"Rey, you're not fooling us, right? You've indeed called her here?" Sharon asked Rey.
From the day Rey informed Swayam and Sharon about Taani, they wanted to meet her. He had arranged for a dinner meeting at his place. Taani hadn't yet showed up. Sharon still had her doubts. She wasn't going to be completely convinced until she met Taani.
"Waise, what is your relation called?" She wondered.
"Fiancée, right?" Swayam asked.
"Nahi. Fiancé is after engagement. Roke ke baad kya bulate hai?" She asked Rey.
"Meko kya pata." He raised his shoulders carelessly.
"Arre? What kind of a.. dash are you?"
Rey and Swayam laughed at her choice of words.
"Don't laugh. We need to establish a term."
"Usse meri girlfriend hi samajh le." Rey suggested.
"For that you two should be dating." Sharon discarded his suggestion.
"He has skipped the dating step and has directly gone to marriage." Swayam chuckled making Rey roll his eyes at him.
Just then the door bell rang and Rey went to open it.
"Hi." He greeted Taani.
"Sorry I'm late, voh thoda traffic tha."
"Oh, that's fine. Waise tumne ignition se key toh nikali na?" He teased her.
"Yeah!" She showed him the key smiling at him.
"Dinner kya darwaze pe karne wale ho?" Sharon taunted.
"Come on in." Rey closed the door behind her.
They walked in and met Sharon and Swayam in the living room.
"Why did you call her?" Sharon pointed at Taani.
"I thought you wanted to meet her." Rey maintained a straight face.
"Not her. I wanted to meet your.."
"Girlfriend?" Swayam completed for Sharon.
"That is not established as yet!" Sharon pointed a finger at Swayam and then glared at Rey.
Taani stood there dumbfounded wondering what was going on around her.
"Let me officially introduce you guys to Taani. Yeh wahi hai jiske saath mera roka hua hai. Aur Taani, yeh hai Sharon and Swayam, my best friends." Rey introduced them to one another.
"Rey yeh kya bakwaas hai? Tu isse kal ice cream parlour mein mila tha na?" Sharon was still confused.
"And here I thought you were smart. But I guess I was wrong." Rey shook his head at her.
It was then that Sharon realised that Rey was messing around with her.
"You asshole! Couldn't you just introduce us yesterday?" Sharon grabbed a pillow from the couch and threw it at Rey.
"How could I miss the opportunity of messing around with you?" He smirked dodging the pillow.
She glared at him and walked forward to introduce herself to Taani.
"Hi I'm Sharon, unfortunately iss gadhe ki best friend." She forwarded her hand to Taani.
Taani giggled at her comment and shook her hand.
"Also, I'm sorry for lashing out on you yesterday. Technically it was his fault, so blame him." Sharon pointed at Rey.
"It's okay. Mujhe bura nahi laga tha." Taani smiled at her.
"Now do you understand why I was against introducing you to them in public?" Rey gave a knowing look to Taani, making her laugh.
...
"So Taani, tum karti kya ho?" Swayam asked Taani once they all settled down.
"Interior designing padh rahi hoon." She replied hoping that his friends knew that she was still in college. Last thing she wanted was to be judged as a gold digger.
"Yeh pata hai, par tum kya practice karti ho? I mean kis level ka magic karti ho yaar?" He asked again.
"Main kuch samjhi nahi."
"Tumne Rey se haan kaise bulwa li?" He asked astonished.
"Do they feel ki maine unke friend ko fasaya hai?" She was worried.
"Maine aisa kuch nahi kiya." She replied softly fidgeting with her fingers.
"Taani, tum inki baaton ko seriously mat lo. Bakwas karne ki aadat hai dono ko." Rey quickly interrupted to avoid her from misinterpreting his friends.
"Main bakwas nahi kar raha. I'm preparing her. Bohot log tumse aake yeh question puchne wale hai." Swayam chuckled.
Taani breathed a sigh of relief on learning that Swayam was just pulling her leg.
"Aap aise kyu.."
"Wait a second, aap?" Swayam asked interrupting her, making Rey laugh.
Taani looked at a horrified Swayam, then at a laughing Rey and then back at Swayam and smiled weakly.
"Tum aise kyu bol rahe the ki sab yahi question karne wale hai?" Taani rephrased.
"Better!" Swayam smiled at her.
