After some days……….

 

Today is the day when the team was going to know what is the verdict about their hearing…the team of course faced inquiry, and team showed them the video where Pathan attacked Riya and how all of them pushed him to save her.they are pretty sure they will be successfully out from this, but still there was nervousness in their heart.

The most surprising part of all this was neither Arjun nor Rathore rebuked Riya, not glared at her for not listening to her boss's order, not was asked why she behaved like that during interrogation.they were pretty relaxed during all of this, and it shocked the juniors more than anything.

Riya entered the office, when the others were busy in their usual work. Choree smiled at her, and 2 bosses nodded at her. She settled down and busied in her work. During this investigation, the team was forbidden for any new case, so it was just boring paperwork for all of them. The seniors were also super irritated for this, but they had no choice.but soon Rathore got a call that they all are clear, and the investigation commission was convinced that it was all happened to act defensively, and from the very next day, they will be able to handle new case.

''Ri, who gupta case ki file kahan hain?'' Chotu suddenly asked her, and she was about o say, but no one came out from her mouth. She closed her eyes in irritation, and signaled him.

''kya ishare kar rahi hain, bol na?'' Chotu was not able to understand.

Riya signaled her throat that she cant talk, but Chotu was unable to understand.the team was also confused as why she is behaving like this.

''you cant talk?'' Arjun asked in disbelief to riya, and riya sighed in relief and pointed towards him, signaling that he is right. Actually because of that incident, her voice was gone for some time. Doctor has ordered her to ignore talking too much, so that's why this silence mode.

Everyone looked at her apologetically.Chotu himself went to find that file instead of asking her, not to trouble her more. She was really disturbed from some days, now this…..

Its now lunch time, and Rathore made an announcement.

''team, humara cantin to band hain, so we have to order from outside. So, what is ur order?''

''me 3 burgers.'' Chotu said hungrily, while shree whispered to himself, ''bhukkar kahinka.'' Rathore smiled a little.

''me  pizza.'' Said shree.

''sandwich only.'' Arjun said.

''and badapao for me…what about you riya?'' asked Rathore and everyone looked at her. She again pointed towards Arjun.

''Ri, tu arjun sir ki taraf point kyu kar rahi hain? Unhe kha jayegi kya?'' said Chotu without much thinking and Shree chuckled. Rathore too smiled, while Ariya glared at him.

Riya continued to point toward him, and Arjun said, ''you mean u will have the same thing as me? Sandwich?''

She smiled in relief and nodded. Rathore sensed something and shook his head, telling in his mind, ''yeh Rawte Riya ke baton ko kuch zyada hi samajhne laga hain.''

They finished their meal in peace, and soon it was time for going back to home. Arjun decided to drop riya, as her BMW was in service centre for annual checking.they were driving in silence, when suddenly Riya shook his arm, signaling him to stop the car.

''what is it?'' he was confuse, while riya was unbuckling her seatbelt , trying to get up. He hold her wrist.

''where do you think you are going?'' he said urgently,and riya froze in track, staring at him intently. Arjun quickly freed her wrist. Riya pointed towards an ice crme parlor outside.

''tum ice crme khaogi? Tumhara gala khrab hain.'' He said, and she rolled her eyes.

''I know its not becoz of cold….but why?...oh…for zeeny?'' he remembered all of a sudden and riya's face lighten up. She nodded.

''let me get it. which flavor? Umm…one sec, let me guess….chocolate?'' he remember zeeny mentioned loving chocolate too much. Riya nodded too and he quickly went outside the SUV.

He was soon back with ice crme, and Riya could not help but lick a little from it. Arjun rolled his eyes, but soon he noticed Riya searching for something frantically.

''what are you searching?...tissue?'' there was ice crme on her fingers, and being a hygiene freak, she wont able to stand it. He find a tissue, and himself wiped the crme from her fingers.

''bilkul bachon jaisa behave krti ho tum.'' He said as he continued to clean her fingers.Riya was suddenly stiff under his touch, and he can feel it. He quickly finished it and freed her finger, then started his SUV.

They soon reached her house, and Riya asked through eyes to come inside the house. He answered her unspoken question.

''no ….any other day.''

She gave him another quizzical look, and he knew what is she going to ask.

''I am heading for Juhu ….. in a hurry, so other day.'' He explained and she nodded. Soon she was out of the SUV and went inside her home.

