I had a Fight with a Vampire

Angad and Kripa walked holding hands through the mall. Senior prom was only a week away, and Kripa wanted to shop to their clothes. Angad didn't care much anymore, last year he did. But this year…with Vedika, Raj, and his heart surgery…wanting to go to the prom just didn't feel like a big deal.
K- Oh I think I'm going to wear a saree!
A- Okay
K- What about you? I'm thinking a baby blue shrit a a silver tie
A- Sure
K- I have a perfect image in my head
A- Yeah
K- Are are gonna have so much fun
A-Yep
Kripa raised her eye brow and looked at Angad
K- Angad do you think I'm fat?
A- Absolutely!
Angad realized what he had had after he said it. He looked up at Kripa.
A- I mean
K-…you weren't listening to me
A- No I was just
K- Just it, I'm not talking to you no more. I'm gonna go to the prom with some crazy hill billy, and then he gonna turn out to be a crazy killer dude, and rape me. Then I'll be in shock my whole life and become a stoner and it'll all be your fault.
A- No baby, I don't want that to happen
K- No, I'm not talking to you no more.
A- If I buy you ice cream will you forgive me
K- No….well only if its chocolate
A- I'll get you TWO scoops
K- NO! What do you want, for me to become a hippo or sumtin'
A- I'll still be with you if you're a hippo
K- Really?
A- Sure! I'll come to the zoo every week to visit you
K- Your mean!
A- Did I mention I'll bring chocolate ice ream every time I come too
K- Promise
A- Promise
K- No pinky promise, you'll always bring me chocolate ice cream..forever and ever

