Part 17

She walked out of the bathroom, and walked over slowly to anjali and aaliya , feeling someone's gaze on her , watching her very step, she knew it was him, but she wasn't going to look, the best thing was to avoid and ignore. Aa- kripa where were you, we were looking for you, K- oh I umm went to the bathroom. Aa- oh okay we were waiting for , come on let's get something to eat, kripa nodded and followed the two.

The food was set on a table, going two ways, it was a buffet filled with many dishes , aaliya, anjali, and kripa got in line from one side, while Prithivi , jay and angad went from the other side. Kripa was opposite angad , and she knew it and did not look up to his teasing looks. Kripa went to go pick up the spoon for the chicken , when angad grabbed her hand on the pretense of grabbing the spoon, he rubbed her hand and then looked up letting go, A- sorry he said with mischief in his eyes.

Kripa just ignored and moved on in the line, why was he doing this kripa thought to herself. The rest of the night they enjoyed themselves except for kripa who was in deep thought , on why angad was being so rude to her, what did she spoil of his, nothing than why , maybe she should confront him and this time get things sorted out or she could just ignore him, what was she to do?

Kripa went with anjali and jay since her stuff was at anjali's place, kripa collected her things, jay offered to drop her. They reached the Khanna house , kripa got out and turned to say thanks to jay, K- thanks for dropping me, J- it was my pleasure, K- well bye and she turned to leave when jay called her name from behind.

Jay walked up to her , J- kripa I have something to say, K- what is she said with a smile, J- Kripa I , umm I don't know how to say it , K- what's the matter is anything wrong no it just, when he did the unpredictable, he kissed her on the cheek and left in his car, kripa just stood there stunned touching her cheek, she shook herself , and walked to the porch when about to enter the house , when she heard him…..

A- looks like some one's got her self an admirer, kripa couldn't see his face until he lit his lighter, he was leaning on the wall lighting a cigarette, kripa just ignored and walked in leaving angad behind smirking. Angad had been waiting for her, he didn't know why but he did. He finished smoking his cigarette and through it on the floor and went inside.


The next morning kripa felt very tired and lazy, she wanted to stay in bed and just sleep, she hadn't slept that much last night she had been thinking about what was happening between her and angad and decided to talk to him and see what was up, why he was acting like a big jerk. She freshen up to meet him, but found out he had left.

Kripa didn't do much in the day , she spoke to prachi for a couple of hours, she had told her about angad, prachi told her not to worry and that everything would be fine , K- I hope so she said to prachi, K- okay I better go okay, bye miss you and she hung up. she got up and took a nap , feeling a bit low as she was missing her family again, she always did whenever she would speak to them.


Kripa woke up, and realized her room was dark, she got and noticed it was night, wow she must have been really tired, she got up to see if Angad was home to talk, she left her room and noticed everyone was already in their room asleep ,she went down and noticed they had left her dinner for , but she wasn't hungry yet , she looked to see if angad was downstairs , but he wasn't there, she went outside , he normally was there but yet he wasn't there either.

Maybe he was in his room , she thought , she walked up and noticed his door was open , the light was off, she went in turning the light on and checked when she jumped hearing a voice from behind her……

V- Looking for me, she turned to find angad , K- yeh, A- wow this is a first, tell me what do want hun, K- angad I just want to know what did I do wrong, A- why you wanna be my friend again, K-I just don't get it angad why are you being mean to me, I never did anything to hurt you, If I did I'm sorry , but please can you tell me what I did wrong , because as days go by your turning into a big jerk and especially yester I was very disgusted by you behavior , your not the angad I used to be friends with

A- are you done with your lecture kripa Sharma he said mockingly , he moved towards her closing the door behind him, A- kripa everyone isn't made to please everyone, so I suggest you go run off with jay or some one who more decent then me right , don't waist you hun, now get out, K- Angad why are

A- why am I what he said grabbing her hand bring her closer to him, A- huh what , K- this is what I'm talking about, why are you doing this , Angad was about to say something when his cell rang . A- hello, oh hey tina darling how are you babes, tonight yeh sure sweety I can make it anything for you hun, alright see you in a couples of minutes , bye and he cut the phone while kripa just looked at him disgustedly

A- where were we now , oh yeh you were giving me a stupid lecture and I told you to just shut up and keep your lectures to yourself and get out right now go, K- I would if you would leave me , angad let go of her hand , A- now go, K- I don't know why I even tried , just go to hell angad I hate you, she said running out of the room.

