Chapter 18

Im so sorry if this is short and boring...after all im only human?...lol...heres the next part!

   Recap: at all the houses everyone is in bed, sound asleep.

   The next morning at the Khanna Mansion everyone is awake except our darling Angad. Naina, Dilip, and Mannan are sitting at the breakfast table when..

   N: beta, jaake apne bhai ko please uttao

   M: yes mom!

   Mannan runs up the long white staircase, across the hall and stops infront of a door. Mannan opens the door and goes inside and stands beside the bed. He pulls the covers and and then we see Angad, he so deep in his sleep. Mannan just looks at his brother who is sleeping so dreamily and then tries waking Angad up. When Angad doesn't wake up so Mannan goes to Angad's ear and screams.

        M:ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

   Angad wakes up with a jerk seeing his brother laughing his head off. Angad gets up and runs after his brother who now starts to run. The two run down the stairscase into the livingroom and then into the dining room where Naina and Dilip are having breakfast. Mannan goes upto his mom and hides behind her.

   N: arre kya hua?

   A: mom dekho na bhai ne kitne joorse mere kaan mein chika!

   N: mannan!!

   M: nahin mom aap kuch nahin kesakti...apne hi kaha tha ki jaake Angad ko uttao

   They all start to laugh and then the phone rings.

   N: hello?

   D: hello, naina! maine yeh kehne ke liye phone kiya ki aaj tum sab dinner yahan karenge

   N: magar damini

   D: agar, magar kuch nahin tum sab arrahe ho thats it!

   N: thik hai...bye

   D: bye

   The two moms hang up and then Naina goes to the family and tells them that tonight's dinner is at Josh' s place. Hearing this Angad gets excited, but can't figure out why, He doesnt let his happiness show. Then Naina tells Angad to go take a shower. Angad goes to take a shower and then comes down into the dining room and has his breakfast. Just as he is having his breakfast he gets a phone call and he has to leave, his professor called because Angad has to help out in some class today. So then Angad leaves and his whole day goes by there. Naina and Dilip are at home with Mannan just watching tv etc.

   
   On the other hand at the Bose Mansion we see that all are awake, all meaning all! KRipa is in her room getting ready and so is Aaliyah. Prithvi, Gayatri, Reema, and Josh are at the breakfast table, eating. Just then Kripa and Aaliyah come into the dining hall.

   K & Aa: good Morning everyone!

   Everyone: good morning Kripa, Good morning Aaliyah!

   There is an awkward silence at the breakfast table as everyone eats. Kripa can't take the silence anymore so she decides to break it.

   K: so Josh, Reema ko kaha leke jaane ka iraada hai?

   Josh just looks at her.

   K: buddu! Honeymoon ke liye!

   J: oh!...jaha bhi voh jaana chahe!

   K: wow Reema!...tumhara humkum toh aaj se hi shuru ho gaya!..and laughs...so kaha jaana chahti ho tum?

   R: abhi tak soch nahin..i dunno

   Everyone finishes there lunch and then Josh and Prithvi go to Josh's new building which he is bulding, since he is an architect. While Reema, Aaliyah, and Kripa go to the mall. Before they all leave Damini announces that the Khanna's are coming over for dinner so be back before 6. After hearing this they all leave to the mall and Prithvi and Josh leave to the construction site. Gayatri and Damini just stay home and remember old memories when Kripa's family used to live here in Mumbai.

Time goes by fast and now both groups reach home, the girls enter the house with what seems like a gazillion bags in their hands. They all go to their respected rooms and then back downstairs to the living room. Everyone joins Damini and Gayatri who are now watching a classic hindi movie, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (couldn't think of anything!). As it is Kripa has seen this movie a million times so she decides to go into the kitchen and see what's cookin'. She goes into the kitchen and sees nothing is done yet so she goes and helps the cook and she prepares Paneer Tikka and then bakes a nice little chocolate fudge cake. By the time Kripa is finished cooking everyone is in the kitchen surrounding her.

Everyone: mmmmm....!! khushboo toh bohat achi arrahi hai!!

Kripa thanks everyone and then they see that the Khanna's have arrived so they all head to the living room to greet them. Now, everyone is in the dining room, all seated at the dining table after a little while of chatting in the living room. Kripa goes into the kitchen and helps DAmini get the food from the kitchen and brings it to the dining hall. Seeing how helpful Kripa is Naina develops a very strong liking for Kripa in her heart.

Everyone is eating and really loving the food when suddenly Angad says something.

A: arre yeh kaana kisne banaya?

N: haan!..kisne banaya?...tumhari cook ne?

M & D: bohat hi achaa hai!

Hearing this Kripa blushes and seeing Kripa blush made Gayatri and Damini giggle a little.

D: actually Naina yeh kaana cook ne nahin....Kripa ne banaya hai!

A: oh!!...in that case mujhe lagta hai ki... Kripa tumhe cooking ki classes leni chahiye...kitna thikka hai yeh khaana..and he starts to laugh!

K: ANGAD!!!

   Kripa chases Angad for a few minutes then finally Angad gets tired of running so he stops and then she starts to beat him. But then she stops after Angad whispers something to her.

   A: mein mazaak karraha tha!...its really good!!

   Kripa blushes and then the two return to the dinner table. Everyone is eating their dinner and then Dilip clears his throat to say something when all of sudden he puts his hand to his heart and falls to the floor.

   Everyone gets extremely worried, especially Naina. Angad picks his father up and carries him to the car. Then everyone gets into about 3 cars and goes to the hospital. WHen they reach the hospital Angad again picks his father up in his strong, muscular arms and carries him inside. ANgad finds a stretcher and lays Dilip on it. Then the whole crew arrives the hospital, they all run into the hospital. Now that they are at the hospital Naina starts to calm down, but then a new problem arrives. The hospital is extremely busy due to a bus that crashed nearby, there are no doctor's available. Hearing this Naina drops down on the bench closest to her and bursts out crying. Damini and Gayatri go to Naina to control her but it's of no use. They all just sit there trying to figure out what to do next when Mannan says he has an idea. He huddles around everyone ,Angad isnt there he went to see if he can get some help. Just as the huddling finishes Angad comes and all are staring at him.

A: what?...kya?

Everyone: Angad tum toh ek doctor banne ja raheho na?

A: haan toh?

Everyone just keeps on staring at him.

A: no!..no no! i can't!...meine apni studies poori nahin ki hai! and anyways mein ek neurosurgeon banraha hoo..brain doctor!!...no way!...aur vaise bhi Kripa bhi toh ek doctor banrahi hai...and she knows even more, if she didnt then why would she be chosen to help for the experiment we went for in London?

Now all eyes turn to Kripa whose heart is pounding harder and faster than ever! She knows that this is it, this is her chance to show what she has been educated but shes nervous! She has no idea what to do, she knows that everyone is depending on her!