"I'll explain," said Sharon. "I'm not sure if you've had the conversation yet, but Rey has never had a girlfriend. You have no idea how many times all of us have tried to set him up with someone, but it never worked out. So now when this news will reach everyone, sab aake tumse yahi question karne wale hai!"
"Are you serious?" Taani was surprised to learn that Rey never had any girl in his life.
"Why are you so surprised? Do I look like a Casanova to you?" Rey asked Taani.
"No. But when I met you back then, I thought you would be dating someone."
"Really? Is that why you didn't make a move on me?" Rey teased.
"Honestly, I was thankful that you didn't make any." Taani replied.
"Wait a minute, you thought that he was dating someone when his alliance came for you?" Sharon was confused after hearing them.
"Did I not tell you?" Rey gave a sly smile.
"What?" Sharon squinted at Rey.
"That I met her three years ago on the day of our graduation party!"
"Tum itne kaise bheeg gaye?" Tanya asked a drenched Shivam.
"Yeh stupid baarish ki wajah se jo November tak chal rahi hai. Office se car tak pahuchne mein meri yeh halath ho gayi." He replied shivering.
"Baarish kam hone ka wait nahi kar sakte the?" She scolded him. "Abh jao change karlo, warna sardi lag jayegi."
"Haan." He went to his room to change into dry clothes.
"Taani abhi tak college se nahi aayi?" Shivam inquired when he didn't see Taani at dinner.
"Usne tumhe bataya nahi tha?"
"Kya?"
"Ki voh Rey ke ghar jaane wali hai. Uske friends ko milna tha uss se."
"Kab tak wapas aayegi, pata hai?"
"Bachchi nahi hai voh, aajayegi." Tanya told him.
She wanted Shivam to stop treating Taani as a kid. Taani had stepped into a relationship and she wanted Shivam to support her and not rebuke her for the little things like he always did.
"Mom aap galath samajh rahi ho. Baarish bohot ho rahi hai. Iss liye main thoda worried hoon."
"Voh shayad abhi pahuchi hogi wahan. Aur baarish toh thodi der mein ruk jayegi."
"Hopefully. Aapko toh pata hai usse thunderstorm se kitna darr lagta hai."
"Voh akeli drive karlegi na?" Tanya was worried now.
"I hope it doesn't come to that and it stops raining."
"Do you have any siblings?" Sharon inquired Taani, once they sat for dinner.
"Yup, an elder brother." She replied.
"Is he like protective towards you?" Sharon had a glint of mischief laced in her voice.
"Yeah, he is." She answered wondering where this was leading to.
"All the best Rey." Sharon smirked at him.
"Taani, just make sure that Shivam doesn't get acquainted with this devil." Rey told Taani referring to Sharon.
"She is so sweet, tum aise kyu bol rahe ho?" Taani defended her.
"Rey, I really like her." Sharon grinned.
"That's good. But you can't do anything about it as you are committed to him." Rey pointed at Swayam.
"You're a moron!" Sharon scowled at Rey.
Taani widened her eyes as she realized what Rey meant and tried best not to gawk at him.
"Dekh lo kis cheez se tumhara pala pad raha hai. Abhi bhi time hai, kat lo!" Swayam told Taani making her laugh.
"Kat lo? Tum log normal Hindi mein baat kyu nahi karte?" Taani asked, still laughing.
"Tum Mumbai se nahi ho?" Swayam asked her surprised by her question.
"Nahi. Jodhpur se hoon. Teen saal pehle Mumbai shift hui thi." Taani answered.
"Toh abh wahan kaun rehta hai?" Rey asked. He realized he knew nothing about her family except for her immediate ones.
"Koi nahi. In fact, we sold our house after moving here."
"Toh tumhari baaki family kahan hoti hai?" He further asked.
"Papa ki side ki family ne koi contact rakha nahi after he passed away, but I know they live in Jaipur and a few in Udaipur. Aur meri ek maasi hai jo Banglore mein rehti hai. That's the only family I know of." Taani smiled weakly at Rey.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to pry." Rey quickly apologized on seeing the hint of sadness in her eyes. She gave a quick smile for his concern.
"Waise Rey tune AB aur Muskaan ko bataya?" Sharon asked to change the topic.
"AB?" Taani asked.
"Armaan bhai. I have a different bond with him, toh unhe bhai bulana weird lagta hai. Hence, AB!" Sharon explained.
