Part 52:

While Kripa had made her way to Anjali,s apartment, Angad had searched for Kripa frantically.  She wasnt in the position or the mood to be alone.  Angad,s guilt levels raised higher as time went by.  He shouldn't have slapped her like that.  What did she do that was so wrong? She was just saving her friend from two angry men.  She was right all along.  The guys were at fault for not listening to their wives as well.  It was going to be hard to make it up.  Angad rushed to Josh's place when he failed to find Kripa.

Angad: Josh..kahan ho sakti hai woh?  I even went and searched the beach...shes nowhere to be found and i am really scared.....Why the heck couldnt I keep my anger in control!!  What have i done??

Josh: Dont worry......kuch nahi hoga...

Angad(shocked): How can you talk like that Josh?  We are talking about Kripa and Aliyah....the two women both of us absolutely love to death...

Josh: correction....the women you love to death....i used to...not anymore.....un dono ne sab kuch khatam kar diya...

Angad: oh please josh.....kam se kam apne aap se to jhooth mat bolo...aur waise bhi abhi kuch khatam nahi hua hai.....yaad hai Kripa ne kaha tha ki hum pura sach nahi jaante....to humein pura sach jaane bina kisi decision pe nahi aana chahiye....hold on....ghar par phone karke dekhta hoon...shayad kripa vapas aa gayi ho....

Angad called Khanna house out of curiosity to see if Kripa was there and he succeeded.

Kripa: Hello...

Angad: Kripa Please....dont hang up....listen to me first...

Kripa became silent and heard what Angad had to say.  But as Angad started to continue, he heard Aliyah scream Followed by Kripa screaming "Aliyah".  Angad's heart skipped a beat of fear.  he hung up and ran towards the door.

Angad(yelling while running): JOSH LETS GO!!!  ITS AN EMERGENCY!!

Josh: what now?

Angad(irritated): Josh...stop being like that alright....i know you still love her and on the phone i heard her scream....do you not know what that means??  She could be in labour damn it.....you know what!  forget it!  agar tumhe ana hai to aao...mein jaa raha hoon...

Josh followed angad after hearing that Aliyah might be in labour pain.

On the other hand, Aliyah screamed when Prithvi suddenly grabbed her by the arm and started dragging her outside.  Kripa followed 4get to say anything to Angad on the phone.  She reached him and again raised her had to charge him but he stopped her by holding her hand.

Prithvi: Not this time Kripa.....

Within seconds, Kripa and Aliyah were surrounded by six men dressed in complete black and masks.  Now they were frightened just as they had been two years ago when Prithvi had done the same thing.  Kripa and Aliyah clutched each other and tried to make a run but the six men separated the two.  the six divided themselves in groups of 3.  The slightly made a slit on the girls' legs preventing them from running because of the pain and carried each woman out of the khanna house.  Kripa and Aliyah knocked over several wases and coffee tables so that Angad would make a guess about what happened.  Kripa was sure he was coming to Khanna house after hearing those screams.  Kripa and Aliyah were shoved in a van and Prithvi drove away as the other six followed his van on their bikes.  After a few minutes, Angad and Josh reached Khanna House.  Angad's  legs froze at the entrance as he saw the map of Khanna house's living room.  Out of the many vases there, only one was standing safe while the others were scattered on the floor.  Magazines and the coffee table spread across a corner of the room.  The phone's receiver on the floor, broken.

Josh: ANGAD!

Angad turned to josh at once and noticed two think trails of blood drops that led outside.

Josh: Angad..i am scared.

Angad:  ok…josh, relax…..so our prediction was wrong…..neither is in labor pain otherwise….the house wouldn't be like this…what the heck happened here though…

Josh: Kidnapped!!!  They've been kidnapped….thats the only thing I can think of right now.

Angad: but….who would do anything like that??

Angad and Josh immediately set on a hunt for their wives.