Riya was getting normal by each day to her family. there was no anger in her that her parents hide such a big secret from her, but there was shame for her own reaction over it. She could not meet her parent's eyes after how she behaved with them, but her parents forgave her quickly. She was slowly getting back, moving on, leaving the past behind.

She had take her medicine, and tried to speak something. she was relieved that at least words were coming out from her voice. She slowly started to think about the whole day.her silence mode, and how Arjun sir was the one understanding her signals and unspoken questions.it was strange, but he can understand her so well…..since  when?

The sound of TV took her out from thoughts. She stared at the TV shockingly as the breaking news flashed.

''Bomb blast in Juhu area, 30 men killed, many injured.''

Instantly something clicked on her mind.

'' 'I am heading for Juhu…'' Arjun sir was going there too. That means…..no no no…..

She quickly called to rathore.it was 7 pm at evening and he was busy with shai that time on phone. He was little irritated and worried as she called him.

''Riya?''

''rathore sir…'' she said, avoiding the pain in her throat, ''apne who Juhu beach ki khabar suni?''

''haan…par…''

''Arjun sir wahan gaye the…''

The words were enough to bring the chief back in action. He quickly cut the call and ran towards the SUV like a maniac.

 The team were now at the hospital, standing like a statue, not understanding what to do now…..there was 1000 of people, running, screaming here, all were wounded, some were searching for persons, some were here to collect dead body.

The team started to search arjun from juhu beach, asked and checked everywhere, to the list made for wounded persons, to all the nursing home and hospitals, they tried to track him too, but he was like vanished in air.they searched the area of juhu, searched for his SUV and got it too, parked in front of beach, but no luck. The team were very worried, and now half heartedly thought to check at the morgues one last time.

The 2 person affected the most was Rathore and Riya. While the 1^st was showing care through anger, shouting in mind for such a irresponsible attitude, Riya was feeling a raising panic and fear in heart…too strong that she ever felt in life. Like something is crashing, and she is unable to do anything.she was wishing that he will be safe, and from outside she was looking like she was about to pass out.

It was 11 pm at night, and after much sayings from team, riya went towards her house. She was pacing up and forth in her room in tension, and glancing at her phone after 2 seconds.she was feeling so helpless, and the feeling that if something happened to him, is killing her.

Suddenly her phone rang, and she picked it up even before completing the 1^st ring. It was shree.

''shree?''

''ri, don't worry…we found him.'' The words were only to make her calm.the tension went out, and she slumped on the bed in relief.

''unko kuch mamooli chote ayi hain sar pe, baki sab thik hain. Rathore sir ne kya data unhe, u should have there to witness it…..'' he continued to blabber, but the only words were ringing in her  mind was, he was safe, he was safe.

She don't know when shree cut the call, or she herself cut it. She was feeling so relieved, like she had hold her breath for long and suddenly got it back.and this clicked in her mind.

Why she was so restless?

Its her boss.

Exactly..its only ur boss….why feeling like u are going to lose a close person? A person too dear to u? are you feeling something for him?

No ! no way…I was just tensed, that's it. She fight with her mind, and tried to make her heart understand that its only tension for her boss…little does she know this boss is more to her now.

 

From next day, Riya was keeping a safe distance from this man.she was always busy with choree, or in phone with shai puja, or busy in case files.Arjun was super angry at her, but not understanding why all of a sudden she was behaving like this.maybe she is angry that I was so irresponsible…. He thought and decided to talk to her later.but the day passed and he didn't get a chance to talk. She also left the office with choree, so no chance for talking after work time.

Arjun was thinking about what happened in past days….and her words about love troubled him like nothing.he always thought of her like any other girl, strong and confident but happy and peaceful, but when he think from their goa trip, he forced to change his mind.there was something more about this girl…she research about other person but shut herself when some tries to open her.she fill happiness in other's life, but she herself is afraid of Love…..no, she is not afraid, she hated it.

What is the reason behind her belief? She was talking about losing someone close, may be because she had lost someone, she stopped believing at god and love.may be……

His thoughts stopped as he witnessed Riya coming back to conference table….she is back? Now is the time for talk…he thought and moved towards her.

