Chapter 19

 

 

          "So tell me Kripa, how does it feel in that itchy, heavy, puke outfit?" Angad asked. I groaned.

          "Why are you doing this to me?!" I exclaimed. He laughed and slung his arm around my shoulder. I smiled at this, despite myself.

          The day had passed like every other blissful day; I woke up, went to work, hung out with the gang (Alliyah, Josh, Cole, Rhonda, of course Angad, and a few other wannabe people. I had quickly realized that Alliyah and Angad were the 'it' people on campus, and thus were surrounded by groupies), ate dinner at Angad and Cole's place, and went back to the dorm with Alliyah (sometimes- more often than not, she would leave with Josh).

          Today was another one of those days where she went with josh; leaving Angad to take me home. We were walking outside of my dorm building now, by the boardwalk. It was dark, and we only saw other workers walking- some in pairs as couples, and others in threes or fours.

          And Angad was teasing me about my hideous costume, as always.

          "Because I love you." He answered. I just shook my head. It wasn't something I hadn't heard before. He said it all the time.

          "Well, then too bad, cuz I don't" I looked up at him and smirked. He raised his eyebrow.

          "Really?"

          I nodded, barely able to conceal my smile.

          He shook his head and grabbed me by the waist, pulling me up so our faces were at the exact same level.

          "Still don't love me huh?"

          I smirked. "Nope!"

          He shook his head. "I really didn't want to do this Kripa"  I looked at him, eyes wide. He wouldn't! There were too many people watching. He leaned in closer, closer and until I could feel his breath on my face. I shut my eyes, and then squealed.

          He had started to tickle me! Still laughing, I felt myself being lowered to the ground. He still continued, though, and I kept on squealing.

          "STOP!! ANGADDDDD!!" I shrieked. The people walking by us just smiled, shook their heads, and kept on walking; they were used to us being crazy. I was running out of breath and my head was swimming. Jus then my phone rang. He finally stopped tickling me, but kept his hands on my waist. I shook my head sternly at him, and, without looking, picked up my phone.

          "Hello?"

          "Kripa?" it was Prithvi,

          "Err ya. You called me….who do you expect?"

          He was silent.

          "So it is you." He had a strange tone to his voice.

          "Yea…." I felt Angad staring at me, quizzically.

          "I see you." He said, eerily. Angad must have seen the look of panic on my face, because he let go of my waist and reached to stroke my cheek. I pushed his hand away and took a step away from him.

          "Where are you?" I asked. I looked around. He stepped out of the shadows. His face was hard and cold. I was relieved to see him, and I ran and hugged him. He hugged me back tightly.

          Once our hug was over, I took his hand and dragged him to Angad, who was waiting there patiently.

          "Angad, this is Prithvi; Prithvi, this is Angad- my roommates brother"

          The two guys looked at each other, sizing the other up.

         

 

That's the part. I have decided that I will end this ff and then do the others; don't worry; there's only about 3 parts left. I have spring break next week, so um I think that ill finish this whole ff by Sunday? I'll update every other day and then ill go in overdrive and finish the rest of the ffs; The Devil & If I told you… are supposed to be short anyway. && then I can start the new ff Im DYING to start. : p So 15 comments as always, and then a new part on wed? Or if I get really good comments tonight, and tomorrow, ill cont tomorrow night. So hope u guys like the part!
