P - Kripa!

K - Angad....what now?

A - your belt on?

K - yes

A - well hold on tight

 

Kripa looks at Angad and before she knows it, Angad revs the engine and zooms off, Prithvi grabs his keys and gets into his car to chase them

 

Kripa holds on to the side of the car door as Angad sweres to the right, he looks in his mirror to see Prithvi's car behind him

 

A - damn, that jerk Prithvi is chasing us

 

Kripa turns around briefly to see the car

 

K - Angad what are we going to do?

A - you're going to sit while I drive faster

K - no, don't, what if you get hurt, don't you care about me....if we crash........

 

Angad puts his hand over her mouth while driving with one hand

 

A - just chill

K - Angad look forward

 

Angad looks forward and sees a bike, he goes right and misses it, Kripa breathes a sigh of relief and puts her hand on Angad's shoulder and tries to look back but is unable to see anything due to the seat belt holding her back, she recklessly takes it off and looks over her shoulder

 

K - he's gaining on us, why don't we just stop the car and talk to him

A - and say what? "Prithvi dude, I'm running away with your fiance" oh yeah he'll happily let you go...

K - no need for the sarcasm

A - Kripa I love you but please shut up and let me drive

 

Kripa shuts up while Angad cuts through a red light hoping Prithvi stops but Prithvi also comes through the red light, Angad curses Prithvi and changes to 4th gear, he takes a sharp left causing his car to skid, Kripa holds on to his arm and looks in the side mirror to see Prithvi also coming round the corner

 

A - that ******* why won't he get lost

K - he's stubborn, I can tell you this much about him at least

A - you know so much about him hey....

K - oh shut and drive

 

Angad smiles at Kripa until he feels the car budge forward, he looks back and sees Prithvi smashing his car into the back of Angad's

 

A - that son of a.....wrecking my car! if he survives this, then I'll kill him for ruining my car

K - so your cars more important than our lives?

A - I never said that......now girl stop making things up

K - whatever

 

Angad smiles to himself and cuts another red light, Prithvi is about to cut the light but cars from the other side begin going, Angad smiles

 

A - great, we'll be able to get ahead of him.

 

Angad's drives a bit faster until he no longer sees Prithvi's car, he slows down a bit and takes a deep breath

 

A - this baby is not made for car chases, damn the next service will be expensive

K - stop fretting about the car! when is our flight?

A - you got your passport?

K - no....I knew we were going to run away to go abroad and the first thing I leave is my passport, seriously Angad you can be very dumb

A - whatever....

 

Angad takes Kripa's hand in his and kisses it, they smile at each other when suddenly Prithvi's car comes from around the corner and brakes in front of Angad's but as Angad is busy smiling at Kripa, he doesn't see it until its too late, he applies the hand brake but the front of his car crashes into the side of Prithvi's car. Prithvi manages to get out of his car with a few scratches. Angad holds his head and breathes deeply

 

A - stupid *******, I'm going to kill him, Kripa, you ok yeah....Kripa....Kripa

 

Angad looks to the side but Kripa isn't there, Angad opens his door and gets out, he looks at Prithvi and is ready to lunge at him when he catches sight of Kripa lying by the sidewalk, he looks at his car and sees the front window smashed, he runs over to Kripa and takes her in his arms

 

A - Kripa! Kripa can you hear me? Kripa!

 

Angad sees the blood on her face and takes her face in his hands

 

A - Kripa speak to me please....Kripa...

 

Angad has tears streaming down his face, soon a crowd forms around him, Angad looks at them angrily

 

A - don't just stare, call an ambulance!

 

One of the spectators calls an ambulance, it comes and the ambulance assistants place Kripa into the ambulace, Angad also goes into the ambulance and holds Kripa's hand. Prithvi watches the ambulance trying to process what just happened

 

coming up - everyone finds out about the accident