She went into the room, she didn't want to live in the Khanna house anymore not with him around , she wanted to go back to nanital where her family was ,she went to bed crying again, she had been doing that a lot ever since angad had changed he had made her cry a lot, what kind of friend was he or wait he wasn't she reminded herself, from now on she was to ignore him she told herself.

The next morning she got a surprised call from her parent with some very good news, K- WHAT PAPA, are you serious oh please come soon, okay bye I love you and mum, she put she phone down smiling, she had just heard the best new in her life , her parents were moving to Canada, she smiled and thanked god for listening to her yesterday , she wouldn't have to leave in this house for long, only a week and she would be gone and wouldn't have to see angad.


Kripa and aaliya were talking about her parents, Aa- oh but I'm going to miss you around here it was kind of like having a sister I never had, before kripa could say something Angad walked in, A- finally she's going, kripa just ignored him and pretended she didn't even see him enter, K- aww aaliya I'll still be around you can come to my house and visit me, Aa- of course, but it'll be quite without you don't you think bro, A- no I'm glad she's moving about time ,Aa- what's gotten into you, why are you being so mean, Aa- anyway do you have something to tell me missy that maybe happened last night.

Kripa just looked at her confused , K- what do you mean, Aa- oh don't hide it from me , I saw it when I was doing my curtains, I know jay kissed you on the cheek, angad who was watching tv listened carefully to the two, K- oh she said blushing, Aa- oh your blushing , Kripa blushed again while angad clenched his teeth, A- so looks like miss kripa found herself an admirer, Aa- might I add a very cute and charming admirer, K- yeh he is sweet , Aa- ooohh looks like some one is starting to, angad cut aaliya before she could finish, A- where's the remote, Aa- huh, it's next to you , idiot, A- whatever shut up and he turned the tv off and got up leaving the room.

While kripa and aaliya continued to talk, kripa was up late that night very excited for her parents to come and then she could leave, kripa was thirsty and went into the kitchen to get a drink , she noticed angad was watching tv, they both looked at each awkwardly kripa just turned and went into the kitchen to get herself a drink of water and went outside with her drink , sitting down on the swing as the wind blew ,enjoying the wind she looked up on the moon and started to hum a song from hum dil de chuke sanam

She stopped taking a sip of water when she heard some one from behind her

She coughed choking on her water, when she got hold of her self , she saw Angad leaning on the door smiling , he made his way to her sitting beside her, he took the glass out of her hand , and drank from the same area where her lips made a mark, throwing the glass on the floor , he leans over to her, the wind blowing strong , he whispers in her ear, sending chills down her spin.

A- krippppaaaaa, kripa gets up , when Angad catches a hold of her dupatta bringing her back to him when she lets go of her dupatta and runs , but angad grabs her hand and pulls her , as she crashes against his chest, he placed his hand around her waist bring her closer , and begins to rub his lips on her soft skin , kripa can't take it anymore and tries to push him away.

Angad however picks her up in his strong arms , and whispers in her ear, A- Kripa I, and bam lighting strikes , kripa gets up sweating and notices she still on the swing , why was she dreaming about him ?, why was he always on her mind? When it began to rain, kripa couldn't resist and went out in the rain.

She danced around till she was soaked, she collected the cup and went in, she noticed angad wasn't around, she headed into the kitchen , without bothering ti turn the light on when she collided into someone causing her to loose balance , when a pair of arms saved her. Her eyes were closed

She opened them to see Angad's face she let go of him instantly , and placed the glass in the sink and turned to leave for her room, when she was stooped, she felt her dupatta being tugged.

She didn't even bother to turn around but pulled her dupatta hard freeing it and ran up to her room, while angad stood there with a smirk.


A week had passed , kripa avoided angad , where so did he, but they had their awkward moments , Kripa's parents had arrived and had gotten a house a street away from the khannas. Kripa adored the house , it had a terrace like her old house , and her room was near it.
They moved in and got settled, the Sharma's had invited the khanna's to dinner tonight, kripa was excited because she would see aaliya and show her around , as she hadn't seen her in a couple of days, yet she dreaded Angad coming she was hoping he didn't come.
