PART 20

Raj got up and went to Naina and held out his hand. She was surprised but still gave him her hand. He pulled her up and started dancing with her in total filmy style while singing:

Tum paas aaye,
Yun muskuraaye,
Tum ne na jaane kya sapne dikhaaye,
Ab to mera dil,
Jaage na sota hai,
Kya karoon haaye,
Kuch kuch hota hai

Everyone was clapping wildly. Naina was blushing. She definitely did not expect this from Raj, but she loved it. Everyone started urging her to sing a song for him. They all said that she had to give a romantic reply. After lots of persuasion she started singing shyly:

Tujhe dekha to yeh jaana sanam,
Pyaar hota hai deewana sanam,
Ab yahan se kahan jaaye sanam,
Teri baahon mein mar jaaye hum!

Now Raj had started enjoying this. Started dancing in total SRK style:

Mehandi lagake rakhna,
Doli sajake rakhna,
Mehandi lagake rakhne,
Doli sajake rakhna,
Lene tukhe O gori,
Aayenge tere sajna!!!

Now everyone was on their feet singing along and dancing. Finally when everyone calmed down, they resumed the game. Now the bottle stopped between Riya and Huda. Riya started singing:

Deewana hai dekho, bekarar ho!!!!
Sambhalo sambhalo na pyaar ho!!!!
Apna banake dekho,
Dil na churale who,
Aisa kyun lage hai bolona!!!!
Dumchukachukadum, tum bolo hai who kaun jo,

Everyone clapped and laughed. Huda looked extremely prouyd.
Huda: after all meri personality hi kuch aisi hai na. sab jananiya mujh par marti hai!
But Raj did not look so amused.
Raj: Yeh kaisa gaana tha. Riya, kahin tum sach mein…
Riya: Relax bhaiya! Chill! It was just mast, nothing else.
Raj did not look satisfied but did not say anything. They continued with the game.
This time Raj had to sing for Pooja. Now he felt like doing some masti! He got up and took Pooja's hand in his and started dancing salsa with her:

teri aankhon ke matwale kaajal ko mera salaam.
Zulfon ke kaale kaale badal ko mera salaam,
Ghaayal karde mujhe yaar, teri paayal ki jhankaar,

Naina understood Raj's intentions clearly. He wanted to try and make her jealous. She smiled and played along. She got up and made a sad expression putting one hand on her head (in that perfect filmy tragic way) and with the other hand pointed at Pooja and Raj:

Dost Dost na raha……
Pyaar Pyaar na raha….
Dost dost na raha….

By now everyone was laughing so hard that naina's singing could hardly be heard. But suddenly Shalini shouted.
Shalini: Cadets stop it! Please! Its 9:20 pm, well past lights out. Please head back to your rooms now.
Everyone groaned and pleaded but she would not listen. Resigned, they all headed back to their rooms. Raj and naina were the last to leave. Hand in hand, they silently walked back to Raj's room. Suddenly Naina broke the romantic silence:
Naina: Raj, Do something romantic na!
Raj staggered.
Raj: Kya? Yaani ki yeh sab gaana, nachna jo mein ne abhi kiya, that was not romantic?
Naina: It was, but wat I mean is…… Raj, you have not even taken me 4 1 official date now!
Raj: date? Tumhein date par jaana hain?
Naina: haan. Ab excuses mat karma. Planning tumhari responsibility hai.
Raj: theek hai. Tum fikar mat karo, love.
They had reached Raj's room. Naina then headed to her room and since both of them were very tired, they fell asleep the moment they fell on their beds.

The first class the next morning was Raj's. Naina made it a point to come there a little early so that she could spend a little time with him. She entered the class to find him writing on the board.
Naina: good morning, sir.
Raj looked at her, amused.
Raj: good morning, cadet singh. Aap yahan itni jaldi?
Naina: agar koi problem hai to mein wapas chale jaati hoon.
He stepped down from the platform and stood in fron of her.
Raj: oh no cadet, uski koi zaroorat nahin hai. Aap yahan baithiye.
Naina: thankyou sir. Waise meine suna hai ki aap apni girlfriend ko date par le jaa rahe ho?
Raj: Cadet singh behave yourself. Aap aapki teacher ko itna personal sawaal kaise pooch sakti ho?
Naina: arre, aap to naaraaz ho gaye sir. Accha itna to bataiye ki who ladki hai kaun?
Raj: hai ek nakchadi si, paagal si ladki. Pata nhin mein usse pyaar kyun karta hoon.
He leaned towards her, his face so close to hers when suddenly someone coughed.
They turned to the door to see pooja, Ali, Huda, Aalekh and Yudi standing there, facing the opposite direction. It was Pooja who had coughed.
Pooja- who sir… class ka time ho raha hai. Agar aap chaahe to hum chale jaate hai…
Raj and naina looked very embaressed.
Raj- err…. Nahin nahin. Please come in.
The class started when all the cadets had come. Raj kept a surprise test, which all the cadets did badly in. Raj corrected the papers in a matter of minuites and gave them back.
Raj- I am very diappoionted with your marks. Considering that your exams are fast approaching, I expected you'll to be better versed in the subject. Cadet Ali Baig has topped
With 44/50. Please buck up, cadets.
Raj distributed the papers. Naina's had a huge note attached to it. Forgetting all about the marks, she started reading the note.