Meanwhile, Prithvi had driven them to a deserted area where a dislocated cottage stood, isolated.  The six men had already left knowing that now it wouldn't be too hard for prithvi to control the two women.  He simply threatened to hit their stomach if they tried to act smart.  Both women, for the sake of their baby, went inside before he pushed him or anything.  He shoved them in a small room which bared no room after that one bed had been fixed in there.  He closed the door and locked it from outside.  Kripa and Aliyah were too shocked to digest anything.  They hugged each other and sobbed.  This was it.  They were going to lose their baby, and their life.  They were never going to see their loved ones again!  After a few minutes, they heard the door being unlocked again.  Both moved back cautiously on the bed.  Prithvi entered with a gay grin on his face.

Prithvi: Hi ladies….dekha..meine kaha tha na…seedhe seedhe mere paas aa jao…to mujhe yeh sab nahi karna padta…..tum dono hamesha mujhe aise hi majboor karti ho….you both know I love you very much…(tears welling in his eyes)…trust me….i will keep you both very happy….

Aliyah moaned in pain when the cut on her leg rubbed against the corner of the bed.

Prithvi: dekha…kya ho gaya….dekho..(Showing a first aids box)…lao..mein theek kar deta hoon….

Aliyah: KOI JARURAT NAHI HAI…..DARD DENE KE BAAD DAWA DENE KO KOI JARURAT NAHI HAI!!

Prithvi was angry and he grabbed her leg tight causing both ladies to let out a light scream.

Prithvi(through clenched teeth): meine kaha na..mein theek kar dunga…matlab theek kar dunga….

He gently wiped the blood with the cotton puff and applied the general healing creams and bandaged it.  He did the same with kripa.

Prithvi: I am sorry….tum dono ko dard pahuchana nahi chahta tha…lekin….tum dono ne majboor kiya….mein kya karta…..lekin ab chinta mat karna….bas…sirf do din ki baat hai…do din baad na tum dono rahogi aur na yeh dard…

Aliyah(sobbing): Please prithvi….chod do humein…….agar tum chahte ho to mein abortion karva lungi…Even kripa will get an abortion done….but please….leave us alone..

Prithvi: theek hai….abhi tum dono ko rone ke liye akela chod deta hoon…lekin mein kal raat vapas aunga….we will have some 'fun' okay?....until then…bye!...and oh yea……tum dono ke liye breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack aur dinner….mein le kar aunga…okay?  Love you.

He moved closer and forcingly placed a kiss on Kripa's forehead and Aliyah's cheek.  As soon as he left, the ladies broke out into loud sobs again.  They wanted to be with Angad and Josh right now, in their respective husband's arms where they feel so safe.  Both fell into their thoughts, as sleep was the last thing that came to their minds.

Aliyah: remember when we met him Kripa…..2 years ago..

Kripa: I know….he looked so innocent in that black suit…………

FLASHBACK:(All the parts written in orange are flashback)

Amy, Kripa and Aliyah's friend was throwing her 18th birthday party.  All three were wearing the same purple dress, jewlery, make up.  Heck, they even had the same hair do's.  They looked like perfect triplets the only difference was their skin colour.  But how did that matter?

Amy: hey Kripah...come...I want you to meet someone.....

Amy dragged Kripa and Aliyah to a good looking man in black suit and perfectly gelled hair.

Amy: Hey prithvi....meet my best friends....Aliyah and Kripah...and guys....this is Prithvi....Matthew's best friend...he just came from hamilton yesterday...he will be attending university with us....

Kripa: Hi prithvi...nice to meet you.

Aliyah: Hi...glad to know that you will be one of us now...

Prithvi: hm...finally...i get to see two beautiful Indian faces...I must say....even though you three are dressed exactly alike....Kripa and Aliyah are looking the best.....

Amy: How mean....you dog!

Prithvi: well...i dont want to say anything to you hun...matthew will kill me if i did...

Kripa, Aliyah and Prithvi spent the whole night partying and became good friends instantly.  In the next few months, Kripa and Prithvi spent maximum time together while Aliyah always tried to stay away.  She felt that Prithvi was starting to develop feelings for Kripa.

