I know, I do care what he feels. I do care what he thinks, I care! I care Mayank, I care !!!
Nupur was screaming under her breath, urging Mayank to get up.
They were in the hospital and the doctor was operating on an unconscious Mayank, the stillness of who's eyes, left Nupur devastated. She was weeping badly and she did not want to lose him. She knew it, she realized his importance. She stood outside the operation theatre, with her hands glued to the windows.
Dia was consoling her and Gunjan was calling up Mayank's mother. Samrat had reached the hospital as soon as the news reached his ears.

Mayank's mother reached the hospital, shocked at the sight of her only son in the hospital bed. She walked towards Nupur and gave her a warm hug.
The atmosphere was tense, the only sound heard was of Mayank's heavy breathing. He had not opened his eyes yet , the doctors had declared that if he does not do so within an hour, there was no hope of recovery.
"Doctor, can I meet him?", Nupur asked. "Yeah sure, and try to get him back to his senses"
Nupur walked into the hospital room where Mayank had been shifted from the operation theatre. She went beside him, knowing that his mother was looking at them through the window. She took his hands in hers and whispered to herself, "I love you Mayank Sharma, yeah I do, and I can't deny that. Please open your eyes Mayank, please"…
Mayank's hands moved a bit and Nupur screamed for the doctor…

"It is really unbelievable, but this brave lad has passed the accident unaffected", the doctor's wide smile said it all as the MJHT gang geared up for celebration. Nupur did not let Dia start the car till she saw Mayank safely go back home with his mother.

In the evening, everybody was enjoying themselves, except Nupur. She was sadly sitting in a corner, wondering if she really meant what she had whispered to herself in the hospital with Mayank.
She was still thinking to herself when Mayank came to her, "Nupur I wanted to tell you something, I , have fallen in love with you". Nupur's widened eyes shocked him and he continued," It is OK if you say no, I can understand, I don't expect a yes, so don't worry". He looked back at her to see if her expression had changed but it was still the same, "Nupur please don't look at me like that, I am sorry but atleast say SOMETHING"
Nupur was speechless. She ran towards him and wrapped her arms round him, "I love you too"……
