Aaliya felt a lot of feelings charge inside her.

What she had felt all these days was exactly what Aamir was talking about.

 

" No I don't Aamir." Said Aaliya trying very hard to keep her voice calm.

 

"I am the Sand Prince," he said looking into the sea, while Aaliya was looking at him.

 

" I live here on the seashore, unaccompanied most of the time, in castles built with sand. Somewhere on the seashore lives a Sand Princess, and she like me is alone."

 

Aaliya put her hand forward to touch Aamir's hand, as she thought that he really might be made of sand. But the touch indicated that he was human.

 

Aamir took a small stone and flung it into the sea. It skipped for some time then sank into the deep water.

 

Aaliya tried to do the same thing, to give her mind some time to think about what was going on, but her stone did not cover as much distance as Aamir's did.

 

Aaliya thought the Sand Prince, it seemed a little too wild, but she said nothing that would make Aamir feel bad, or come to know about what she was thinking.

 

When she had enough of looking at the stone, which was buried in water, she turned towards Aamir only to see…