K- Yaayyy, lets go buy ice cream now!
   At achool the next day, everyone gathered in the assembly for some announcement no one was paying attention to. Shazad and Angad sat in one row, you could see Meem too in the side.
S- Yo did you see the game yesterday?
A- Yeah dude, it was too good! My boy made the final shot and..
S- Dude where's Kripa?
A- Ha! Look whos she's sitting next too
S- Who
Shazad lookeda round and saw her next to Meem. Kripa caem and late and had no other seat. She didn't want to sit next to Meem, ever since the break up..Kripa wasn't very fond of Meem. Can you blame her..Meem treated her best friend like crap and then broke up with him!
M- Hi
K- whatever…
M- Jee that's nice
k- You really shouldn't be talking
S- What are they saying?
A- I don't know
S- I'll be back
Shazad went up to Kripa to say hi, and said hi to Meem too. Just then Felix came to Shazad
F- Dude did you see that hot girl at the party?
S- I didn't a lot more then just see her
F- That's fuuny
S- Iight Imma talk to you later
F- Peace out son
Meem eyes were wide as she heard Shazad talk so happily.
S- Bye ladies
K- Bye
M- B…
   Shazad already left before Meem could say bye
M- Well you should be mean, he seems to be doing fine without me!
K- Well duh, you aint no angel from the heavens that someone gonna miss you
Saying thst Kripa got up and left to find another seat.
M- That was harsh…
   The principal was talking about college, and all of that. Since their was only about a month until senior graduation. They had a guest speaker. A freshman from NYIT. That's were Meem was planning on going too. Kripa wanted to go to Stonybrook. Shazad didn't care where he went and Angad…well lets just say after having of life of thinking you might die the next minute, he never thought about college…until now.
   The guest speaker walked up to the stage.
K- Damn he's hot!
   He was wearing a white shirt and black pants. His hair was gelled and a bit spiked. He had a eye ring on one of his ears.
S- I feel weird
A- What do you mean?
S- I don't know..I just do
   The Principal introduced the man….
P- Kids…please welcome Freshman from NYIT, Mr. Hussein Khan (Rajeev Kanderwal).
M- uff..couldn't they get a graduate from NYIT, they got a stupid freshman, what do freshman know about anything?
H- Good Morning seniors. I'm Husein Khan and I'm here to….bore the hell out of you for the next 15 minutes.
Everyone laughed and so did Hussein.
H- Yeah, it's good to start things off with a few laughs. Even thought's great to have a few laughs here and there…this time in your lives. It's the time to be thinking. Thinkking about everything your life will be next year. Next Year when you start College. College…interesting isn't it? For some it's party central, and for others it study central. Well I don't know what college really is, I'm, just a stupid freshmen there
M- your damn right about that
H- But…I o know about Senior year in high School. Like all of you know it's a blast. But it's also a time to set your life straight. Figure out you're your majors, your ambitions, your dreams…everything. Just think…think about what is the one thing you'd never give out on…the one thing that'll keep you going forever..that one thing will become your mjor and one da…the source of your paycheck. Don't go by that your parents want you to be…what do you want to become? At the end its you going throught those hard years in school…jusy you. So just think. And any NYIT applicants, I'll be there looking out for you.
The students all went to their classes. Kripa, and Shazad had lab for forensic sceince. Kripa's hair was pulled back and you could see her neck. Shazad saw something.
S- Hey Kripa whats that?
K- Huh
S- On your neck
K- Nothing
S (laughing)- It looks like something to me
K- No
   Shazad went really close to Kripa and examined it. It was a hickey. A nice and big one
S- So where'd you get that
K- From your father happy. We didn't want you to find out this was
S- Shut up…let me examine it!
K- Stop it!
S- Shh
   Shazad took a magnifying glass and looked at Kripa's hickey throght it
S- Fascinating
K (laughing)- Are you done yet…I'm mean seriously
   The Teacher came in and saw Shazad almost on top of Kripa looking at her neck
N- What is going on here
K- Sorry miss nisa
N- Miss Sharma whats the matter with you…I see you with Anagd one second and with this one the other
S- Eww no…Kripa was in a fight with a vampire..and he left his mark.
K- Shut up
N- BACK TO YOUR STATIONS!
K- Uff
   Angad laughing his head off in the school park bench while Kripa narrated the whole story to him.
K- It's not funny, I got detention!
A- (lauhign) Aww I'm sorry..I'll try to keep my teath away from you next time
K- yeah you should, it hurts a lot
A- Aww you want me to kiss it and make it better?
K- No! You crazy!
A- Let me kissed it and make it better
Angad tried to kiss Kripa's nek and she wouldn't let him. He kept teasing her about it.
A- It doesn't look all that bad
K- That's because I put cover up on it!
A- Smart
The bell rang and Kripa and Angad went to pack up. They both had a free class and so they were going out to shop for prom clothes again. Just as they were walking Anagd pulled Kripa to him, and bit the other side or her neck
K- Ouch! You loser!
A- Sorry, I had too…it was for the year book
K- What
   Kripa turned around and saw Shazad, he took the picture for the year book.
K- What wil you use that for
S- Prom picutre collage
K- But this wasn't in the prom and only the Prom King and Queen get a collage page
S- Didn't you hear? You two are nominated as Prom King and Queen
A- You serious?
K- Really??
A- Thast so stupid
K- Thast amazing, shut up Angad..lets go shopping!
A- Ugh!
Shazad left and Kripa wrapped her arms around Angad's neck.
K- So boyfriend, you gonna help me win this thing
A- Do I have a choice
K- Nope
A- Well then I'd love too
K- Yay, how fun!
   Anagd and Kripa kissed and went to the mall to win..I mean shop. Meem was running late for class, she was running to get to her math class.
M- I could sure use those powers right about now
Just then she bumped into someone.
M- Watch it!
H- Sorry
M- You? Arent you that speaker dude
H- Hussein…
M- Whatever..what are you still doing here?
H- Just looking around
M- Huh
H- I graduated from here
M- really? I never saw you
H- Really, I saw you…a lot
M- Whaever..I'm late and you need to move away from the door
H- Hmm…let me think about it
M- MOVE
H- I will…if you give me your number
    Meem started at Hussein for a minute, then she rolled her eyes and walked the opposite direction
H- Where you going?
M- To class….there another hallway you know
H- Damn..I forgot about that
M- Well too bad…
H- So does that mean I cant get your number
M- You cant
H- Can I give you mine
M- Nope
H-…I'm guessing your not single
M- Yes I am
    Hussein went next to Meem and looked at her
H- Then miss Meem Ahmed, you mighty foolish to not have given me your number…girls kill for it.
M- I'll remember to visit them in jail
H (laughing)- So…how about I pick you up at..
M- How about not, and get out of my way
   Meem pushed Hussein and went to class.
H- Interesting…
Shazad came from behind and tapped Hussein on the back
S- hi, I'm Shazad
H- Huessein
S- That was my ex-girlfriend you were talking to
H- That was my future gilfriend I was talking to
Saying that Hussein left. Shazad just laughed
S- Good Luck with that buddy.

Writers Comments- Well its seems like Shazad was some competition there. Now what do you think..will it be a Shazad and Meem love story or a Meem and Hussein love story. Anagd and Kripa's saga seem to be rollin' pretty good right about now. Everything seems to be calm…just like right before a big storm…
