Mansvi notices this uneasiness in him………

 

S: oho mansvi!! Mera beta abhi to aaya hai….waha buiness hi sambahl raha tha………ab yaha aakar bhi kaam ki baatein karogi kya……..

 

Mv: (smiling) uh!! Jee mama….(looking at arjun) chaliye devarji……….jakar thodasa aaram kar lijeye……..

 

Arjun smiles and goes up in his room ….and shakuntala also leaves the room……..but manasvi is a bit worried ………

 

Mv: (to herself) ye arjun itna pareshan kyun lag raha tha………aur is tarah …..mujhe usse baat karni chahiye……..

 

Just then sahkuntala calls mansvi and mansvi proceeds to shakuntala's room……

 

Later in night……….

 

Arjun was standing near the window of his room ..very disturbed…..

 

Mansvi enters his room and finds him standing there and approaches him…..he is so lost in bhumi's  thought's that  he doesn't notice that……

 

While approaching him….mansvi finds a diary ……open …written something on it……

 

It read…..

 

             To be in love is to lose yourself.
             To be in love is to trust somebody else.
             To be in love is to look at him and know.

             To be in love.

             To be in love is to find the right one.

             To be in love is to find happiness.

{This was the poem he wrote when he was in nainital……..he was going thru this ………remembering his love}

 

Mansvi was stunned seeing this….she understood that something is really wrong and that is not connected to business rather its connected to arjun's personal life……..or his love life………otherwise he neva wrote such love poems…….

 

Mansvi approaches him and places her hand on his arm………

 

A: (turning back) Uh!! Arre bhabhi aap(wiping off his tears) yahan is waqt koi….zaroori baat thi…..

 

Arjun was trying to control his tears but was not able to….tears still came rolling on

 

Mansvi bought the diary up………

 

Mv: yeh sab kya hai arjun……..

 

A: ( a bit stunned and still controlling tears) who bhabhi kuch nahi…..main to bas yunhi

 

Literrally snatching the book from her and then turning his back to her………

 

Mv: nahi….main tumhe achchi tarah se jaanti hoon……..tum aise to nahi the………(after a while) main jabse is ghar main aayi hoon………tab se lekar aaj tak tumhe itna udaas nahi dekha hai………baat kya hai(turning him to face her) tumhe mujhe bhi to batao….

Arjun tries to convince mansvi putting a fake smile but in vain……..but mansvi just says

             yadon mein kabhee aap bhi khoye hongae,

             khulee ankon se kabhee aap bhi soye hongae,

             mana hasna hai aadath gum chupanae ki,

             par haste-haste kabhee aap bhi royae hongae!!!

Mv: main is poem ko padhkar itna to samajh gayi hoon……ke tumhari zindagi main koi hai…….batao!!

Manasvi is adamant an finally arjun breaks down…Mansvi is a bit shocked to see him break down……….she makes him sit on the bed……….and sits beside him……

 

A: bhabhi main kya  karoon….main use nahi bhula paa rahaa hoon……..main nahi jaanta ki aakhir mujhse kya galti ho gayi bhabhi who mujhse baat nahi karna chahti……..(crying)

 

Mv: arjun…kaun…kiski baat kar rahe ho tum……

 

Arjun narrates her everything………….

 

A: (standing near the window and crying)pata nahi bhabhi use kya hogaya hai……..

 

Mansvi is sitting in the bed and listening to all these……….arjun looks back and moves to place his head on her lap……….

 

A: mujhse kya huwa bhabhi….main usse bahut pyaar karta hoon….nahin reh paa raha hoon uske bina……..

 

Mansvi is shocked on hearing this………….she places her hand on his head and consoles him….but herself becomes very disturbed…………..

 

She doesn't say anything to arjun and after sometime leaves arjun alone and goes to her room……..

 

A: (looking at the sky)

             unhe adath hai zakhm dene ki,
             apni to fitrath hai gum chupane ki,
             ab tho adath si pad gayi hai ansu pe jaane ki
             kya haseen saza di hai zalim se dil lagane ki!!

 

Mansvi is quite shocked and is unable sleep for the whole night………..she thinks that although arjun has a right to fall in love

 

But still he has in the wrong time….when had said himself "yes" for shefali………..