Prithvi: Kripa...are you going to the annual party?

Kripa: no...actually....everyone going has a date....me and aliyah dont so we have other plans...Why you ask?

Prithvi: oh well....you see....I....actually I....

Kripa: are.....kya hua.....bolo na....

Prithvi: honestly Kripa....I really like Aliyah..

Kripa choked on the coke she was about to swallow.

Kripa: ARE YOU SERIOUS???  AHHHHH.....im so excited...ok....so i see....you want her to go with you.....

Prithvi: I am scared to ask her...

Kripa: but Prithvi...if you like her....you have to tell her yourself....I cant say anything...if i do...she will think you're a coward...c'mon...be strong and tell her....What's the worst that could happen?  call her right now...she's at the dorm...

Prithvi agreed to kripa and called Aliyah.

Prithvi: Hey aliyah....um..yea...its Prithvi....

Prithvi kept looking at Kripa as he talked to Aliyah since Kripa signaled him to not tell her that she was there.

Aliyah: Kripa hai kya wahan??

Prithvi: Kri...Kripa?....Nahi....woh to nahi hai......

Aliyah: oh...to tumne yeh poochne ke liye phone kiya tha ki Kripa kahan hai?

Prithvi: no actually....I wanted....i wanted to meet you...

Aliyah(confused): Oh......koi kaam tha kya?

Prithvi(looking at a grinning Kripa): haan....woh tumse jaruri baat karni thi.....

Aliyah(thinking to herself): lagta hai Kripa ke baare mein baat karna chahta hai....(to prithvi): ok bolo...kahan milna chahte ho?

Prithvi: um...you know the dairy queen around the block of your dorms......how about there?  today at 5:00?

Aliyah: at five??  thats in 20 minutes!!!!

Prithvi: I know..please...its really important....

Aliyah: ok.....i'll see you in 20 minutes....

Prithvi hung up and looked at kripa who was grinning while raising her eyebrows teasingly.

Prithvi: stop grinning...

Kripa: I will..once you stop blushing.....

Kripa giggled as Prithvi just got redder.

Prithvi: Kripa...tum bhi chalo na saath mein....

Kripa: Mein?  Are nahi baba.....mujhe kabab mein haddi nahi banna...tum dono romeo juliet ke beech mein Kripa ki kya jarurat hai......you go and tell her ok?  I will talk to you tonight...now run....Girls hate to wait..

Prithvi(got up and walked a few steps): Kripa mein soch raha tha....aaj ka din accha hai kya?


Kripa: Prithvi...just go alright?

Prithvi(walks a few more steps): kripa I...

Kripa(inturupting): just go!!

Prithvi( another few steps): Kripa...

Kripa: PRITHVI!!  I'LL KILL YOU!!

Prithvi: ok ok.....sorry sorry.....

Prithvi ran out of the cafe.

Kripa(giggled as shaking her head): Paagal....

Aliyah: hey Prithvi....must say......you're the first guy who's so punctual.....accha...tumne kaha tha ki tumhe kuch important baat karni hai..

Prithvi: haan.....important to hai...

Aliyah: to bolo...

Prithvi: Actually woh kya hai na aliyah....i wanted to ask you...um...are you going to the annual party??

Aliyah: no..Me and Kripa have other plans....

Prithvi: oh...well...I was wondering if...Kripa would go with me...

Aliyah(trying to supress her smile): Why do you want to go with her though??

Prithvi: oh come on....

Aliyah: offo...tell me na...

Prithvi: ok fine.....yes...I really like her...

Aliyah(smiling wide): finally.....i knew that....and dont worry...Kripa ko tumhare saath jaane ke liye mein mana lungi...theek hai??

Prithvi: thanks so much.....you are a life saver...

Aliyah:..you're welcome...anyways...i gotta run...i have to return these books to the library before they close...

Aliyah got up, collected her books and her ice cream and rushed out of DQ.  As soon as she left, Prithvi let out an evil chuckle.