"Bhai toh roke ke next day hi aagaye the. So, he knows. And Muski ko pata chal hi jayega as Maa and Paa gaye hai milne usse." Rey told Sharon.
"Wow, how did I not realise that his parents weren't home?" Taani wondered.
"Is AB coming back?" Sharon asked enthusiastically.
"I don't know, tu khud hi puch le." Rey replied nonchalantly.
"Yeh wahi hai jo Melbourne mein hote hai?" Taani asked.
"Yup!" Sharon answered instead of Rey. "You have to meet him. I guarantee you that you'll love him."
"Good luck saving your girlfriend from your own brother." Swayam chuckled.
Taani felt jitters on hearing Swayam refer to her as Rey's girlfriend.
...
After dinner, they all settled in the backyard as the downpour had reduced to a light drizzle. By now Taani had started to get comfortable around Sharon and Swayam. Her initial doubts about Rey and Sharon's bond were ruled out on seeing their camaraderie. Moreover, she felt a weird satisfaction on learning that Sharon was committed to Swayam.
"So, tell me Marine Drive or Worli sea face?" Sharon asked Taani.
"Marine Drive." Taani said after a thought.
"Have you never been to Worli?" Rey asked her.
"I have, a couple of times, but it's a little deserted. Aur Marines pe voh jo Queen's necklace ka view milta hai, I feel that is better than Worli."
"Completely opposite." Sharon commented.
"Sorry?" Taani was confused.
"You and him, completely opposite!" Sharon pointed at Rey.
Taani looked at Rey wondering what Sharon meant.
"See, Marines pe view accha hai and all I agree, but I prefer Worli as it's less crowded." Rey explained.
"And the road is always clear." Swayam added.
"Exactly. Itna sukoon milta hai wahan drive karte waqt." Rey said with a gloomy smile.
"Are you always on the road?" Taani asked him.
"Pretty much." He agreed.
A blinding white light flashed across their eyes followed by a loud thundering noise. The suddenness of it made Taani scream.
"You alright?" Rey asked her.
She nodded but jumped right up at the next rumble.
"I think we should move in." Rey announced after seeing Taani's scared face.
"I'm sorry. It's just that I'm a little scared of lightning." Taani spoke once they were inside the house.
"Little? Your scream almost turned me deaf." Sharon massaged her ear.
Another round of lightning and thunder caused Taani to shut her eyes close. Rey noticed this and made her sit. He sat next to her and hesitated to wrap his arms around her shoulder. But, after seeing her shiver due to the constant rumble, he let his hesitation go and comforted her.
"What's the matter?" He asked her when he felt her calm down a little.
"Once, in Jodhpur, I saw a girl get struck by lightning. Since that day I'm terrified of it." A cold shiver ran down her spine thinking of the incident. Rey rubbed her arm to comfort her.
"Rey, I think we should head to your room." Sharon suggested seeing Taani's pale face.
"That would be better." Rey agreed.
Once inside the room, all the noises from outside were blocked off. Taani stood there astounded first by the unusual silence inside the room and second by the chic appearance of it.
"Did it stop thundering?" She asked amazed.
"Nope!" Sharon opened the curtains to show that it was still lightning outside.
"Phir yahan awaaz kyu nahi aa rahi?" Taani asked.
"Voh iss liye ki room padded hai." Swayam said with a sly smile.
"Padded room?" Taani caught his smile and cocked her brows at Rey.
"What is that look supposed to mean?" He asked her.
"Oh, come on Rey, she wants to know why do you have a sound proof padded room?" Swayam gave him a smug look.
Sharon smirked while Taani widened her eyes at Swayam's implication.
"Seriously?" Rey looked at her in disbelief.
"He said it." Taani pointed at Swayam feeling embarrassed for her thoughts.
"Room sound proof karwake li hai maine as I am a very light sleeper. Even the faintest of the sounds can wake me up. And unfortunately, I live in Mumbai where the roads are never quiet and there is a road right outside my window. Abh road toh band karwa nahi sakta, toh room sound proof bana di." Rey explained.
"This is what he claims to be true, but we refuse to believe it." Swayam was having fun pulling his legs.
"Why so?" Rey sneered.
"For the last two years, we were in New York. And I don't recall that room to be padded." He pointed out.
"That was because we stayed on the outskirts of New York, where it was quiet." Rey reminded him.
Swayam received a message and immediately cursed on reading it.
