Part 51:

Prithvi was surprised by the reaction Kripa had showed him.  He knew now that he had to change his plans.  The girls were so weak anymore.  No one dared to slap Prithvi before...but Kripa did...not once...she slapped him 5-6 times.  Prithvi was more angry now.  He became quiet for a few days and stopped appearin in front of Kripa or Aliyah.  He would meet Angad every now and then outside of Khanna House.  Aliyah and Kripa had been much more relaxed now that prithvi wasnt their doctor anymore.  Their baby was safe as long as they were concerned.  However, Angad and Kripa werent as close as before, neither were aliyah and josh.  Kripa and Aliyah would be in foul mood all the time which was really irritating the guys.  Yes it was supposed to happen during pregnancy but this was over the limits.  The reason that was still bothering was Kripa and Aliyah was that they knew prithvi was cooking up something.

A couple of weeks later:

Naina: nahi Angad....its ok...kisi ko to jaana padega na.....hum dadi ko saath mein le chalenge..Kripa aur Aliyah ka iss waqt travel karna theek nahi hai....aur un dono ke hote hue tumhe dadi ki fikar nahi karni chahiye...dadi hamare saath chalegi....

Naina finally succeeded in convincing Angad that the two pregnant ladies and their husbands would stay at Khanna house while Naina, Dilip and Dadi attended a wedding in calcutta.  Angad drove them to the airport and dropped them.

Naina: beta....Aliyah aur Kripa ka acchi tarah se khayal rakhna...khaas kar kripa ka...she is in her 8th month now....yaad hai na doctor ne kaha tha ki Kripa ki delivery 8th month mein bhi ho sakti hai....agar kisi bhi cheez ki jarurat pade to phone karna....theek hai?

Angad: yes mom....aap chinta mat kijiye...yahan sab kuch mein aur josh sambhal lenge....

Angad headed home to pick up Kripa after he dropped Naina, Dilip and Dadi at the airport.  Him, Kripa, Josh and Aliyah were having an outing on a deserted area of the beach Josh and Angad had discovered the other day.

Josh and Aliyah were at Aliyah's scanning.  Aliyah was in her 7th month and was having her godh bharai near the end after Naina came back.

Josh: How is everything?

Doctor: Everything is fine....the baby's progress is excellent...at first i was a little nervous about her pregnancy but now everything is fine....

Josh: why were you nervous though?  If everything is fine....why were you nervous?

Doctor: oh because i thought that the abortion she had before might effect this pregnancy but there is nothing to worry about.....Aliyah's ke pehle abortion ki effect iss pregnancy par bilkul nahi hogi....

Josh was stunned to hear that.  He looked at who looked down andbit her lips nervously.  They had forgetten to tell the new doctor not to say anything about her first abortion.  

Josh: Thanks doctor.

Josh got up and darted out of the room as aliyah followed quietly, not wanting to say anything to anger him further..

Angad and Kripa were waiting for josh and Aliyah at the beach.  They heard a car come to a schreeching halt and saw Josh stepping out of it and stomping away from Aliyah.  Aliyah followed him and tried to reason him and explain him about the situation and her first pregnancy.

Aliyah: Josh...I can explain...

Josh: Explain what????  That you killed my baby??

Aliyah: Killed your baby?

Josh: of course you did.......you got an abortion done before......WAIT....WHEN DID YOU GET PREGNANT THE FIRST TIME AROUND?  YOU DIDN'T EVEN TELL ME THAT YOU WERE PREGNANT.....GOD ALIYAH....WHAT THE HECK WAS THE PROBLEM??  WHY DID YOU KILL IT?  YOU KILLED MY BABY....I HATE YOU ALIYAH..

Aliyah(yelling back while crying): YEA I KILLED IT....I KILLED MY BABY NOT YOURS....BECAUSE THE BABY WASN'T YOURS TO BEGIN WITH!

Angad and Kripa looked over to see the situation.  Kripa knew exactly what was happening.  She was the first one to know about this.

