Part 16

 

Kripa was busy with the kitchen interior , when she needed angad to see the designs in order to move on with the interior decorating of the kitchen , she walked back into the living room to notice Angad busy talking to simone about something, but what she couldn't help notice was the closeness between simone and Angad and most importantly the way simone was looking at Angad dreamily , she rolled her eyes remembering herself when she first met Angad. K- Angad , but angad continued to talk to simone, K- Angad she said getting slightly annoyed, A- oh uh kripa sorry , what did you want , K- I need you to tell me if the kitchen design is okay then I can get started, A- oh um just leave the designs here and then I'll look at them later and tell you actually why don't you just leave and you can continue tomorrow he said smiling ,kripa just put the papers on the table and went back to the kitchen to collect her things in a bad mood, when simone  came into the kitchen looking for something when she saw kripa, she smiled, S- hi what was your name again kripa ?, K- yes and you must be simone I'm guessing, S- yes actually I'm Angad's new secretary, K- then shouldn't you be in the office not at his house she blurted out, S- true actually he is showing me stuff I'm new at this stuff you know , Kripa just smiled collected her things and walked out of the kitchen , opening the door she heard his voice, A- bye kripa see you tomorrow, she turned and just looked at him and then turned back and left.

 

Kripa opened the door and walked in surprised to see josh still home, J- hey, K- hi what are you doing here, J- shouldn't I ask you the same thing won't you supposed to be at Angad's place, K- well I guess I'm not wanted there and she headed upstairs while josh grinned , J- looks like someone is in a bad mood. Kripa dumped her stuff on the bedroom , when her cell rang, K- hello, V- hey kripa it's Rohan , K- oh Rohan hi, R- hey I was just wondering well I was taking krish to the movies and I thought if you might want to join us , K- umm, R- if your free krish would love it if you came along, and then after maybe all three of us could have dinner together Modesto's . K- um sure why not , R- great I'll pick you up at 6pm, bye, K- cya and she hung up and headed back downstairs, J- well look who is back , now what's with the bad mood, K- uh nothing , J- okay who rang, K- oh it was Rohan, he wants me to come and have dinner with him and krish at Modesto's and then watch a movie, J- where ?, K- oh in Westfield near his house you should know and why?, J- no just asking well have fun anyways I'm off, K- okay she said walking into the kitchen, josh turned taking his cell out, J- hello , and he left.

 

Kripa got ready in a pair of jeans and a fancy white spaghetti top with a black jacket , she left her out straight with soft curls at the bottom, and wore gold hoops. She didn't bother to wear make up , who was she to impress, no one, she waited downstairs till the door bell rang , it was Rohan and krish, K- hello, R- hey, Kr- hi aunty you look pretty, K- thank you krish she said kissing his cheek, while krish smiled , R- ready, K- uh yeh just let me lock up and I'll see you in the car, R- okay, kripa locked the door and left. They decided to watch a movie that krish wanted to watch. After the movie finished which krish enjoyed the three went to Modesto's for dinner. R- ah a table for three , thanks, W- right this way, they followed the waiter when Rohan surprised saw Angad and some girl , and walked right over to them, R- Angad , hey what are you doing OMG SIMONE, simone turned around S- ROHAN wow , and they both hugged while kripa and angad looked back surprised , R- wow it's been a long time, S- tell me about like what graduation day, Rohan laughed, R- this calls for a celebration , S- of course come and join us, R- oh I hope Angad won't mind he said grinning at Angad, S- oh Rohan it's not like what you're thinking, I'm working at Angad's office and I was thanking him , R- oh wow cool , and he turned to kripa ,R- kripa you don't mind, Kripa wanted to say yes, but just smiled, K- no it's fine , S- oh you know kripa , R- uh yeh actually he said blushing, S- hmm I get it , come and sit next to me we have so much catching up, Kr- Yay I'll sit with Angad uncle , he said excitingly while Angad picked him up and made him sit beside him, while Rohan sat next to simone , kripa was left standing until krish opened his mouth , Kr- come aunty you can sit next to me he said moving over while kripa sat herself down, (okay like the seating is not chairs you know those seats where it's kind of like a couch lol I hope you get it so it's angad , krish and kripa on one side and then opposites it simone and Rohan). S- How about we order, A- I agree, Kr- yep please I'm hungry he said as his stomach grumbled while the rest smiled. The waiter took their orders and left. Rohan and Simone got immense in a conversation catching up, however angad and kripa just sat their quietly stealing glances of each other when the other would look away. Krish on the other hand was bored and talked to him, he took Kripa's left hand and started to play with it when he took Angad's right hand and played with it to, of course they both didn't mind. Kripa picked up her drink with her other hand to take a sip when heart missed a beat, she looked down to see her hand entwined with Angad's, she looked up at angad to meet his eyes , that were filled with sadness, she looked back down at their hands and move her hand  slowly but he wasn't letting go as much as she tried , she looked up and pleaded with her eyes to let go and he did saying sorry looking away, while she did the same .