"It's already 10:30! I forgot about the con call. I'll be back guys." Swayam ran to the study to join the conference call.
"Is it 10:30?" Taani asked and Rey nodded. "I should leave. Ghar pahuchne tak gyara baj jayenge."
"Will you be able to drive in this weather?" Rey asked her.
"Yeah." She didn't even try to sound convincing.
"Chalo, I'll drop you home."
"Baarish hui nahi ki paani bhar jaata hai yahan. Aur yeh log ek hi footage kitni baar dikhate hai?" Shivam cursed while surfing through the news channels.
"Tum itne kyu chid rahe ho? Yeh koi nayi baat thodi hai." Tanya asked him to calm down.
"Thank god I left and didn't wait for the rain to stop. Warna office mein hi rukna padta raat bhar." He finally settled on one channel which seemed to be updating about the current situation.
"Tracks par paani bharne ke kaaran, trains band hogayi hai. Iske wajah se bohot se log stations par atak gaye hai. Aur kuch log trains mein fase huye hai. Local trains jo Mumbai ki lifeline hai voh ekdum thap ho chuki hai iss achanak hui baarish ke kaaran." The reporter announced.
"Waise Taani wahan se nikli?" Shivam asked Tanya muting the TV.
"Usne mujhse kaha tha ki nikalte waqt call karegi. No call yet." Tanya told him.
"Usko call karke bolta hoon ki cab book karle, as I don't trust her driving, especially in this rain."
"Paani bhara hoga toh?" Tanya expressed her concern.
"Highway pe kahan bharta hai? Aur yeh track pe bhi kuch areas mein hi bhara hai. Yeh news wale aise bata rahe hai jaise trains completely band ho gayi hai." Shivam rolled his eyes at the same clip of water logging which was being shown in the news.
"But still, why risk? Usse aaj raat Rey ke ghar hi rukne do. Kal subah tak sab normal hojayega."
"Voh akeli, uske ghar?" Shivam looked wide eyed at her.
"Uska ghar kaafi bada hai. I'm sure spare rooms honge." Tanya shook her head at him.
"I still feel ki baarish thodi der mein ruk jayegi. So, she can come back then."
"Tum usse phone lagao. Main baat karti hoon." She instructed him.
"Okay mumma, theek hai. Yeah, I'll call you then. Bye." Taani disconnected the call.
"Kya hua?" Rey asked her.
"Mumma ka phone tha. Voh bata rahi thi ki bohot jagah water logging hua hai. And she asked me to stay here." She replied playing with her phone.
"She's right. It's better to stay indoors. Baarish abhi bhi ho rahi hai aur high tide ka time hai, you never know kab kahan kitna paani bhar jaye." He reasoned to let the awkwardness not creep in.
"Tum dono abhi tak yahin pe ho?" Sharon spotted them still standing at the main door.
"Yeah, she's staying over." Rey informed her.
"Great! Movie night!" Sharon exclaimed.
"Nooo." Rey pleaded.
"Kal Sunday hai, which means no office. So, don't even try to make an excuse!" Sharon glared at him.
Sharon opened a drawer which contained a lot of DVDs. She pulled Taani along with her.
"Which one?" She asked Taani.
"Go Goa Gone?" Taani picked it up.
"Weather se phati hui hai, par Zom-Com dekhni hai!" Rey mentally rolled his eyes at the irony.
"Mere room mein, so that I can kick you guys out when I feel sleepy." Rey pulled the DVD from Taani's hand and headed for his room.
Taani and Sharon followed him. By the time they were past the opening titles, Swayam too joined them. He sat alongside them with a sullen face.
"Teko kya hua?" Rey asked him.
"Bhai ki daant. He had asked me to research about some stuff and provide him with certain information, which I completely forgot to do." He said with a sullen face.
"Call ke beech daanta?" Rey asked him.
"Yeah."
"Ooo.. that explains the face. Hard luck bro." Rey said with a light smile lingering on his lips.
"Can you guys shut up? I wanna see the movie!" Sharon shut them up.
...
Seeing the constant bickering of the trio, Taani was reminded of her friends, Arjun and Purvi. She could relate to the bond that Rey shared with Sharon and Swayam. She was surprised that within just a few hours she had managed to befriend them. Apart from them, she was amazed with her changing status with Rey. Till the time she stepped into his house, he was just a friend whom she would probably marry. But now, she felt him growing on her. She wanted to have a relation with him. If just as a friend he was being this protective towards her, she wanted to experience how he would be, if they eventually tied the knot.
