As she returned from her college that evening she was shocked. She saw her Bhaiyya sitting with Simran, her best friend. Not just that he was holding her hands. She always hated to see her friends hitting on her Navin Bhaiyya and the worse thing was that even he used to enjoy flirting with her friends. She remembered that she had not seen Simi in college for the whole day.

"Hii Naina...woh main tuhara hi wait kar rahi thi. You know I wasn't feeling too well that is why I didn't even come to college. So maine socha tumse pooch loon ki aaj college main kya kya hua"

"Haan Naina bechari pichle aadhe ghante se tumhara wait kar rahi hai. Maine socha wait karna might just get so boring so I was just giving her some company."

"How thoughtful Bhaiyya" She said sarcastically and turned to Simran.

"Waise Simi, when was the last time you came to college with an actual intention of attending classes"

"Don't be so rude Naina. She is trying to get back to her studies. Tumhe to ise support karna chahiye...Right Simi?"

Simran stood there without a word but she was blushing and seeing her like that Naina's temper was shooting up.

"Naina what is wrong with you. You have guests over...at least ask her some refreshments. Simi what would you like to have?"

"I think Coffee will do" She said hesitatingly.

"Naina could you please get us a cup of coffee"

At that very moment the door opened and Rajveer entered. Naina gave him a big smile and went to him.

"Hey Raj!! Will you have a cup of coffee?"

"Sure." Rajveer was rather surprised to receive this over-warm welcome.

"Cool...I'll just get it"

Naina went to kitchen and returned with four mugs of coffee. She kept them on table and picked up two cups and gave one of them to Raj.

"Maa-Baba kahan hai" Naina asked Navin rudely.

"Woh Faridabad gaye hain. Mona aunty is unwell....unhe dekhne. Kal shaam tak aayenge." Navin said while offering coffee to Simi.

Naina's eyes were fixed on Navin and Simi as they took the first sip of their coffee. Rajveer was closely observing Naina. Something was there in her eyes that he couldn't read. But the very next moment he got it.

"Nainaaaaa" Navin shouted.

"What?" Naina asked making an innocent face.

"What is this? Coffee mein namak hai."

Navin and Simi's faces were worth watching.

Rajveer was quite surprised to hear that. His coffee was quite good and more importantly normal. Now he knew why Naina herself gave him coffee mug.

"I know that Bhaiyya. Woh maine socha two of you are sooooo sweet, itni der se itni sweet-sweet baatein kar rahe hain, itni sweetly ek doosre ko company de rahe hain ...to iske baad agar main aapko sweet si coffee doongi to kahin aap dono ko excess sweetening ki wajah se Diabetes na ho jaaye."

Rajveer could not control his laughter and excused himself.

Naina also gave them a hard stare and left slamming the door behind.

 

Naina was standing in the lawn all alone.

"Hii" She heard someone call her from behind.