krish however smiled cheekily , when their dinner arrived all enjoying their food while Rohan and simone continued to chatter , krish took a sip of his juice only to make it go down the wrong way he started to cough, both kripa and Angad reached out to pat his back at the same time as her hand came over his while he rubbed krish's back , at first they both didn't realize , when Angad looked at kripa , if felt so perfect

R- krish beta how many times do I have to tell you drink you juice properly, Kr- sorry daddy he said with a frown while Rohan got back into talking with Simone continuing to eat. Suddenly music started to play , R- kripa would you like to dance, K- uh sorry Rohan not tonight , R- it's okay he said slightly disappointed , S- hey what about me how a bout a dance for olds sake, you don't mind kripa right she said winking, why would she care she thought, oh yeah that's right they were whatever she thought and smiled saying, K- no go right ahead, Rohan and simone got up and went towards the front and into the corner to dance enjoying themselves.  Angad looked at kripa, how he wished he could be dancing with her right now but that would probably the last thing she'd ever want to do he thought sadly. Krish was getting very bored indeed until a random photographer came around, P- hi there guys I'm John , actually since today we're celebrating the success of our restaurant I've been going around and taking photos of each table but it's totally up to you, kripa was about to decline, when krish started to scream , Kr- yay!! Photo time, P- great okay move in a little closer , actually how about you too kiss his cheek , that'd be a very cute photo , Kr- yeah uncle , aunty you'll give me a kiss right , kripa wasn't very sure about it she had a bad feeling but how was she supposed to break krish's heart he was so excited taking a photo , it would only take a second she thought and agreed, Angad on the other hand was happy that'd she agreed, P- okay on the count of three , P- one , two three and krish moved his cheek away naughtily, he had always wanted to do that and did .Angad's lips touched  Kripa's and the time froze for a moment , it felt perfect, so perfect, when they parted by krish's laughs, kripa looked up at Angad with a flush face but soon changed to anger and got up and left, A- kripa wait, Krish watched kripa leave and felt quite bad , he only wanted to have fun , Kr- I'm sorry uncle did I hurt kripa aunty I didn't mean to I'm sorry, A- krish don't say sorry you know you've made this the best day of my life and I'm sure aunty is just upset about something else he said kissing his cheek, A- wait here okay I'll be back and he left for kripa , while krish just sat there wondering what he meant , shrugging his shoulders he continued to sip on his juice.

 

A- kripa wait, he said grabbing her hand, when kripa jerked it back, K- don't touch me , A- kripa just listen to me, K- just shut up I can't believe, A- wait kripa krish was only having fun he didn't mean to, K- I know it's not krish's fault you probably told him, A- wow kripa like usual I'm the one to blame but go ahead that's all you do blame me, I said sorry so many time I asked for your friendship though you declined my love for you which isn't your fault , I still love you but in return all I get is hatred and blamed  , I 'm sorry kripa if you think this was my fault then if can , I know it's impossible but trust me I had nothing to do with, I will say however I didn't regret what just happened, for me it's probably one of the most specialist moments of my life and I will always keep it close to my heart I don't think you felt what I felt, which was completeness but forget all this I know you have no interest in talking to me or seeing my face, sorry once again and he walked away with a heavy hear once again, while kripa stood there in tears running her hands through her hair in frustration when she hailed a cab. Angad came back to find Rohan and simone back, R- where's kripa, A- oh she went home she felt tired, R- oh okay he asked kind of disappointed, A- I guess i should be going I have to leave tomorrow , bye thanks for the great dinner , R- well since everyone going maybe I should leave to, A- no you and krish and simone stay have dessert and catch up please, I'm sure krish here would love ice cream right, KR- YESSSS he said with joy while angad laughed and waved good bye.

 

 

Kripa opened the door, J- oh kripa your bac……. But she just ignored him and ran upstairs slamming her room door behind her. Josh grinned and took his cell out, J- hello simone.