...
By the time the movie ended, it was late. The downpour had stopped by then, but it was thundering now and then. Taani was grateful of her mother who had asked her to stay back. If she had left, she would have been stuck in her car in the middle of nowhere. Rey switched off the TV and woke Swayam up, who had fallen asleep on the chair.
"Get out. I'm sleepy." Rey announced.
"Guest room open hai na?" Swayam asked stifling a yawn.
"Haan kyun?" Rey furrowed his brows.
"You aren't expecting us to leave, are you?" Sharon sneered at him.
"You guys stay next door!" Rey mocked.
"It's still drizzling. And I am in no way stepping out." Sharon stated.
"So how are we going to solve the sleeping situation?" Rey asked.
"We both will take the guest room, you and Taani sleep here." Swayam said lazily. He just wanted to hit the bed.
Rey looked at Taani and saw the discomfort on her face.
"Sharon, tum aur Taani guest room mein kyun nahi sote?" Rey suggested.
"Sure." Sharon rolled her eyes at him and left with Taani.
Rey woke up hearing the knock on his door. He opened it and saw a sleepy Sharon standing outside.
"Before you start yelling at me for spoiling your sleep, let me tell you that this is important." She said as soon as he opened the door.
"Kya hua?" He became attentive due to her tone.
"Well, it started lightning and thundering again and that poor thing is shivering there. The curtains nor the ear plugs seem to be working on her. Do something." Sharon informed him about Taani's condition.
"Wake him up and take him to the guest room." He pointed at Swayam and moved to the guest room.
On reaching there, he saw Taani cocooned in the blanket. He went inside and sat beside her on the bed. He gently nudged her asking her to open her eyes, which were shut tightly. She heard him and sat up.
"You won't be able to sleep here. Chalo."
"Kahan?" She asked.
"Mere room mein."
"No, it's fine. I can manage here." She told him.
"Dikh raha hai." He mocked.
"Seriously, I can. Ghar pe bhi I somehow manage to sleep."
"How?" He asked bewildered.
"Main mumma ke saath so jaati hoon."
"Unfortunately, yahan pe tumhari mumma nahi aa sakti. So please, meri baat suno. Mere room mein chalo. You won't hear a thing from outside and will be able to sleep peacefully. Don't struggle here and take the easy option. Come with me." He forwarded his hand.
She hesitantly placed her hand in his and followed him to his room.
"See, I told you, it will be quiet here." He said once inside his room. "Abhi so jao."
"Kahan?" She managed to ask.
"Bed pe Taani." He stated and got onto his side of the bed.
She circled the bed to reach the other side and got in as well. She wasn't comfortable sleeping with him just a couple of inches from her. She glanced towards him and found him sleeping peacefully. She kept tossing and turning, trying to get the weirdness out of her system.
"Comfortable nahi ho toh bol sakti ho." He startled her.
She shut her eyes close due to embarrassment as she realized that he couldn't sleep due to her continuous tossing and turning.
"Sorry." She finally said when she saw him sitting up.
"What's the matter? Tum jab tak bataogi nahi, meko samjhega kaise?"
"It's nothing." She got up and sat next to him.
"If it was nothing, tum abhi so rahi hoti. And I know it's not the weather, so what is it?"
"It's you and I on the same bed." She said after a long pause.
He chuckled at her response and just wanted to hug her. He was surprised by his own thoughts. He looked at Taani and his chuckle turned into a full-fledged bout of laughter. She looked at him nervously and wondered what made him laugh.
"I'm sorry." He quickly apologized on seeing her get uncomfortable. "It's just that chick-flicks have ruined everything."
She squinted at him trying to understand what he meant.
"Why were you so uncomfortable to sleep on the same bed with me?" He asked.
"I don't know." She answered.
"I'll tell you why. When I asked you to sleep with me on the same bed, you immediately presumed of a bizarre situation which might happen between us. That we might end up entangled in the morning. Isn't it?" She nodded lightly. He continued. "Now tell me why did you think of it? Rather, what made you think of it?" He smiled as he saw the knowing look on her face.
"Chick-flicks!" She smiled back at him. They were sharing the bed to sleep and this was a real-life situation. Nothing fictional was going to happen.
...
