Chapter 6

PART 8:
After leaving those reporters aside they came inside. There were many people there. All famous, rich people of this glamorous world were present there. Many people came to meet Angad as he is one of the famous rockstar of the country. Kripa was feeling weird because since last three years she has not been to such parties. Angad saw this and kept his arm protectively around her. All the girls were going mad seeing Angad and were jealous of kripa. And while all the men could not take their eyes off kripa. Angad was use to all this but he could not tolerate anyone staring like this at his wife. He was also getting angry and jealous. Then he saw his friend josh there. They went to him.
Angad: hey josh! Hey Aaliya
Josh and Aaliya: hi Angad:
(Josh is Angad best friend and Aaliya husband. Aaliya is Angad first cousin)
Aaliya: kripa bhabhi! Where were u since these years. U know how much we all missed you and especially bhai!
Kripa: I had moved to nanital….
Angad: but now she is going no where but staying close to me and I will make sure.
Josh: how sweet!
Angad: I know (he said this while looking at kripa)
Josh: why don't you guys go and dance
Kripa: no it is okay
Aaliya: come on bhabhi, plz
Josh: ya…come on kripa
Angad: plz sweetheart
Kripa: fine…if u force me so much I have to
Aaliya: that's the spirit bhabhi
Angad and kripa go to the dance floor. Angad puts his arms around her tender waist and she puts her arms around his neck. It is a slow romantic song. They both look into each others eyes and get back to past where they both would look for hours into each others eyes and dance holding each other, loving each other. For once they almost forgot what had happened between them and danced like they used to three years ago. But after some time one man came up to kripa and asked her to dance with him. Kripa hesitates a bit but then says yes. Angad goes to the bar. He orders a drink and meanwhile keep looking at kripa. While kripa is lost in her thoughts. That other man is starting at kripa like crazy.
Man: hi I m rohit Mehra!
Kripa: hi…I m kripa khanna
Man: u r Angad Khanna's wife?
Kripa: yes
Man: I had heard that u both had some misunderstanding between each other and because of which you two got separated
Kripa: yes
Man: so wanna come with me tonight?? We will have fun together and I promise u will enjoy my company
Kripa: what?? I m married
Man: so what?? Come on baby!
Kripa: no!
Kripa tries to go away but that man holds her hands tightly. She tried free her hand but is not unsuccessful. That man tries to touch her face but a hand stop it. It is our dear Angad. He holds the man's hand and pulls kripa towards himself.
Angad: how dare u misbehave with my wife??
Man: oh come on Angad, just one night. It wont make a difference
Angad: just shut up
Man: I promise she will not regret it
Angad could not take it anymore so he punched him right over his face and till he became all bloody.
Angad: next time remember not to mess with me and my wife
Angad drags kripa out of the party and both drive off home. On the way both of them say nothing. Angad saw that kripa was scared. He knew that he had to make her feel better. After some time they reach home. Both get inside. Angad had got a call so he was downstairs while kripa had already changed. When Angad went to their room, he saw kripa sitting on the bed. He went to change. About 15 mins later he came out and saw that she had been crying. He went and sat besides her.
Angad: kripa!
Kripa looked at him and hugged him. She forgot everything and just hugged him. Angad was too shocked to see her action but still liked hugging her. While hugging she was crying.
Angad: kripa! Nothing will happen to you. I am there with you Na!
Kripa: what if you were not there today??
Angad: see I told you that I have to protect you from the world and I will until I take my last breath.
Kripa: Angad! Plz never leave me alone
Angad: I will never leave you again.
They kept hugging for 5 mins. Kripa realized what she doing and parted and went to sleep. Angad also slept besides her.