Kripa: Oh no.....

Kripa started getting up and walking towards them when Angad protested.

Angad: Kripa.....ek husband-wife ke beech ki baat hai...rehne do...unhe apne aap problems solve karne do.

Josh raised his hand to slap Aliyah after hearing that the child wasnt his but Kripa caught it in mid air, Anger raining out of her eyes.  She glared at Josh while Aliyah walked towards the car crying.  Kripa threw Josh's hand away and set a tight slap across his face.  Josh looked at her in disbelief.

Josh: Kripa!  tum jaanti ho kya hua hai?

Kripa: SAB JAANTI HOON MEIN......aur tumhe poora sach nahi pata......sab kuch jaane bina kuch mat karo......jaanti hoon yahan pe kya ho raha hai...lekin usmein aliyah ki koi galati nahi hai...

Josh: KRIPA....SHE HAS BEEN PREGNANT WITH SOMEONE ELSE'S CHILD BEFORE!!  SHE GOT AN ABRTION DONE.....AUR TUM KEH RAHI HO KOI GALATI NAHI HAI???

Kripa: JOSH!!  THATS ENOUGH!!  TUM SIRF ADHURA SACH JAANTE HO....AUR TUMHE PURA SACH BATANE SE ALIYAH KO MEINE MANA KIYA THA.....i cant believe you would do something like that bhai.....you were about to slap her???  and when bhai??  she is in the 7th month of her pregnancy....do you know how critical it can be?  Didn't expect this from you.

Kripa rushed after Aliyah and caught her near the car.  Both Kripa and Aliyah got into the car and drove away.  Angad was more confused now then ever.

Angad: josh....yeh sab kya ho raha hai?

Josh: Angad...Me and Aliyah werent really husband-wife in that sense you know what I mean?  We didnt take the big step until we gave our relationship a good time.  Aliyah got pregnant in the first try...thats what I had thought....but When we went for her scan today......the doctor said....pehele abortion ki vajah se koi complications nahi honge......Aliyah has been pregnant with someone else's child....

Angad was angry at his sister.  How could she have done something like that and hide it from josh.  Angad was mad at Kripa too, she just said she knew everything, then why didnt she chose to tell josh or even him?  Angad safely dropped josh home to find that aliyah wasnt home.

Angad: shayad khanna house pe hogi....agar wahan pe hai to mein usse yahan pe le aunga....dont worry...sab kuch theek ho jayega..

Josh(heartbroken): kuch bhi theek nahi hoga angad....aliyah ne mera bharosa toda hai.....mera vishwaas toda hai....aur kisi bhi rishte ki buniyaat (base) bharosa hota hai....agar buniyaat hi nahi rahi to phir rishta kaise rahega?

Angad couldnt say much.  Josh had a point.  Angad drove home as anger levels raised.  he barged into Khanna house and yelled for aliyah.  Kripa who was sitting on the couch in the living room got up.

Kripa: yahan pe nahi hai woh...

Angad: kahan hai woh?

Kripa: mein nahi bataungi..

Angad: kripa....just tell me where she is....i am already angry with you both......isse pehle ki mera gussa had se jyada badh jaye, mujhse batao woh kahan hai.

Kripa(glared at him): Nahi bataungi..

Angad: KRIPA!!!  DONT TEST MY PATIENCE!  JUST TELL ME WHERE SHE IS DAMN IT

Kripa: NAHI BATAUNGI , NAHI BATAUNGI, KABHI NAHI BATAUNGI......TUMHE JO KARNA HAI KAR LO!!

Angad: KRIPA THIS IS THE LAST TIME IM ASKING YOU...TELL ME WHERE SHE IS.........AKHIR TUM HOTI KAUN HO MUJHE APNI BEHEN SE DOOR RAKHNE WAALI

KRIPA: MEINE KAHA NA.....TUMSE JO HO SAKTA HAI KAR LO LEKIN MEIN TUMHE KABHI NAHI BATAUNGI KI WOH KAHAN HAI.......UNDERSTAND??????

