She turned around only to see that Aamir was looking at her,

and not at the stone (which at the moment did not matter.)

 

Aaliya was surprised to see Aamir like that; he looked dissimilar,

 very different indeed.

     

 

He seemed to be very serious of the "Sand Prince" thing,

Aaliya never thought he would be this serious about it

and decided to respect his feelings and his thoughts.

 

He moved towards Aaliya, who was rooted to her place.

 

He brought his hand forward and took Aaliya's hand and

he kept something inside her palm and closed it,

and let go instantly.

 

Aaliya opened her palm to see what it was.

 

When she opened her palm she saw, a stone,

which was a color that one can call beige, but was shaped

liked the moon. The beauty, the beauty of just a stone,

stunned her.

 

 

" This is wonderful Aamir, thank you very much." She said.

 

But Aamir was not listening.

He moved closer to Aaliya, so close that she could feel

his breath on her face. The moon was shining on them,

giving Aaliya the feeling of being right under the spot light.

 

 

" See you soon my sand princess." He said.

 

Slowly their lips met and before Aaliya knew it he was gone.

              

          

 

           Aaliya wiped her tear stained face,

as she retrieved from the penensive of the past.
