Armaan enter in his room and looked at ridhima sitting on the bed with head bow down. Armaan closing the door walk towards the bed when ridhima moved and forward a glass of milk towards Armaan. Armaan smile at her taking it in his hands. Ridhima keep standing their not knowing what to do next and what not to do. she wasn't that nervous now after hearing anji and Sonali words about Armaan but the bit of nervousness left in her being a new bride it's her birth right after all.
But then she looked at Armaan who have forwarded her the same glass of milk that few sec back she have handled him. She was confused that she lifted her eyes to look at him trying to know what Armaan wanted to do. But hen getting no hit from his smiling face she asked "kya hua..."
Armaan replied her "nothing it's just that... mein jaanta Hu ki tumne theek se kuch khaya nahi tha jab hum sab dinner kar rahe the family ke sath toh ye..."forwarding the glass to her he said "ye tum pi lo bhuk lagi hogi tumhe" ridhima shake her head in no "nahi vo... abhi nahi lag rahi aur ye ...ye vo apke liya hai" Armaan smile again at her reply "i know mera liya hai par tumhe abhi nahi lagi par thodi der mein lag jayegi aur phir already itna time ho raha hai and being in new house tumhe abhi thodi i guess hesitation hogi i know nai jagha hoti hai toh ye tum pi lo" Armaan again forwarded the glass to her. to which ridhima denied again "par mein kaise...aap ne bhi theek se nahi khaya tha... aapko bhi toh bhook lagi hogi" to which Armaan denied "nahi vo mujhe book nahi lagi" bit his stomach voiced his hunger making a sound in silent room "shayad aapka tummy apki baat nahi maanta" saying so ridhima laughed a little letting all her bit of nervousness fly away from window.
Armaan felt being caught red handed Armaan "toh kya karen niche bhi nahi ja sakte dadi ji aai thi thodi der pehle wapas as unki car mein problem thi... unhone dekha toh" ridhima understand his unsaid words then said "koi nahi Armaan aap ye pi lijiya" but Armaan denied "nahi aise nahi" then his eyes falls on a cup kept near a study table with coffee maker "yes... we will divide it... best solution" Armaan move towards it and then taking the cup kept there Armaan divide the milk half-half.
Walking back to ridhima Armaan forwarded one glass to her while having his other half in his coffee cup. ridhima with smile hold the glass then Armaan raise his cup and raise a toast saying "to this new phase of life" saying this Armaan lightly hit his cup with ridhima's glass and hearing him ridhima can't control her laughter "sachi Armaan toast with milk" Armaan lightly scratch his head behind with sheepish smile. "Well that's all we have now". They both smiled and have their own share of milk with cheering about new phase of life.
ridhima "thank you so much Armaan " Armaan who was keeping his cup in a side look at her in surprise "thank u kyun" asked Armaan being confused of receiving a thanks "for making all this so easy for me... trying to ease this natural nervousness and lightening the atmosphere" said ridhima.
"It's my pleasure ma'am Armaan bows in front of her a little dramatically" making her share a laugh with him.
After few min Armaan spoke up "tum vo washroom mein change kar lo... mom ne kuch night dress rakhi hain wahan Jo theek lage change into it... thak bhi gai hongi tum" riddhima nodded her head and moved to washroom for changing the cloths while Armaan changed in room only. After sometime ridhima came out wearing a full length nighty with all jewelers and heavy makeup was gone still making her look beautiful. Only her mangalsutr was there in her neck seeing Armaan already change ridhima stood by a side of a bed looking on it.
Armaan "ridhima i will be on couch u get on bed and her take the comforter" said Armaan giving her a comforter from pulling drawer in bed and taking his too. Ridhima stop him from taking out another pullover.
Armaan look at her in confusion but ridhima didn't give voice to her words but just spoke her thoughts with her action as she set his and her pillow on the bed itself with the comforter.
Armaan understood her act "it's okay ridhima i can sleep there... we will take our relation slowly and gradually there is no need to hurry for anything" ridhima with low voice spoke up " nahi... vo aap yahan so jaiye... i know we will take it slowly but i can trust you... hmmm we both can sleep here... and that couch won't be comfortable" Armaan smile at her and then both laid on their own side facing their back to each other.
