Chapter 5

Part 4

A young girl stepped into an alley way she had a bag swinging to her side. She was dressed in black and white; her ears were pierced with several silver and gold earrings. She had a black band on her arm and many rings on her fingers. She had a silver necklace with the words Aprik, on one side and Kripa on the other.  

She looked anything but sweet; she had a determined face and a smile of success lingering on her face. The deeper she went into the alley her smile grew wider, then she approached a group of people obviously waiting for her arrival. All of them were dressed in black and white, with a lot of metal jewelry, and a necklace around their necks with their names on one side and Aprik on the other. She went up and hugged the guy, with a black t-shirt and white pants, then she went up and hugged the girl standing next to the guy. Then she looked around at all the people, pleased to see them all smiling.

"What did he say?"

"You will be surprised." The guy standing next to her said.

"Tarun don't give me all that crap just get to the point I want to know what he said."

"Chill man, I ll tell u what happened, but first u have to tell how u managed to get the conversation recorded?" Said the girl standing next to Tarun, her name was Ria.

"I slipped it in Angad's coat with the pretense of slipping, u were there Ria didn't u see it."

"Hmm… so that's when u did it, ok I guess its our turn. U want to know what he said?"

"Duh… I have been waiting for that explanation ever since I came here."

"Ok, lets start with why he wanted to marry u so badly?" Ria smiled, "He wants ur baby kripa, u know yours and prithvi's child."

Kripa broke into laughter, which echoed all throughout the dark alley.

The next scene wasn't in a dark gloomy alley; it was a circular room with bright lights illuminating it. Angad was sitting at the far end of the table with josh right next to him.

"Angad my conclusion was right there are two traitors and one of them I am afraid is one of us, sitting right here, among us." He said looking around at everyone sitting.

Angad looked around at everyone and then got up to speak, "I know that one of us is a traitor, but I will remind him that in this business we do not forgive, and traitors are not just killed they are first tortured. It's too late to run away now, we will find you and kill u, but if you come and reveal ur self u might be saved from a painful death."  He sat back down, "now for our other issues…"

The meeting went on for an hour, angad cornered josh at the end of the meeting, "I want u to give me all the information u can find about kripa."

"Ur wife kripa?" Josh said surprised

"Yes"

"U think she was responsible in anyway for prithvi's deat…"

"No" angad said sharply, cutting him off, "she loved him too much, but her actions are quite suspicious, and cannot be ignored."

"Ok, it will be done."

"as soon as possible." Angad said making it clear that the issue was not to be ignored.

"I ll try." Josh said annoyed, it was these times that he missed Prithvi, his death had not only taken away, a very important person in their organization but it had also transformed angad into a crazy lunatic, who though of nothing but revenge. Revenge from Aprika!

He remembered the good old days as to how they used to just chill with smoking gals, the times in the dance bar, or the Hotel rooms (I hope u guys are getting what I am trying to say by "good" times in the hotel room). He missed those days. It was as if all the fun out of life had been taken out after Prithvi had died.

"DAMN!!! I am late." Kripa said in a worried voice, "if angad finds me out of bed then it will just give him a reason to suspect me and I can't have that not when I am trying to get him to fall for me, to trust me."

"kripa its ok just tell him u went for a walk or something."

"No, he won't believe it." Kripa got up, "Tarun I am talking ur bike."

"Er…ok, I guess I ll go home with Ria then, have a safe drive."

Kripa went out on the bike her head lights illuminating the alley, rain started falling. But kripa didn't care she just needed to get to her house before angad. If she didn't she would seriously be in trouble. Because as far as she had heard about angad he could always catch a lie.
