Chapter 20

As she walked down the hall the light flickered, she stopped her heart beat rising slightly. She shook her self up, sometimes even she couldn't understand her self. She could live with gangsters for months but was she was scared of flickering lights.

The lights flickered once more turning off totally, leaving her in pitch black darkness. All she could see was a far away torch which seemed to be lit with fire. She walked towards it, maybe she could use that to find her way out, she carefully took her steps trying to avoid tripping on the numerous stair that kept popping out in the generally straight path.

She was on the second stair step when it happened she was thrown towards the wall. It came as quite surprise at first but she did not take long to recover from it. She had been expecting Angad to pay a visit and she did not need the light to tell that the person holding her forcefully to the wall was Angad.

She knew his grip, she knew his style, but she wasn't scared after all how could one be scared of the person that they loved, she trusted him even more then she trusted herself and that trust had just strengthened when he had let her go. She knew his blotted ego would never get him to admit and especially to the leader of his rival gang that he loved her, but she knew he did and it was her job to get those words out of his mouth.

"scarred?" Angad said moving his finger on her cheeks.

"Angad, what took u so long, I was starting to think that u wouldn't come." She said smiling.

"How could I forget my dear wife, I let u go alive and u go and steal my car."

"Sorry jaan but everything is fair in love and in war, and u didn't let me go, I escaped remember when u had to go to ur 'meeting'." Kripa was not so stupid she knew that he had let her go but it was so much fun to provoke him. What he would say and do in anger always surprised Kripa, and she liked to be surprised.

"I killed ur brother, and he was my best friend, and ur the enemy that I have always hated, are u scarred?"

Kripa put her arms around his necks kissed him on the lips, "Angad, sahil was never ur friend, and I am the wife that u have always loved."

Angad was too angered by now she hated women with so much confidence, and people that even tried to prove him wrong often ended up in the graveyard the next day, "u have a little too much confidence. I could slit ur throat right now."

Kripa smiled remembering their last encounter, "Then do it I am right here in front of u, but I know u wont be able to." Kripa took of his hand from her waist, and walked off.

"Don't waste ur time trying to threaten me" she said caressing his face "go prepare for the race, and be ready to lose to me."

Angad laughed, "U seriously think u can beat me."

"Yes, and u will be the one that will lead me to my victory."

"And what if u lose?"

"I won't, and if I do, I ll be ready to leave aprik, and become ur unrebellious wife."

"What makes u think I ll want u, I can get any one I want."

"U can, but I know u will not want to." she kissed him on the cheeks, "good luck" she disappeared.

Angad couldn't believe her, what the hell he was probably the most dangerous person, in 1000 mile radius, and she was not even a little bit scarred of him, and what the f****n hell was he doing, he was supposed to have killed her already. That's what he had came here to do but then why hadn't he even gotten out his knife. Had he really come here to kill her or to beg her to forfeit, he shook his head he was being stupid.

Angad khanna beg never, it was just her trick, and he kept falling for it for some reason. But now he wasn't going to kill her, no he was going to defeat her and then snatch away everything from her, freedom, happiness, till she begged him for death. She thought too much of herself and like every women she needed to be shown her place.

"Wow Kripa ur fast!" Tarun said seeing her smoothly stop her car, "are u sure u haven't done this before?"

"Nope never done it."

"U beat Ria so badly and she is our fastest rider."

Ria parked her black car next to Kripa's, "Dude are u crazy u ll get ur self killed going at that speed!!"

Kripa smiled at ria and answered tarun, "I knew I could do this it's the fear that slows one down, its not the car it's the heart and the mind, and I have no fear."

She looked at Ria, who was still looking at her shocked, "maybe that's what I want." Kripa knew that Angad had won every race he had raced but he was going to lose this one because he had a fear and a weakness. She was his weakness.
