"Yes you did" He answered with a soft smile & a heavy voice. He was relieved to see that it was just her & thankfully no one else.
"U know what Major I knew it, I just knew ki chahe kuch bhi ho jaaye nothing will stop Major Rajveer Singh Shekhawat from being here"
Rajveer just returned a halfhearted smile in answer.
Yes….it was him. Rajveer. Even he wanted to be a part of Naina's success ceremony. He had no doubts regarding Naina winning the best cadet trophy.
Rajveer was now Major Rajveer Singh Shekhawat. After his success in his Mission KMA he was promoted. 
"Raj, won't you meet her"
"Nahin"
"To phir yahan aane ka matlab kya banta hai"
"Abhi to aapne kaha ki aaj mujhe yahan aane se koi nahin rok sakta tha…mujhe to aana hi tha na Shalini…. for one last time in KMA. Aur ab mujhe jaana bhi hoga before anyone else sees me here."
"Itni jaldi"
"Haan……. Kuch zaroori kaam beech mein chod ke aaya hoon……..but I need a favor from you."
"Sure Raj, just tell me"
Raj took out a small box neatly gift-wrapped. 
"Yeh Naina ko de dena. It's for her but not from me. Tell her it's from you"
"But Raj……..Okay fine.I'll do it. Don't worry"
"Thanks Shalini, you are a sweetheart" Raj hugged her. It was time for him to leave. "Bye Shalini. U take care"
"U too Major"
He saw Naina for one last time & left.

"Ma'am may I come in" Naina asked Shalini as she stood outside infirmary. Shalini had called her.
"Please come in Naina"
"Ma'am aapne mujhe bulaya tha"
"Of course"
"First of all Naina, congratulations. You know what mujhe to pehle se hi pata tha ki is batch ki best cadet tum hi banogi"
"Thanks Ma'am"
"Oh c'mon Naina…..itne special occasion pe sirf congratulations aur thanks se kaam nahin chalta"
"Matlab"
"Matlab kya…. Naina itni badi achievement ki khushi mein ek choti si treat to kam se kam milni hi chahiye na"
"Sure ma'am, just tell me kab aur kahan"
"Hmmmm… yeh hui na baat. Well yeh tum decide karlo baaki sab ke saath & inform me."
"Okay ma'am. Done"
"Good then. Yeh lo."
"Yeh kya hai Ma'am"
"Obviously gift hai Cadet Singh………Oops I mean Lt. Singh"
"But ma'am yeh main kaise le sakti hoon"
"Very simple Naina" saying this she took Naina's hand & placed the box over it "Aise…..ab jaldi se isko kholo & tell me tumhe yeh kaisa laga"
Naina opened the gift somewhat reluctantly. It had a very small but pretty diamond pendant.
"Ma'am its very beautiful but yeh to expensive lagta hai"
"Naina gifts are always priceless".
Shalini took out that pendant and placed it around Naina's neck. It looked all the more beautiful on her.
"Wow Naina this suits you as if it is made specially for you…."
"….You know what, tum ise hamesha pehen ke rekhna. Don't forget is gift mein kisi ki best wishes hain. Who knows it might just get lucky for you, just like a good luck charm"

"Dr. Shalini" someone called her out.
Naina was alone in that room thinking about what Shalini just said. She really wanted it to work as a good luck charm for her. She had a wish in her heart that she wanted to come true. And for that she definitely needed lot of luck working for her. She held that pendant in her hand tightly, her eyes were closed & that wish just came on her lips as a soft whisper.
"I don't want to see him again in my life…never ever"
That was the only thing she wanted.
