Nick slowly took in his surroundings... His senses coming to focus slowly..He cudnt belive what had happened and didnt understand what was happening now.... he was in a strange room .. with aching body and sujal's friend on top of him...

n-"yes i am awake.. wud u not shout please!!!"

nan- "oh yes!!! sorry i mean..OH!! u are awake!! thank god!!!"

n -"well wud u mind getting off me? i think my rib is fractured, from the way it is hurting. and where is every1, why r u here?i need to speak with my family imidiatly.. i have to tell them something imp..."

nan -"oh yes, sorry umm... yes ur 3 ribs.. ur hand and ur ankle too..it was a nasty fall u had.. after tripping over the carpet.. listen nick ...lot of things are not.. well i dotn know if i am the to tell u all this. ur sister is missing and people are looking for her and there are ..other probs too..i-"

n-"wait..wait kashish is missing?!!!!! oh god no!!! quick we have to get to every1 i have to tell them who is doing it.AWWWWCCHHH"(nick screamed when he tried to move)

nancy quickly clamped his mouth with her hand...she had not forgotten the fake nurse and the fear she had sensed. if they knew of his awakening.... they wud come right now...wait.. there a systems in hospital to tell the doc if a coma patient wakes up... it means.. they already know by know..this is badddd.

nan-"look u have to get out of here..i dont know wht u have to tell and u may not belive me, but u r not safe here. we have to get u outta here.."

Nancy opened her cell and called her associates for help. they wud come and get them outa here.
nick saw nancy talking and tried her to stop they cudnt leave yet, he had to warn others first of the real enemy.

awwwwwwwwww my back hurts!!!it hurts soo much!!!

Kashish tried to reach it and see what was wrong with it.

jake-"i wudnt advise ut o do tht."

k-"and u also wont tell me wht really is wrong with it, except for its just a scratch. i know a scratch doesnt hurt so much."

jake looked away uneasily.. kashish had been unconsious for 5 hrs and he had done his best to take care of the wounds tht stupid lawyer had inflicted on her... but her back was gonna scar and wud take time to recover....

j-"look there is nothing more u can do than wht i already did, so just forget it ok?"

k -"fine. now tell me how do we get out of this hell?"

j-" i dont know! why r u asking me?"

k-"u dont know??!!!!!!! wht hell have u been doing when i was passed out? u should have figured something!!! dmmit! to be stuck with a wimp like u of all the people to be stuck with!!!"

Kashish got up ignoring all the pain and started looking around.

J(looking angry and hurt)-"well excuse me for getting pulled into this and looking after u when u passed out. i dont know how to ever beg for ur forgiveness when i should have bee-"

k -"SHUT UP! see this is why u r a wimp. sujal wud have taken care of me AND figured a way outa here, instead of giving me lame comebacks. now gimme ur shirt i am gonna break this glass", pointing to the glass partion above the locked door.

Jake looked at Kasihhsh with disbelief. they were stuck here, she was hurt with lot of blood loss and she was praising tht lawyer!!!! how dare she!! jake thought he liked her and therefore tolerated her, but this was beyond him, he spoke to kashish menacingly, "u think tht blind bas***** can do better then me? then fine! go on. do everything without my help. i am sure u can manage without my shirt too! u ungreatful wreatch!!!!"

Kashish looked at jake incredulously, she cudnt believe tht this wimpy sissy guy wanted to fight when they were going to die, if they didnt get out of here. jake gave kashish a hard look and walked over to make shift bed, plopped there and closed his eyes in gesture of sleep. shaking her head in disbilief, kashish ripped out her own shirt. no use dying looking modest, a woman scared of socity's hypocracies...

moving several boxes and scraps over to the door kashish balanced herself and punced the glass partition.AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!
Aparently the hand padding of her shirt wasnt enough....With much dificulty and astonishingly no help from jake, kashish hauled her self to the narrow space above the door and fell on the opposite side on the door, bitting her hand to stop from screaming when she landed on the broken glass.no use dying looking unscathed, a coward...

kashish tried to open door from outside, as much as she hated jake right now, she wasnt as stupid as him-"Jake?Jake? can u hear me? i am trying to open this door but i cant!" Kashish whispered throught the door.

J-"try more!! u have to get me out of her. trying breaking it down!"

Kashish glared at the door hoping it wud reach jake. she had strength to barely stand up!!she wasnt a bull!!!

k-"Why dont u try come out the way i did? i cant break this!"

j -"its too small for me! u cant leave me to die here. they will kill me!"

Jake now sounded hysterical and Kashish knew she can do nothing to help him right now.-"Jake i'll get u out! wait here. i'll try finding keys(i.e later tell police tht u r here), u have to trust me and not panic(i.e. dont scream or we're screwed).wait for me."

with that kashish turned to go and picked up a glass piece for a weapon.no use dyng looking helpless, unimaginative.

Ashoke quickly ducked behind a vehicle as soon as he got out of his shock. what he saw and what he had been forced to suspect became one and same terrifing truth. the man who had been driving the truck with which Sujal had the accident, was here. he wasnt alone. he was here with his gangster looking sidekick, they were putting revolver inside their coats and closing the front, one was pointing in direction of nick's ward and the other towards rin's ward.

