Lasts Years Hungama, This Years DRAMA

We have different courses through out our lives. Its foolish to think that one course will lead us through our entire life. Especially, when your only 18 and a senior in high school. Yet we try to believe, that everything lasts forever. But my friends, nothing lasts FOREVER. The intelligent, enjoy it while it lasts.
    Shazad was walking through the halls of school when he spotted Meem. He had decided last night to once again give Meem and his relationship another chance. He knew he didn't love her, he couldn't love her, it was too hard to love someone like Meem, but in his heart he wanted to love her.
S- Hey Meem
M- Hey Shazad, cant talk now I have to go to Mr. Derber…he has to fill out of college recommendation.
S- You can do that later too, lets take a walk
M- Shazad, we can take a walk later too, this is important, bye
    Shazad was about to kiss Meem goodbye, but she left.
S- …..okay, its okay
   Kripa was putting books in her locker, when she saw Shazad walking.
K- Hey bud
S- Hey
K- What's up? Broke up with Meem yet?
S- No, I decided to give it another try
K- Underline Another please
S- Whatever….I'll try AGAIN
K- Aw, I'm proud of you
S- For what, torturing myself
K- No, your growing up…finally
S- Shut up, what about you? Ever since boyfriend came in the picture, I don't get to see you no more
K- We're good, no we're great. And I'm sorry I haven't been giving you enough time.
S- It's okay…I can wait until you guys break up
   Kripa smack Shazad on the arm
K- Shut up!
S_ So Kripa, I don't think you know
K- What
S- Raj is in town
K- I know
S-Wait you know?
K- Yeah, I met him in a gas station
S- And
K- And nothing…
S- Does he know about
K- Yeah…and he's cool with it, and he should, its not like me and him were still together
S- I guess, but he and Angad were friends
K- Whatever…I'm happy with Angad, and Raj knows that. There's nothing else I can do about it.
S- Okay, I'll se you later
K- Okay bye bye buddy
Shazad left, and Kripa went into her homeroom. She was talking to one of her friends about the problems with her boyfriend
K- Don't worry Dina, It'll be okay
D- Yeah, I know…I hope
K- Guys are stupid like that
D-Not your guy
K- We'll I'm special
D- Shut up
K- Sorry, just kidding
   Angad walked into the class and came behind Kripa and kissed her cheek.
K- Hi boyfriend!
A- Hey girly
D- Speak of the devil
K- He's not a devil
A- Yeah, I'm THE Devil. That's Mr. Devil to you.
K- Me?
A- Yes you Mrs. Devil
K- Aww
D- Are you two done
A- What are you girls talkin' about?
D- I stupid love life
A- Yes, you see…your love life is stupid, what's the use talking about it. Mines on the other hand is great, so would you mind if a took my love life away for a while
D- Be my guest
A- Shall we Mrs. Devil
K- Angad…
D- I don't mind, you guys go and be love birds
K- Okay!
   Angad and Kripa walked away, Angad was behind Kripa with his hands on her hips. They went to the locker room, because Angad said he needed to get something from there
K- Are you done…
A- I didn't start yet
K- What are you doing then???? I'm gonna be late for class!
A- Waiting for the coast to be clear
K (annoyed)- For what?
A- For this
   Angad pulled Kripa to him, and started kissing her. He moved her face from her face, as they kissed. Kripa could hear Angad breathing faster. Angad let go of Kripa's lips, and looked at her
A- You going to be late for class?
K- It's okay to be late once.
A-(laughing) Oh yeah?
K- Yeah
Kripa kissed Angad and he kissed her back. Just as they were making out the locker room door opened, and they pulled apart fast
R- Hi…sorry I dint know you two
A- Raj?
K- Hi Raj
R- Hey…I just was checking to gym out and though I'd see the locker rooms
K- It's okay, I gotta go anyway bye
A- Bye
R- See ya
Kripa left and Raj and Angad were in the locker room alone.
R- Kripa must have told you I came back
A- Kripa knew?
R- Yeah didn't she
A- Oh yeah…I'm sorry I forgot
R-…So
A- So, Raj I should have told you about me and Kripa
R- Kripa told me before
   Angad's eyebrow went up
A- Kripa told you?
R- Yeah, I and cool with it. Really I am
   The bell rang for class to start
A- I gotta go to class
R- Yeah, bye
A- ……bye
   Angad left the locker room, and Raj stood there…alone. He was away from this place for only a few months, but everything left so unknown to him. So unfamiliar…he left like an outsider. At lunch Raj found Shazad, and they went to the gym to play some ball, one on one, just like old times.
S- So you met Angad yet?
R- Yeah…in the morning, I think they were making out
S- That's a nice sight for an ex-boyfriend to see
R- Whatever, It doesn't effect me as much
Just when Raj said that, he missed the shot
S- Soemone's lying
R- No really, I mean…I kinda felt it
S- You felt them kissing?
R- Ew, no! I mean, I kinda knew that Angad and Kripa would be a couple someday
S- Really?
R- Yeah, I mean didn't you? Last year, they met each other for the first time, and hit it of so good. They tell each other everything about life, and be so comfortable.
S- I guess
R- I used to be jealous of them. Kripa and I knew each other for so long, but never shared that comfort.
