"…and then came the day when I couldn't stop Prithvi, that was the day that we slept together." It hurt Angad, he knew they had that kind of physical relationship because how could Kripa be pregnant if they didn't but it was different having to actually hear it, having to think about it.
"Stop it Kripa just finish ur story so I can get out of here."
"Prithvi knew all along who I was he was playing with me, my brother told me this the day before Prithvi's murder, that was the day that I had found out that I was pregnant with his child, that was the day when my life was ruined. I was broken and I was angry. All that time when he had touched me kissed me he knew how much he was torturing me, I am happy he is dead, and I will never regret it. Angad it's time to tell u the secret that I have always kept from u, maybe sahil would still be alive today if I had told u. Angad Sahil did not kill Prithvi " Tears fell down Kripa's cheeks.
I took some time for Angad to digest the news, "What!? don't lie to me Kripa, u told me ur self."
"i lied but now I am not," Kripa said simply, "that day Sahil came to my house, actually he didn't come he was brought by Prithvi…"
"Leave me Prithvi!!" Sahil said yelling and kicking the basement door as he was thrown inside
Prithvi laughed "Leave you!! I have finally tracked u, after such a long time…do u even know what I had to go through to get to u. And u want me to leave you. Now finally after ages of waiting i will have the pleasure to see you die!" Prithvi had his gun out he wasn't going to waste anymore time. He put the gun to his head, Sahil closed his eyes he was going to die in this basement and no one was going to be there to save him.
A slight movement behind Prithvi caused Sahil to open his eyes, it was Kripa behind him. Prithvi was still smiling with his fingers pressing the trigger. Sahil had no complains now, the last thing he would see would be his sisters face. A tear fell down Kripa's cheek as she wittnessed murder, the roar of the shooting pistol filled the air, but it was not Sahil but Prithvi that fell to the ground.
Kripa had no other way she had to shoot him or he would have killed her brother. It was impossible for her to even think about murder just a few days ago, but she had gone through so much, in the few days that there she was will a gun in her hand. Prithvi's betrayal had been the final straw, he deserved to die. She was almost happy that she had been the one to shoot him, it cooled the anger that had been riping her apart.
She ran and hugged her brother, "Sahil are u ok."
He did not answer he was in too much shock, "Sahil" kripa repeated worried.
He held kripa tightly his voice scarred for the first time, "Kripa, What did u do!! U killed Prithvi, u killed Prithvi Khanna!!"
"I had no choice bhai ."
Sahil pulled away from kripa making up his mind, "Kripa go away!!"
"But bhai…"
"No Kripa dont argue just go away. I murdered Prithvi!! u got that!! I murdered him!! U weren't even home when this happened. Leave Kripa before the police get here. GO!!" Sahil took the gun from her hand, erasing her finger prints from it.
"Bhai…" Kripa was in tears how could he let her brother get into trouble but she knew that if she didn't leave she would be in even more trouble.
"GO!!!" He said pushing her towards the door
Kripa left, she went to Tarun and told him what had happened, he understood, and sent her to GOA at once so no one would suspect her. The police had wanted Prithvi dead for a very long time so they did not investigate much and The case was CLOSED.
"I murdered ur brother Angad, I enjoyed murdering him, and that is the truth." She said looking to the floor she could not bring herself to look into Angad's painful eyes.
Angad quickly whipped his tears, and took out his gun, the gun that his brother had given him, he had never used it but he would use today he would use it on Kripa, "Well now I will be the one that will enjoy killing u." He said smiling his evil grin, but there was pain still visible in his eyes, Kripa looked up at him but wasn't scarred she was never scarred of Angad.