Askhoke sinha shuddered and sweated. his mind blank. how many criminals he had defended. how many crime scenes he had seen, how many corpses he had touched, nothing prepared him for this, when the doom was upon his family.

the noise brought ashoke somewhat back to his senses. he looked around for the source. it came from near the car he was hiding. his son's car. his mind assuming the worse, driven by blinding madness, ashoke banged and scrathed the back hood of car in helplesss attempt to open it.

a-"son??!! r u ok? dont worry i'lll get u out of here!!"

ashoke looked around and saw the 2 thugs heading towards rin's ward together.they r going to take care of my daughters-in-law first...

s-"dad?my keys in the car only..i forgot to lock.."

ashoke quickly went to the front popped the hood and came back to survey his son's condition, see him unhurt just tied, ashoke started unbinding him-"beta.. u have to hurry. u have to go save rin and
kaveri, i just sa-"

s -"save those traitors?!!!!! they were the one who did this to me!"

ahoke looked astounded, he couldnt believe tht his gentle daughters in law can do this. no they must have been forced-"i dont think they had really meant to do this, there must have been a reason for them to-"

s-"reason ? oh yes! i'll tell the reason dad. they hate us they love the psycho woman!! tht is the reason!!"

a-"no i dont believe tht. there has to be..."ashoke was lost for words, after all the coffee was poisoned and sujal had suspected kaveri too... maybe... ashoke looked hard at sam... maybe his son was right and he was wrong, if tht was the case then..-"alright call ur brother and keep them here, i'll bring police we cant let them escape only to hurt us again"

making their plans as they called people, ashoke left and sid was on his way, Nick was also to be taken care of...

Sid stopped talking on his cell and looked ta sujal. this was going to be hard."Sujal. listen we cant go to ur safehouses right now. we have to go take care of sam, nick, kaveri , rin and dad. sam just called, the guys u had the accident with are at hospital."

s-"what? but they were in jail for drunk driving!!!no we have to get to kahsish. she has been in danger longest."

sid-"no man! we got ot hospital first. we r needed there more. and once things are fine there we go to look for kashish together. tht way more ppl will be looking for her"

"NO!!"Sujal shook off sid's calming hand from his shoulder,i have to find kashish tht is it, nothing else matters..."kashish may die if we are late by a second, besides there is nancy there and dad and sam!"

"dad and sam need help. we dont even know whether kahsish will be where u think she is. besides.. we might.. be..be already late.."

"NO!!"sujal curled his fists, his knuckels white. he wont belive, no! not even think of this as a possibility

"yes! u have to see this logically. we might already be late for her and nancy who is blind, wont be any help but a nuisance. lets go man", sid grabbed sujal's shoulder and pushed him towards door, but
he had turned to stone, cold furious stone.

"u're right. blind person is only a nuisance. go on without me. perhaps i can prove to b a nuisance to the person trying to kill kashish.. go."

"no! i didnt mean it tht way, u r more smart to let blindness be a pro-"

"GO!! they are imp than kashish for u. Go.", without analysing any other sensation sujal whistled for juli, got out of door, hired a cab by simply running to the middle of road and gave the address of safehouse..better a blindman's and his dogs help than no help...

sid shook his head regretfully, but then perhaps this was for the best. he then himself got out in his car and sped towards the hospital.

Sid reached the hospital in rcord time. the two family men gathered outside and decided to move together towards the women's ward. there is always strength in number

sam- "we gotta stop them there only if they reach nick it might become difficult."
sid nodded and jogged towards rin's room and wht he saw completely threw him off. kaveri stood with a IV stand in her hand, rin held big scary looking injections in her hand. both ready to charge.... in defence?

Kaveri-"sid!!! thankgod u r-"

Rin-"Sam!!!!! how did u-"

sid,sam-"get out o fthe car?overthrow ur plans?"

both women looked uncomfertably at each other, both lowered thier weapons, but obviously tht is a strategy to confuse us, right? sid looked at sam, who nodded in reply(twin psychobabble).

kaveri spoke in a cautious voice, she knew how much the two men infront of her loved their family and how much they distrust them right now, "sam we did what we did in defence. u were trying to choke rin. u were angry and beyond reason. i cudnt have restrained u alone, so i had to hit u"

sam-"and hide me in the car so tht i will die unfound?"

rin-"no, so tht u can live unfound"

before sid cud analyse the truth or sam cud reply, kavery screamed and lunged towards them. her weapon raised in attack. sam jerked aside and sid tried to block by grabbing the weapon, but it was a futile attempt.

Kashish walked amonst a maze of rooms, doors and paassages. it wudnt be a maze if i wudnt be so frigging tired..oooh my back and legs hurt soooo...

Kashish came to an abrupt halt. there was light seeping out from under the door of the room in front of her. kashish looked right and recognized the mark she had already passed. she had come from left. there was wall behind, so the only way out was this door. not much of a maze now huh? kahsish mocked herself, no use dying looking unamused, scared sh*tless of her enemy....

taking a deep breath, kashish opened the door and enetered the room which held all the secrets...

voice-"Welcome child. i knew u were smart and brave enough to come here to me, where u were destined to be..."

Kashish blinked and blinked stupidly at an old lady.. she looked too familiar, she fitted sujal's death angle description too. she was smiling at her and she looked harmless as a babe. she had few wrinkles which come with old age, her skin was not blochy or yellow, it was rosy and warm, she looked lovable and adorable..Kashish sighed and sat in the chair the lady had motioned her to. i am too frigging tired. i am seeing devil's spawn as heaven's angel.

the woman spoke in a tired, papery voice which was kind, warm and loving, the voice of a mother."how are u dear? i am sorry for ur injuries. there- drink up the juice on tht table it'll make u feel better. u have to belive me, i never meant for u to get hurt."

"no, never me, only my family. u kidnapped me to keep away, far away from getting hurt" kashish looked straight at the woman and drank the juice.

the woman nodded with delighted expression as if kashish had just won nobel prize.

"yes!!! u r the most valuable one. the only one i love now, and u are so intelligent too! this is so nice. now we will have so much fun together."

Kashish emptied the glass contents and placed it on the table settling back she looked openly at the woman. Let the damm game Begin.