That was it.  Angad had enough of it.  he didnt think even once, forget thinking twice, before he crashed his palm on Kripa's delicate cheek.  Kripa was shocked.  Angad had never raised his voice at her and now he was getting violent with her.  Kripa held on to her cheek which was burning as it turned red while tears welled in her eyes.  Angad just realized what he had done.  He ran his fingers through his har and tried to reason.

Angad: Kripa I....

Before Angad could finish, Kripa had already brushed past him, making her way out of the house.  Angad groaned in frustration and rushed after her not knowing it was too late and that she had already left in her car.  Kripa drove directly to Aliyah's hideout which was Anjali's old bunglow to which Kripa and Aliyah had the keys.  No one besides Aliyah Kripa and Anjali knew about it.  Seeing kripa enter the house with one red cheek that told the story of her being slapped while the tears flowing out of her eyes told the story of the wound she had gotten by words.  Aliyah and Kripa consoled each other, having trouble beliving that these were the same husbands they had just yesterday.

Aliyah: sab kuch khatam ho gaya Kripa...josh meri ek baat bhi sunne ko taiyaar nahi hai..

Kripa: Nahi aliyah....woh dono sirf iss liye gussa hai kyunki unhe pura sach nahi pata....unhe lagta hai ki galati hamari thi....please aliyah....let me tell them....tumse meine promise kiya tha isi liye meine kuch kaha nahi...varna mein pehle hi dono ko sab kuch bata deti....

Aliyah: lekin kyun Kirpa...josh ne to kaha tha ki usse mere past mein koi interest nahi hai....to aaj achanak yeh...

Kripa: kyun ki woh ek mard hai....sab mard aise hi hote hai....aaj tumse kahenge ki woh tumse bahut pyaar karte hai lekin kal ko ek choti si baat le kar yeh bhi keh denge ki woh tumse nafrat karte hai......jaise bhai ne kiya...usne kaha ki usse tumhare past se koi lena dena nahi hai lekin aaj jab koi problem tumhare past se chal kar tumhare present mein aa gayi hai.....to usse suddenly interest hai....aue dekho na...Angad ne bhi mujhe ek pal mein paraya kar diya...

Aliyah: I am sorry Kripa....tumne apni zindagi mein bahut dukh dekhe hai...aur ab jaa kar jab tumhe bhai ke saath thodi si khushiyan mil rahi thi to mere past ki vajah se

Kripa: KYA MERA PAST MERA PAST LAGA RAKHA HAI TUMNE?  Aliyah tumhare uss past se kahin na kahin mein bhi judi hui hoon and you know that very well...for god's sake stop blaming yourself for it....

Aliyah: lekin ab kya hoga??

Kripa: I know.  Dekho...iss baar tum mujhe nahi rokogi....hum unhe sab kuch sach sach bata denge.....dekho...we have lost almost everything as of now...even if they dont understand after we tell them...we have nothing more to lose but if they do understand...hamari bikhri hui zindagi vapas jud sakti hai...

Aliyah and Kripa left Anjali's place soon and drove towards Khanna House.

HEY ALL MY WONDERFUL READERS. ALRIGHT....I AM STANDING AT AN INTERSECTION WITH THIS STORY NOW AND I NEED YOUR HELP TO FIGURE THINGS OUT.

I am at such a point where I can end the ff as soon as the prithvi problem is solved....OR i can continue with another twist i have in mind. So let me know what you guys think. And i will not be leaking anything on the new twist just yet...lol....so guys...help me chose..

a) End the ff after prithvi problem is solved
b) Continue with the second twist....

Now a few things....if i end this ff now..i might not start another one until summer because i dont have a new concept yet...and i have no time to sit and think up of one..lol.....but if I do continue then chances are higher than I will start another one as soon as this one is finished because i usually get sudden ideas from the novels i read or movies and shows i watch.....or maybe just a random thought while im writing a part....so yea.  Just let me know your choice!
