Chapter 21

Thanx a lot guys for your encouraging responses and PM's! I have really felt great! My trip to Bombay has been superb and now I am all geared to entertain you with my updates. My school reopens on Wednesday so my updates might be delayed. Even this update is very short but I had no choice- preparations for school, homework of extra classes…. This was all I could do. I will try to update small parts as often as I can instead of long parts with lots of delay. I hope you understand! But please please keep commenting and reading!

     PART 21

   The note read as: 
  

 Naina, 
              Aaj raat tum mujhe Academy ki gate par milo. 1930 hours. 
              Tumhari "date" ke liye jaa rahe hai. Wear some party 
              formals. Aaj BC nahin hai academy mein to hume zyaada 
              dar nahin. Hope you enjoy it!

             P.S: Don't you want to become best cadet? I thought you 
              wanted to but you sure are not working towards it. 40/50? 
              C'mon, buck up! Exams are nearing so start studying now!

Naina's heart was skipping! She felt like singing, dancing, shouting! Her long awaited date was finally happening. Pooja was telling her something but her voice seemed too distant to be heard. Suddenly Pooja pushed her and this brought her back to reality.

Naina (angrily)- Kya?
ooja- Oye too behri ho gayi hai kya? Tera signal kahan ghoom gaya hai? Hum sab kabse tujhe pooch rahe hai ki tujhe kitne marks mile. Par too to jawab hi nahin deti hai.
Naina- Who mujhe 40/50 mile.
Pooja- Mujhse to acche hi mile. Mujhe to 33 mila. Aur Huda aur Aalekh ko 39. Aur apne Yudiye ko tere jaisa 40.
Naina (glancing at the note distractedly)- haan… good na….
Pooja- Oye tera signal kahan kho jaata hai? Kaunse khayalon mein hai tu?
Huda- Oye Punjaban, shayad tone nahin dekha ki test paper ke saath saath ek note bhi attached hai.
And before Naina realized what was happening Huda grabbed the note and read it out loud. Naina was feeling extremely embarrassed and was blushing a lot. Everyone started giggling. She just grabbed the note and ran to her room. But soon, to her surprise she was joined by Pooja, who had stopped laughing. She came to Naina and looked at her closely.
Pooja- Peheli date ka excitement kaisa hota hai yeh mein jaanti hoon. Tujhe mein aise sawaroongi ki capt. Sir tujhe dekhte hi reh jaayege!

And as Naina got ready, she realized that Pooja's words would soon turn into reality.
