CHAPTER 4

Oh yah she was free but she was now also responsible for a whole lot of things but she was happy...she had chosen this she was gonna make it through

In the beggining she didn't make many fnds. girls thought she was wired with her wired boyish clothes, n idea about makeup and her wired field of study...

But slowly she made two great frnds…shilpi and manya... they helped her with all her stuff…studies, shopping and boys but unfortunately her relatives lived in same city and if she was ever seen with one, her brothers wud show up and insist that she pack her bags and move back…so that aspect of her life didn't get much nourishing but happy she was with what she had…

S also completed his studies that year n joined Ashok Sinha's firm…following his footsteps he had become a criminal lawyer like him and he was good at it seeing the logic, thinking like a criminal, being the Perry mason of courts... winning all the cases he took with help and guidance from k's father. This sort of professional relationship forged a deep bond b/w the two and soon ashok started treating him as a son he never had and a potential heir and partner for the firm….

Sujal had tried to apologize to kashish for his behavior he asked nick for her no. but nick told him that she had strictly ordered nick to not comply to his request... so he wasn't in conatact with kashish although he did occasionally hear abt her from all the family…

Over the next 7 yrs s didn't get to meet her also he didn't have time to give her much thought b/w all the beautiful women he had to date and his profession sujal grewal loved his life he finally had everything a dad, brother, girls and great career at 31.

While k was also getting along fine she was at the top of her class, a popular girl, intelligent, bombed with good offers from hospitals, and great frnds…although she didn't feel life was complete. over the years she had realized the value of her family…she missed them and she missed having to go out on dates as firstly her folks strictly disapproved ….and secondly time management - her fellow doc, who had made it their life's mission to make her life hell, they didn't believe that forensics was for girls coz they didn't have enough nerves. so they wud play dirty tricks on her: hide bones in her locker, give her the grossest corpse to work with, make crude gender jokes,  steel her notes, change her grades, misinform her about lectures and tests but she remained undaunted and emerged a winner by working really hard. K didn't have much time for the fun stuff like going to 3 movies in a line bunking classes skipping assignments or having boyfrnds…So she grew up to be this strong quite no-nonsense girl…whom ppl thought was cold, rude, haughty and unemotional with a professional attitude towards everything..they might have been even right… for she was like this to strangers and ppl she didn't like- it was an occupational hazard: this cold detachedness and strong nerves. But inside and for her family and close frnds she was a fun loving jolly girl who loves to laze around and crack jokes. in reality she was a warm sympathetic lady of 24, with a heart of gold.