She had forgot her mobile on the conference hall table, and came back to grab it. She saw arjun's cabin's light is still on, so decided to run quickly.when she was about to go, she noticed arjun was standing at the door.but his appearance didn't trouble her…it was the blood coming out of his bandaged forehead pained her.

''sir….apka bandage.''

He heard her words and quickly his palm went on the wound.he felt wetness on his hand…he forgot to change the dressing.

Riya quickly took out first aid box and placed it on table. She hold arjun's arm, startling him, and make him sit on the chair.

''dhyan ranhna chahiye na…..kitna khoon nikal raha hain…'' she said worriedly as she cleared his wound. Arjun was lost in her face, and slowly tucked a lock of hair behind her ear.

His touch shocked her like nothing, and she was stiff. She felt herself lost in his presence, so she avoided to look in his eyes or face, and concentrated on his wound very hard.

Her behavior angered arjun, now he was sure that she was avoiding him, but why? She quickly bandaged his wound and about to go away, when arjun stood up and hold her wrist.

''tum mujhse bhaag kyu rahi ho?'' he demanded answer ,while she was nervous and tried to freed her wrist.

''sir…let me go….'' She pleaded. Arjun was more angry now, so he let go of her wrist and hold her waist instead, crashing her on his chest. She was too shocked to say or react, her heart was thumping vigorously.

''subah se tumhara yeh behavior notice kr raha hoon…what is the problem haan?'' his each anger tone created more trouble in her senses.her whole body was shaking with fear, or nervousness. She was never so close to him…..and her feelings were too confuse to make her understand what is going on in her mind.she tried more to freed herself from his strong hold, but the more she tried, the more his hold tightened.

''let me go….pls…'' she was only managed to whisper.she could not able to look in his eyes, which were glaring at her right now.Arjun was so close to her, their lips were only inches away, forehead nearly touching.Arjun stared at her shaking figure in his arms, and whispered in her ears.

''tum mujhse bhaag rahi ho?''

She didn't react at the words, but her heart was saying many things inside. She continued to look at the floor.

''look at me.'' He again whispered in her ears. His voice in her ears send shivers in her whole body. Her knees gave away, and she was thankful to him that he was holding her.

''look at me Riya.'' He said again, this time too urgently. She didn't look in him, so he placed his hot fingers on her chin, and make her face him. His touches were making the matters worse….heart was now going to explode now, any moment.

''don't do it again….. you got me?'' he ordered, and she continued to stare at him, his coal black eyes. It always held anger, but today it held many emotions, emotions she is scared to face.

Arjun stared at girl shaking in his arms….the innocence in her face, the beauty, her eyes, her smell, everything is creating something in his heart. She never looked so good….it never felt so right. His eyes fell on her lips….and he leaned on it.

Riya's heart were now at the verge of explode as she saw Arjun was about to kiss her. She closed her eyes in fear, not wanting to face what is coming next. She is not in a position to even think of right and wrong….

Arjun leaned on her, and saw she was closing her eyes.he stopped for a moment, then placed his lips on her soft ones.

Blood rushes through riya'a body as she felt his lips on her.she don't know if she should fight this…she could gather any courage to fight it. And in a corner of her heart, it is feeling too perfect, too right.

He slowly started to kiss her,nibbling her lower lip, and she remained in shock and unresponsive.but the moment was interrupted as his cell phone ring.

The call jerked Riya back to sense, and she pushed Arjun away from her. She clenched her fist, till the nail were hurting her palm.Arjun looked at her with shock.

''I am sorry….. really sorry…'' she mumbled and sprinted towards the door.

Arjun stood in shock as what just happened now…..he lost his control and scared her? And why on earth she is apologizing? He ran fingers in hair in frustration. Suddenly he cursed the stupid phone call ruining his mood.

All of a sudden a small smile crept on his lips.

 

We can see there is man of 30s, watching a video of a police interrogation. He clutched the remote tightly in his hold as he witnessed the girl in the video is provoking the man, and the man attacked to her.then 4 men came to her rescue and they all pushed the old man to the opposite glass wall.

The man paused the video on the last part, and zoomed the picture on the girl. The he made a silent promise to himself.

''Ms Riya Mukherjee, tumne mere abba ko mujhse cheena hain. Yeh wada hain mera tumse, iss baar Sikandar tumhare apne ko nahi cheenega, balki tum khud iss baar iss duniya se alvida kahogi, ye vaada hain mera.''
