Chapter 31

A couple slept peacefully on the bed with the room around them an absolute havoc, with things all over the place, an indication of what had occurred the night before. But they seemed to not care about anything at this moment.

As the sun shined from a barred window over the young girls innocent face, she buried it into her husbands chest not wanting to be woken up yet. But no sooner had she sunk back into her sleep, that the alarm rang. She reached her hand out trying to close it, stupid alarm clocks! She thought when she couldn't reach it.

She finally opened her eyes grabbing the alarm clock from the side table, slamming it shut, oh damn it was already 11 o' clock in the morning. And she was still so sleepy. She looked to her right, her love of life was still fast asleep, She shook him, "Angad" she said her voice sounding tired, "Angad wake up," She said touching his incredible adorable face.

"Go to sleep Kripa its too early." Angad mumbled, pulling her closer to him.

"Its 11, go take a shower"

"No u go first"

"I am too tired, its ur fault u didn't even let me sleep last night."

"Ok." Angad pecked Kripa on her cheeks, and got up off the bed scratching his head as he made his way to the bathroom. When he came out Kripa was still asleep, "Kripa get up."

"Mmmhmm", Kripa mumbled falling asleep, Angad smiled devilishly and without a second thought picked her off the bed. Kripa noticing the change in elevation opened her eyes, "Angad!!… Put me down,… I have to go take shower."

"That's where I am taking u hun."

"Not with u! And besides, u have already had urs." She said ruffling his freshly gelled hair

"Oh u did not just do that."

"Do what, oh this…" She said ruffling his hair again teasingly

"U r so dead." he said placing her in the bathtub, and getting on top of her, Kripa blocked him by placing her hands on his chest, "Angad don't try and act smart with me, tonight was enough now get out."

"What Kripa I like being clean…" he said kissing her neck while slowly opening up the buttons of her shirt

"Angad what would u like for breakfast."

"I am not really hungry, I have to get back to work. I have a million missed calls on my phone." He said unsure of what Kripa would say about his work, but his work was his life he didn't exist without it.

Kripa went and sat next to him, Angad was unable to look into her eyes, he didn't know how he would fulfill his promise, "Angad, you remember what I told you, what u promised, I can understand if u cant do this, but Angad, I don't want to live in fear my whole life, the fear of waking up at night and wondering weather or not you would return home. I have already lost too much I will die if I lose you too, After that the decision is urs." Kripa got up from the table to leave, very disappointed,

But Angad grabbed her hand also getting up, "Kripa, the day I chose you I made my decision, I can give up anything for you." She hugged him.

"You know I always knew you could be good if you tried, there was something in you that I never saw in Prithvi, and after a while in my brother." Angad kissed her forehead.

"Kripa, who do you think will hire as soon I step into the office half the staff will run away with fear." Kripa laughed.

"Come on ur not that bad." she said playing with his hair

"You are just saying that because you have never seen me murder." he said put his hands around her waist pulling her closer.

"Angad…" she said her voice slightly frustrated.

"Ok ok, but at least give me a good luck kiss before I leave to find a 'normal job'" he looked at her hopefully, she smiled and gave him a slight peck on the cheeks.

Angad was disappointed he was expecting a kiss on the lips, "Come Kripa u treat me as though I am ur boyfriend rather then a husband."

Kripa rolled her eyes, "Ur so bad, now go before I have to kick you out." She said pushing him towards the door

"ok ok I am going."

"good luck." Kripa said smiling as she shut the door.

Angad's phone rang he listened carefully and said only three words at the end, "I am coming."