The next morning Taani woke up to a quiet and empty, unfamiliar room. She recalled the happenings of the previous day and realized that she was in Rey's room. A light smile brushed her lips. She looked around herself and was amused by the appearance of the room. She hadn't fully appreciated the room the previous night. It had all the elements one would find in a typical boy's room, yet it was well organized. Everything looked like it belonged in its place. She was surprised at how well the interior was designed to meet to his taste. Stretching her body, she got out of bed and freshened up. Looking one last time at the bed, she got out of his room and smiled thinking of his concern towards her. She saw Rey and Sharon sitting in the kitchen and decided to go downstairs to join them.
"And last night you were in my room. Now my bedsheets smell like you. Everyday discovering something brand new. I'm mmmmm.." Rey was humming.
"Arre, zor se gaaon na. Usse bhi toh pata chale." Sharon smirked at him.
"Kisse?" Rey asked.
"Taani ko."
Taani stopped at her place when she heard her name. She climbed up a few steps where they wouldn't notice her, but she could listen to their conversation.
"Shut up Sharon."
"Why? Are you not in love with the shape of..well, her?" She giggled.
He glared at her and she composed herself.
"Okay, not in love, but kinda falling in love?" She rephrased.
"I hardly know her. Pyaar bohot durr ki baat hai."
"Accha? Toh phir iss happy mood ka reason kya hai? Kal raat aisa kya hua?" She smirked.
He looked at her and gave a fake smile.
"Bata na." She nudged.
"Just shut up and eat. Khana thanda ho gaya toh phir tu meko hi blame karegi!"
"Tu topic mat change kar. I've never seen you like this. Agar yeh improvement Taani ki wajah se hai toh good going." Sharon genuinely smiled at him.
"Good morning Taani." They heard Swayam greet Taani and saw them coming down.
"What was all that about? Love? Improvement? Is he falling..? Nai nai, he just denied it. Why did I not like that? Am I falling..? No! How can that be possible? I don't even know him!" Shrugging off her thoughts, she joined everyone downstairs.
"Morning." Rey greeted.
"Tum dono itni subah kaise uth gaye?" Swayam asked rubbing his sleepy eyes.
"Subah? Dude it's ten!" Rey rolled his eyes at Swayam.
"Oh." He gave a sheepish smile. "So, what's for breakfast?"
"Maggi." Rey stated.
"I thought you would make pasta." Taani complained.
She was surprised at herself. When did she get this comfortable around him, she wondered.
Sharon smirked at Rey after hearing Taani and said, "sorry sweetheart, but your boyfriend is way too lazy. Toh aaj Maggi se kaam chala lo."
"Aye hello, kaam chala lo matlab? Maagi banane mein bhi technique lagti hai." Rey sneered.
"Sahi kahan. Paani ko perfect temperature pe lana padta hai before adding the readymade masala and the pre-made noodles." Taani mocked.
"Madam, abh kahan gayi tumhari awkwardness?" Rey asked.
"Kal ke storm ke saath chali gayi." Taani bit her lip to hide her smile.
"Accha? Toh abhi tum apna talent dikhao. Maine coffee nahi banayi hai. Tum hum sab ke liye bana do." He sweetly smiled at her.
"Sure." She agreed.
"Why can't you make it?" Sharon asked.
"Because I want her to make it. And why don't you join her as well." He suggested.
"Kyun?"
"Usse help ho jayegi aur coffee jaldi ban bhi jayegi." Rey pushed them into the kitchen.
"Rey, voh kya tha?" Swayam asked once the girls left.
"If we both want to survive in this relation, we both will have to start behaving normally around each other. Bohot awkwardness ho gayi. It's time for her to know the real me."
"Na beta na, aise seedhe real self pe mat ja. Do din mein bhaag jayegi." Swayam chuckled.
"Aye, aisa kya haan? I'm good yaar."
"Too good, in fact!"
"Well, it comes naturally to me!"
"Nautanki saala!"
Hello everyone
Firstly, I apologize for updating late. I had a lot going on in November and by the end of the month, I fell sick. Still recovering from it.
I want to dedicate this update to the "November Rains" which have become a thing in Mumbai since the last couple of years. I was once stuck due to the water logging caused by them. Sadly, due to my bad luck I didn't find a guy to spend time with.
Acche din abhi tak nahi aaye humare!
Coming to the question of the update. I mentioned about Mumbai's November rains; what is one such unique/strange observation about the place where you live?
