Kripa closes her eyes and a final tear drop falls before she drifts off to sleep
Part 22
The drive back to Mumbai is fairly quiet apart from the music which Neev continues to change, Varun, Prithvi and Yug have quiet conversations in the back about what they will say to the girls but in actual fact all three are scared to say anything in case the girls kill them but also scared that if they don't then they will have to face Angad, who scares all three of them but soon enough the journey is over and Angad parks the car in his driveway, his first instinct is to run inside and take Kripa in his arms but instead he looks over at Neev
A - call Kavya, tell him we're here and tell him to come to my house, I think Prachi and Anjali are here
Neev looks out of the window and sees Prachi's and Anjali's cars in the driveway and nods his head at Angad
N - yep they're here, I'll call Kavya
Neev takes out his phone and calls Kavya and lets him know they have arrived, once the phonecall is finished Neev looks at Angad
N - are we just going to sit here?
A - yep, at least until Kavya comes
N - right
They all wait until Neev sees Kavya's car pulling into the drive way, he and Angad get out, Kavya gets out of his car and hugs them both
Ka - glad to know you're back, Angad did you think about what I said?
A - lets go inside.....
Ka - one should learn how to change topics from you
Kavya, Neev go inside first, Angad comes in last, when he does go inside he sees Anjali and Prachi hugging Kavya and Neev respectively, he turns around to look at Yug, Varun and Prithvi
A - stay here
The three merely nod their heads as Angad walks into the living room and greets Anjali and Prachi, he looks around and sees Kripa, she runs and hugs him, Angad hesitates but hugs her back, Prithvi feels a slight pang of jealously, maybe because at one point he did genuinely love Kripa, in fact Yug and Varun also feel slightly jealous seeing Prachi and Anjali.
K - you're back
A - yeah.....we have visitors
Angad moves out of the way and the three girls get a good look at their ex boyfriends
K - what are they doing here?
A - come on guys, its time for you to speak up
Prithvi, Yug and Varun look at each other, then at Angad then at the girls, Prithvi breathes deeply and speaks first
Pr - Kripa.....
A - speak!
Pr - what happened.....when we were in college...it was...it was my fault....I deliberately wanted you to hate Prachi and Anjali, I never liked you hanging out with them and....
Prithvi is greeted by Kripa with a smack across his cheek, Prachi looks at Varun
P - and what do you have to say for yourself?
V - I....I purposely made sure you didn't see Kripa and Anjali because I never wanted you to be friends with them, so I lied that it was staged when it wasn't
Prachi also comes forward and slaps Varun, lastly Yug hides behind Prithvi and Varun not wanting to get slapped, Angad shakes his head and walks behind Prithvi and Varun and holds Yug from the back of his neck and brings him forward in front of Anjali
A - no unless you want me to beat the **** out of you then I suggest you start talking
Y - Anju....I....I'm sorry, I used you and I said all of that stuff to you because I never wanted you to be friends with Prahci or Kripa...I envied your friendship with them so I ruined it....I lied about all the things I said that people were saying...I'm sorry
Anjali smiles, Yug thinks he's off the hook so he also smiles back but is surprised when Anjali slaps him, Neev is standing back and starts to snigger, Kavya pulls him to one side and whispers
Ka - why are you laughing?
N - just seeing them all get slapped....man I never knew Prachi had it in her....oh my god I'm scared now Kavya....what if she slaps me one day
Kavya grins and puts his arm around Neev's shoulder
Ka - that would be a sight to see.....lets ask Prachi if she will do it now
Kavya goes to walk ahead but Neev pulls him back
N - I was kidding you moron, don't say anything
Both go and stand by Angad
Ka - now, we don't want to see you three ever again
N - and if we find you anywhere near our wives......Angad will have to kill you, won't you Angad?
A - of course Neev, now get lost
The three guys look at each other then nudge Prithvi
P - but....we don't have our cars
Neev smiles and puts his arms around the three
N - you see, many years ago there was an invention.....called the bus, now I'm sure the three of you have enough money between you for three bus tickets.....now hope that settles everything
Neev walks with them to the door and pushes the three of them out and slams the door in their faces, he turns around when he hears a knock, he turns and opens the door
N - what now?
Y - our bags....in Angad's car....
Angad tosses his keys to Neev and Neev goes outside and takes the bags out one by one and throws them at Prithvi, Yug and Varun, who frown and walk off, Neev locks the car and goes back inside, he hugs Prachi
N - now I'm sure you'll probably want to talk to Anjali and Kripa....
He glances over at Angad and Kripa
N - but not now....tomorrow, we should go....see you guys
Kavya nods his head and Neev leaves with Prachi, Kavya looks at Angad then at Anjali
Ka - we should leave too
An - lets go....Kripa I'll see you tomorrow....and make sure you have something to eat
Kripa slowly nods her head as Anjali and Kavya leave, she follows them and shuts the door then turns around and looks at Angad, who puts his hands in his pockets
K - why don't you go take a shower, I'm sure you need one
A - yeah....I will but first....
Angad goes into the kitchen and looks in the fridge, he takes out some decent food and heats it up, then takes it inside to Kripa
A - you should eat
K - ok...
Kripa sits down with the food and stares at it, Angad sighs and comes forward and begins to feed her, Kripa has tears in her eyes, when she finishes, Angad gets up to leave but Kripa holds his arm, Angad turns and looks at her and frowns
K - stay.....please
coming up - will Angad stay or not?