Both of them were thinking of these 10 days since the time they both have meet each other. From the beginning of this small journey till few hours ago they both got to know about each other little by little.
There is a long way to go with each other to discover one another in all way they can. Starting with being friends is a small step that one take and their relation to uncover different emotions of one's heart. Our parents know us inside out but sometimes few of our honest reactions comes out being with friends freely without a tension of getting scolding and getting bonded in some situations. But being with friends let your devil inside you jump out which remain silently settled in some corner in front of the parents. In front of parents every child remains angel but with friends that angel say bye welcoming the devil out.
Starting with friendship will help them to be themselves with each other letting their real emotions out without any hesitation and no fakeness. There are friends with whom you can react in any way that comes to you foremost in the situation you stuck in but with other relations we have to keep our actions under a watch light so that we don't get messed up gaining bad light on us.
Ridhima was thinking about how armaan worked so much for her smile. Bringing happiness on her door steps without her asking. The efforts that armaan took to fulfil her wish of getting married from her parents' house taking the responsibilities of all the things from decoration to caterer taking care of all the securities from workers with ID to the rechecking of decoration's strength (chandeliers).
Not only armaan but all the people those are integrated part of this family all have been a great motivator and supporter. Gang welcomed her into their gang with open heart fulfilling the place of all the missing friends from her life that she lost the touch with in past bringing her to ease with them in swift moment cracking jokes telling all their pranks and most importantly about armaan who's was the center of all talks making her familiar with him and his nature with little-little talks leg-pulling. The way karan papa bring her to ease of not to call him uncle or boss but papa' that day she felt she found her fatherly figure back in her life. Her mother-in-law if thought in a typical way then she ought to be a strict ruling demanding mother-in-law but nothing of that sort of greeted her on way , but there she was with totally an opposite of what these daily soap shows. She was a mature loving caring and greathearted lady who made all her insecurities walk away from her of all the responsibilities to be taken. He got her friends back after a long time with the help of armaan who invited them to come and meet them on their sangeet. Ridhima smiled feeling that with armaan she not only tied a relation of a husband wife with him but also tied a knot with her mother-in-law and father-in-law as her own mother father and bumper package of all the lost friends with addition of new gang including. With her didi jiju are wrapping it all with them.
With all these moments that she got in her way from that word that she whisper back 10 days yes' for the relation with armaan till todays conversation with armaan few minute back just symbolizes that this Wedlock with not be the "BACKSEAT TO ANY OF HER DREAMS" but this it will be a "DRIVING SEAT OF HER EVERY DREAM" With armaan holding her hands changing gears of life with her and family supporting her like a stepney with every car with advantage to her she got lot of them.
Both of them were not sleepy at all soon ridhima turn back looking towards armaan while on the same time opposite to what the films show armaan too turn at the same time. Both of them looked at each other then turning both lay on their back looking at celling above. Armaan spoke up "Abhi Soi nahi". "Hmm vo bus aabhi nind aai nahi" ridhima replied now staring at her hands. Armaan smile "Nai jagha hain is liya... Kuch chaiye tumhe." Ridhima oppose him "Nahi vo... I'm comfortable with place... I don't have that uneasiness for sleep in new places." Armaan questioned her again "toh phir kuch soch rahi thi" saying this he turn towards her on his side with one hand below his head and other on bed near his stomach folded from elbow. Ridhima to turn towards armaan saying "Kuch nahi bus soch rahi thi ki shaadi ke bus do logo ko nahi balki kai logo ko sath mein jodti hain. I mean ek ladki ka rishte bus uske husband ke sath nahi uske sahi ghar walo se jhudta hain... bus ek Biwi hi nahi balki ek bahu bhi banti hain.. Aur bhi kitne rishte judhte hain."