S- So your cool with it…
R- It doesn't matter even if I'm not, I'm leaving tomorrow anyway
S- ……this year is so different from last year, last year was so fun, and this year
R- So much more dramatic
S- Last years hungama, this years drama.
   Angad met up with Kripa during lunch. He was quiet through most of lunch, perhaps he was giving Kripa the silent treatment
K- Whats wrong? Talk already man!
A- I don't want too
K- Angad, I'm bored, talk
A- Go talk to Raj, you seem to do that real good
K- Raj? So that's what this is all about? Raj? Angad he's going to leave tomorrow
A- So you two discussed his whole itinerary
K-……why are you acting like this
A- Because
K- because what, your acting like such a ***
A- because, you're my girlfriend. It's your job to tell me when your ex-boyfriend is in town.
K- I wasn't hired to be your girlfriend Angad, it isn't my JOB to do anything.
A- You….God Damn
K- You have no reason to be angry
A- I don't wanna talk about this right now.
Angad got up and left, and Kripa sat there angry. Meem came and sat next to Kripa.
M- Hey
K- Hi
M- You look sad
K- No, I'm, not
M- Had a fight with Angad?
K- No
M- Kripa don't worry you
K- MEEM, HOW ABOUT YOU FIX YOUR OWN SCREWD OF RELATIONSHIP BEFORE TRYING TO GOVE ME ADVICE!
M- Excuse Me?
    Kripa got up and left, and now Meem sat there angry. Shazad came up and sat next you her
S- Done with you college applications
M- Your friend's a *****!
S- Huh?
M- Kripa, your friend..she's a *****
S- She's your friend too, and stop cursing at her
M- Whatever…
Meem was about to leave, when Shazad held her hand
S- Sit for a while, I didn't talk to you for a long time.
M- I'm not in the mood to talk right now Shazad.
   Meem got up and left, and now Shazad was sitting there angry. Raj was watching all this from the door.
R- Seems to be a pattern.
After school, and was sitting by the lake throwing rocks in the pond. Raj came and sat next to him.
R- There all gonna sink
A- What?
R- The rocks your throwing, there all gonna sink
A- So?
R- Nothing, what's the point of throwing them, if they all sink?
A- huh?
R- (laughing)- Nothing. So you had a fight with Kripa?
A- So Kripa told you?
R- No, I saw in the lunch room..along with 200 other kids. Then we all saw Shazad and Meem's drama.
A- Was it really dramatic?
R- Yup
A- Did I look good?
R- Nope…you looked like a jealous, jerk of a boyfriend.
A- That's nice
R- Angad…you were right to be mad. Kripa should have told you that I was back. But the only reason she didn't tell you, was because me coming back didn't matter, it wasn't something worth telling.
A-…..I know
R- It still bothered you right
A- Yeah…
R- Does it still other you?
A- No
R- Okay, then my job here it's done, I'm leaving. I don't know how you sit here, it smells the duck poop
A- I have a cold
R-(laughing)- that explains it.
   Raj and Angad left. Kripa was sitting on the swings in the park. Angad came from the back and pushed the swing.
K- Angad..
Angad sat on the swing next to Kripa.
A- I'm sorry
K- No, I should be
   Angad pulled Kripa's swing to him, and put his finger on her lips.
A- Lets start this day over
K- Okay
Angad kissed Kripa lighty and looked at her and whispered
A- Hi girlfirend
K- Hi boyfriend
Meem was sitting on the benches in the park, and Shazad came
S- Why did you call me?
M- To talk to you
S- Ok…what is it?
M- Shazad, it's senior year, I have so much to do, SAT's college, my family. I…cant keep up with it all
S- Meem you can do it
M- No, I cant…I'm tired, and really tired
S- Don't worry
M- I think we should
S- take a break?
M- No, I think we should break up
Shazad started at Meem for a minute, and started laughing. He got up and laughed as he left Meem, alone. Shazad met up with Raj at the court, he was still laughing.
R- What's up?
S-(laughing) She broke up with me
R- Huh?
S-(laughing) Meem broke up with me
R- Is that a good thing?
S (laughing)- I don't know, but it sure it funny
R- Did you love her?
S - Dude…it be the end of the world if a fell in love
Raj and Shazad both laughed, even though they didn't know why they were laughing.
R- Well, I didn't like her anyway.
S- Whatever…nothing lasts forever. so your leaving tomorrow right
R- Yeah
S- Okay
R- One last game?
S- Sure.
A- Can I join in
S- Hey Angad
R- Yeah dude, we never had that re-match
A- Lets play
S- Okay! Lets play!
   They played almost all day, just for fun. The next day Raj left…forever to Virginia. Well maybe not. Maybe he'd come back for college, maybe he wouldn't. Who knew what would happen in the lives of these kids…who knew

Writers Comments- There seems to be a lot of controversy over who loves who, and who should be with who. Well, let me try to expalin one thing. It's going to be hard for you all to guess the story, its un predictable, yes that's true. But don't try to think to much into the story, that'll confuse you even more. But please, try to be open to all characters…soon I'll be bringing two new characters in, be open to them and the old ones. No character is always right, or wrong.
