Angad nods his head, Neev smiles and gives Angad a hug. Both head back to Neev's house where Neev packs a bag and lets Prachi know he's going with Angad. Prachi agrees. Angad and Neev leave in Angad's car
Part 20
Angad stops the car outside a large golden gate, he lowers his window and presses the intercom, a voice is heard on the other side
V - yes?
A - who's that? Nathan?
Na - Angad sir?
A - yeah, could you open the gates please
Na - erm of course sir
A buzzing sound is heard and the gates begin to slide open, Angad drives into the driveway and soon Neev catches sight of a huge mansion, even bigger than his own, he's in complete awe
N - you like here?
A - used to, before marriage
N - why in God's name would you leave?
A - differences with dad
N - oh....I see
Angad stops the car, Neev looks outside the window and sees a fairly middle aged man walking over to them, he opens Angad's door
Na - Angad sir, good to see you
A - you too Nathan
Angad steps out of the car and Neev also steps out
A - this is my friend Neev, Neev this is our butler, a good friend Nathan
N - nice to meet you
Na - come sir
Another servant comes and takes their luggage inside, Angad and Neev follow Nathan inside, they stand in the hallway when Angad sees a familiar face, he smiles and goes forward and hugs his mother Sheetal Kapoor
A - hey maa, how are you?
S - Angad, I'm good son, you?
A - I'm great, Neev come meet my mom
N - hi aunty
Sheetal touches Angad's cheek
S - why are you here? where's Kripa?
A - I've left her maa loads of things have happened maa
S - oh Angad
A - where's papa?
S - he's upstairs, in his study
A - Nathan, take Neev to his room
Angad gives Neev a reassuring smile then goe supstairs, he stands outside his dad's study not knowing whether to knock or just go in. His dad, Rahul Khanna was a stubborn man when Angad left home, and Angad is scared he's still the same, Sheetal sees him and knocks on the door
S - there, the hard parts done
Angad gives her a smile
R - come in
Angad breathe deeply then puts his hand on the door knob and opens the door, he finds his dad sitting in his chair facing the window
A - papa
Rahul turns around in his chair and looks up at his son
R - Angad, what brings you back home?
A - I....I was wrong dad, you were right....I don't have what it takes to succeed in life....my business is ruined
Rahul pushes the chair back and stands in front of Angad, he holds him by his shoulders and pulls him closer
R - I know, I read the papaers, I know my son is one of the best businessman in India. There's no need to come back accepting your defeat, we both know you were right
Angad hugs his father
R - Kripa?
A - I left her
R - we will talk about that some other time, right now, go to your room and rest
A - yeah, I have a friend with me, good night dad
R - good night
Angad smils then leaves the room, he pays a quick visit to Neev and lets him know they will leave in the morning, he goes to his room and sits on the bed and thinks about Kripa, hw knows he should call her but decides against it, he just lies back and closes his eyes, The next morning, despire the lack of sleep, Angad wakes up early and goes to wake Neev up, he shakes him
N - Prachi let me sleep
Angad grins slightly
A - I'm not Prachi, now get up
Angad kicks Neev and he jerks up
N - oh Angad,
A - yeah.....get out of bed, get changed, we're going
N - where?
A - to look for Prithvi Bose
Neev yawns then gets out of bed, soon enough the two leave after telling Rahul and Sheetal not to tell Kripa Angad had gone elsewhere. Both are now on the road searching for Prithvi's last known address
N - what if he's not there?
A - someone will know where he is
N - so, whats going to happen, you take him back to kripa, get him to confess then leave?
A - pretty much
N - right, lets see how that works out, there's the house
Angad rings the doorbell and an elderly man opens, Neev nudges Angad and whispers
N - thats Prithvi?
A - no you idiot.....excuse me sir, sorry to bother you but we're looking for Prithvi Bose
Angad takes out the photo Anjali had given him and held it out for the man to see
Man - he doesn't live here any more
N - figured
A - do you have any forwarding address?
Man - no but this pretty lady comes every day to collect his mail, she should be here soon
A - can we wait inside?
Man - sure
Angad and Neev follows him inside and share small talk, soon enough the doorbell rings and the man goes to answer the door, he comes back and takes the letter from a drawer
Man - she's here
A - where are the letters?
Man - here
Angad takes the letters off him and goes into the hallway, he hands them to the woman
A - hi, erm I'm looking for Prithvi Bose, the old man said you take his mail
Woman - yeah, I'm Mishty, his sister
A - yeah, its important I meet him, could you give me his address
M - ok, I'm going there now, so why don't you follow me
A - sure, Neev come on we're going
Neev says bye to the man and follows Angad outside into the car, Angad follows Mishty's car, soon enough Mishty parks the car outside a house, Angad also parks and gets out with Neev. They follow Mishty into the house
M - wait here, I'll go get him
Angad and Neev wait in the hallway, both are startled when they hear a voice
V - who are you?
Both look at the guy
A - I'm Angad, this is Neev.....are you Prithvi?
Pr - yeah, what do you want?
coming up - Angad convinces Prithvi to go back to Mumbai with him.