Armaan "vo toh hai Sirf ladki ke hi nahi balik ladke ke bhi ye sab rishte judhte hain. I guess tabhi ladke ke pariwar ko dekha jata hain kyun ki rishte nibhana toh sab ke sath hi padhta hain after all. Par tum chinta na karo hum sab hain na tumhare sath sab kaam apne aap hota chala jayega apne time par tumhe bahut jayada kuch nahi karna bus Choti-Choti cheejen badlengi jo natural hain par jayada bada badlaw nahi is baat ke ilawa ki aab Sirf bhaiya Bhabhi hi nahi hum sab bhi tumhare sath khade honge har khushi gum mein." Ridhima smiled at him "aur mein bhi tumhare sath hongi jab bhi tumhe kisi ka sath chaiye hoga kisi bhi baat ke liya"
Armaan spoke "chalo isse baat pe ek promise karte hain new found Dosti ke sath-sath ki hum dono aapni sari problem ek dusre ke sath batenga bina kisi hesitation aur bina soche ki dusra kya sochega. Promise." Asked armaan forwarding his hand towards her keeping his palm open near her head that was kept on bed. Ridhima with nod put her hand in his hands indicating her full contribution towards the promise adding "aur is rishte ko nibhane ke liya dono haath pakad ke sath-sath chalenga." Armaan too nodded his head with small whisper "promise".
Holding hands while promising only they both fall asleep slipping in their dream world.
Next Day
Ridhima woke up first and saw they both are sleeping holding each other's from last night when they fall asleep while talking, she smiled then careful took her hand from armaan's grip. Armaan too woke up felling little disturbance. His eyes fell on ridhima who was looking at him with smiling face.
Ridhima - good morning...!!
Armaan nodded his head with smiling face - Hmmm... Good morning..!!
"Time kya hua hain...!" Asked armaan opening his eyes with bit uneasiness which were heavy due to sleep "7 am" came the reply to which armaan asked her "Tum jaldi kyun uth gai, itni late soye the raat ko hum log."
Ridhima replied "vo mujhe niche jana padegi na new bahu thing you know" armaan shake his head hearing her and said "ridhima do it later have sleep for another hour. Waise bhi koi nahi utha hoga." To which ridhima tried to counter "par armaan". Armaan silenced her saying "kuch nahi get sleep" ordered her strictly. Ridhima again lay back on the bed armaan put pullover on her. Ridhima was looking at him with expression of question when armaan kept his hand on her eyes making her shut her eyes "Go to Sleep ridhima you must be tiered from all functions". Then he removed his hand from her eyes and again she open her eyes looking at him. Armaan once again repeated his antics putting his hand on her eyes making her close her eyes asking her to sleep then removed his eyes to see her not opening her eyes he too fall asleep with ridhima again.
It was 8:30am now when armaan woke up to look beside him to find ridhima sleeping peacefully with cute pout on her face. Armaan smiled looking at her then stepping out of the bed he moved towards wardrobe taking out his cloths he moved to washroom to freshen up. It was after 20 min armaan walk out of washroom read for start of the day. Ridhima was still sleeping so armaan walked towards bed to wake her up. Settling down beside her he patted her cheeks to wake her up calling her name, after 2 patting she opened her eyes to see armaan all ready for the day. She instantly sat up on the bed "aapne mujhe uthaya kyun nahi. Aap taiyar bhi ho Gaye aur mein so rahi thi. Kitna late ho Gaya hain. Sab ya sochega niche." Armaan frown hearing her non-stop babbling in worry without any valid reason. "Shhh...! koi kuch nahi sochega. Mein abhi 20 min pehle utha hun socha ready hoke tumhe utha dunga. Chill koi bhi tumhe datne nahi wala hain relax tum fresh ho jao phir dono niche chalenga. Hmmm..!" armaan said her making her relax a bit while caressing her hands.
Once ridhima was ready both of them step out of their room descending the stairs they both reach down to greet karan nandani who were settled on the sofa set having their morning tea.
