Chapter 2

K: "Maam, can i ask you something?"
M:"haan, bacha..."
K:"Y does ur son not live with u?"
M: "pata nahi.. ghada hai is liye!"
at that minute malika's sister-in-law Pallavi comes in, " Oh! malika bhabi, maine ranbir ke liye ek ladki dhoo- tum yaha kari ho", noticing kanya. "um...i work here" said kanya, pallavi replis, "Yes i knw, because of my son."
"Pallavi..." Mallika interupted with at tone of warning" u knw very well tht kanya came here as 1 of the receptionists, today she is a head not because of ayaan but because of herself, get over the fact that rashmi is not better than Kanya."
"Bhabi, mere behen, rashmi ne sirf ek galti kari",replied pallavi
"Which costed us over 2 lakhs" reminded malika.

kanya knew this was getting too personal, so she excused herself. She made the arrangements for ranbir's arrival, and worked till it was 9pm. Her mother called her many times,but kanya did not answer, she didnot want to meet her mother and future father, NO! kanya thought, he can never be ur father!
malika was leaving when she saw kanya working on some report.
M:"Kanya, ur the head, n i knw ur working on the report tht is not valid for the next 2 months, i admire effeciency, but this is too much!,chalo i will drop u home"
kanya knew it was best not to argue with Malika, apart from being her boss, malika was like another mother to kanya, but kanya did not want to go home and face her mother and roy, but luckily it was raining so there was traffic. Kanya reached home very late, by then pammi went to sleep, but left something for kanya to eat.Kanya took her dinner to her room and when to sleep after 1 hour.

Next Morning, was filled with frustration, with pammi fussing over her daughter not eating food properly, to make things more annoying, she had to meet Roy(who is not bad, but a caring and a nice person.Kanya just dint like him because he was trying to be her dad), and because of the rain, there was a lot of traffic and the bus was delayed because of getting stuck in puddles.

Everyone was acting mad for some reason, she went to her assistend Cynthia, "Kya hora hai?, inquired kanya. "Oh! today malika maam's son is coming, toh sab log us oos ka hi wait kare hain." said cynthia, "Wait means patience, not chaos, this ranbir has to be some storm (Just wait and watch hon, rannu will be the storm who will bring everything back to normal in ur life! ), Cynthia im going to check if all arrangements r fine, lemme knw when Hurricane Ranbir makes an entry" said kanya
"Haha, sure" replied cynthia as kanya leaves

5 minutes later on the entrance of the Nanda Hotel, a black Merc(sorry dont knw how to spell mercedeez or wtvr!) and out steps Ranbir Nanda, 32 yr, wearing a t-shirt where his muscular body is clearly noticed, his hair tied in a pony where his eye piercing is emphasised on (yes, permission given to drool). He enters the hotel and waits for the Manager to meet him and assign him to his room where he can rest.
Returning from London to Delhi can assure you one thing... There will be no vampires in the flight thanx to all the garlic breath frm the Indian Passengers, thought ranbir. The manager meets Ranbir and they discuss some topics  till they reach his room. on departing the Manager tells ranbir," Sir, if u have any truble please be free to contact me or Kanya". "Who is she?", questions ranbir(tere hone-wali biwi ghade kahike!)."She is the head of the hospitality section." replied the manager and takes his leave

Ranbir strches himself and lies down on the bed, thinking what a terrible flite he had to suffer, plus the stupid baggage claim wait was more than 45 minutes!, and the traffic and keechad and cows in the middles of the street...eew!, he just has to be at Ira's wedding and then he will go back to his clean, posh and comfortable London home.
He was almost asleep when he hears something. He wakes up with a start, and searches the source of the noise which is coming from the bathroom. He walks up to the bathroom and opens the door and he sees a woman dressed in a pink salwaar kameez, she is beautiful though skinny thinks ranbir.
They keep staring at each other when ranbir realized that he will have to start the conversation "May I ask u wht r u doing in my room?"
"Oh! i came up 2 chk if everything is fine. I have never see.." her fone rings and she picks it up
Cynthia(C): "Kanya, ranbir nanda is here"
K:" okay cyn, on my way, tell the manager that everything is fine for Hurricane Ranbir, he can survive India.
both of them singger and she hangs up the fone.
Ranbir who lisnted to the entire conversation is mersmerised by this girl, for the first time someone made fun of him, she did not recogize him and he actually liked it. He kept staring at the girl, while she was saying something to him, he wasnt listening but just staring at her till she pinched him
"OW!, inssan ke haath hai ya fir billi ka nakhun"
k:"Oye! mr.khoya hua, mein kabse idhar hello hello kari thi, mein ab nikloo is bathroom se? and by the way this is a private room, what r u doin here"
R:"Oh this is my room"
k:"Im in the hospitality dept here,i knw that there r just 10 private suites in this hotel, and u .."
R: "Whts ur name?"
k: "Kanya, n anyways this room is not urz but of Ranbir Nanda's, and unless if ur not him then get the hell out"
R: "Ms. 2 by 2 Kanya, first think hu ur talkin to!, i am ur Hurricane Ranbir,"
K: "WHAT!" horrified that she made fun of her boss " sorry, but i have to go to meet ranb... No, to meet u, but i..."

Ranbir is enjoying himself, because she has a very funny but cute expression while she is trying to analyse the situation. Suddlenly he realizes that if he enjoys this girl's company, if his mother(who is a detective when it comes to recongnising rabir's feeling and emotions) comes to knw, he will get him married!
one of the reasons he doesnt like to live in his family house is cuz his family manage to make a line of single girls ready to marry him!
Ranbir, snapping out of his trance, pulls kanya after holding her wrist, and leads her out of the room, Kanya who is still shocked walks cluelessly to the lift and leaves the floor.

Ranbir who watches Kanya leave smiles and enters his room, her smell still lingers. Ranbir is thiking" what the hell just happend?, did i feel something for this Kanya, GOD! i wish to see her again!. Get out of it! relation ka matlab tata to bachelorhood!" then he remembers the manager telling him abt kanya being the head of the hosp. dept, smiles to himself, well i get to see her again, without worrying abt mom!