Ridhima touch their feet to which they happily gave her blessing with warning "ridhima ye sab nahi chalenga." Making ridhima scared so much every first day of her new life. "I am sorry maa aage se aisa nahi hoga." Making her more scare they said "Good hum ye bilkul bardash nahi karenga." Continuing him nandani to spoke "Hain hamare ghar mein ye bilkul nahi chalenga" ridhima was about to cry "I am so sorry maa" when armaan got the confusion that is created out of the simple situation which he tried to ease "Maa papa aap log bhi na dekh ridhima ko pehle din hi rula diya". "Arye hum ne kya kiya." Said karan. "Papa aap log ridhima ko pair chune se mana kar rahe ho aage ke liya aur ye kuch aur hi soch rahi hain." Ridhima looked at him with confusion while nandani got what armaan wanting to say with eyes indicating time.
Nandani walk towards ridhima hugging her wiping her tears that were about to come out from her eyes, kissing her forehead "ridhima bache hum aapko pair chune ke liya mana kar rahe the... aap hamari beti hi ho beta aur betiya pair nahi chuti hain Sirf gale milti hain. Humein aur koi problem nahi hain. Jab armaan late tak so sakta hain toh aap kyun nahi hmmm."
Karan too got the confusion so he to walked to them then hugging her patting her head "Aur kya aur phir ye aab se aapka hi ghar hain aur apne ghar mein koi formalities nahi. Aapne ghar mein Sirf freedom se jeeya jata hain Kisi boundation se nahi hmm..!" ridhima smile at her in-laws then hugging them once again she sniffed once while nodding. "Kya maa pehle din rula diya aapne ridhima ko bhaiya Bhabhi bhi datenga mujhe." He said dramatically to hear shubhankar "Koun datega mera buddy ko".
All turn around to see shubhankar keerti coming in "bhaiya Bhabhi" armaan went to hug them. From back karan spoke "Ye armaan ko tum datoge na". "Mein... mein kyun datunga apne buddy ko papa." Asked shubhankar to get a reply from him "kyun ki isne ridhima ko pehle hi din rula diya". To which armaan made a big O shape mouth "haw...! Papa... Bhaiya papa jhuth bol rahe hain... mein ne kuch nahi kiya sab maa papa ne kiya hain. Sachi Bhabhi..." said armaan looking at his Bhabhi with great hope in his eyes so they can believe him not his papa. Keerti smiled at armaan's cute hopeful face looking at her with pleading eyes to believe him caressing his face "I know armaan... Ridhima kyun roi hogi". "Aapko pata hain" asked armaan surprise. "Hain...!" said keerti. "Kaise".
"Pehle din maa papa ne keerti ko bhi rulaya tha" armaan then look at his parents hearing shubhankar. "Hawww... maa papa... aapne Bhabhi ko rulaya."
Keerti hold armaan's ear "Nautanki... maa papa ka pyaar hi toh hain ye. Mujhe bhi pair chune ko mana kiya tha maa papa ne and I know ridhima ko bhi ye hi bola hoga."
Ridhima who was till now standing there hearing one person to other nodded her head in yes. "Dekha" said keerti looking at armaan. "Aur jor se padko iska kaan" requested nandani to his rescue his bhaiya came "kyun mera buddy ko koi kuch nahi bolega." Armaan move towards him hugging him "I love you bhaiya... bus aap hi pyaar karte ho mujhse."
Now both keerti nandani hold his either ears scolding him with all love "acha...!"
Armaan wince like a baby "arye acha sorry...! Aap log bhi karte ho bus aab kaan chodo Na..."
"Jao chod diya aaj ridhima ke liya warna tum uski baatein nahi sun paoge." Said nandani "hain aur meri Behan ko acha nahi lagega." Spoke keerti.
Moving towards her keerti hugged her. Following the lead shubhankar to hugged her blessing her.
All were by now near dining table and then settle down for breakfast. Ridhima made some sweet for while rest of the breakfast was already settled by the helpers of the house.
Praising her little cooking they gave Neg (Gift) to her with lots of love and blessing.
Karan gave her some cash while nandani gave her khandani Bangles and armaan gave a set of earrings.
After little chat ridhima went to her parents' home for a day time with shubhankar and keerti for her pagphere rasam where gang and her old friends were waiting for her already for teasing her, pulling her legs. Whole day they all did Masti bringing keerti with them not letting her to be left out while shubhankar went to his office.
