Weird Encounter

“Yuckkk” she moved backward. Dev is right, the person is so indecent. Emptying whole bottle of whiskey and then making it fall down. Must be completely not in control, manner less person. She hated to encounter such person. He definitely needs to be thrown out of mansion after the marriage.

She was still looking at the bottle when she heard steps of man coming down. As she looked up, her eyes got stuck on the messy man coming down, he was not even stable as he walked down and was somehow supporting himself with railing. He looked at her and smiled. Her heart as if stopped beating or not at its place. How could it be. She was not at all the person to have stupid feeling due to man and that too due to messy drunken man. NO WAY!!!!

Stumbling he at last reached the floor. Geet simply stood there, not knowing why was she staying there to see what was he up to. Stumbling he sat down on the stairs and picked the empty whiskey bottle, looked at her and gave silly lost smile to her. Why did she feel that, this man who looked not even capable of standing and sitting properly has ten times more confidence and courage than anyone at this time present in this house has? He had no shame he was in that state.

“Inspi…. Inspi… Inspiration” and he showed her the empty whiskey bottle

“Bottle empty…. Still no… no…. no inspiration… You” he pointed finger at her and suddenly stood straight. And before Geet could realize, he swiftly pulled her to him by his one hand and glued to him. Their eyes met, he looked deep into her eyes and she was as if flowing in his deep eyes. Geet, in any other time would have slapped the person pulling her to him this way. But now she could not. She didn’t have the power to get out of this strong heavenly hold. Instead she was held mentally by his deep look. He pulled her closer and placed his lips on hers. Her heart was beating the way she has never ever imagine it would. He bit her lips and she simply parted it. She could not deny or loose this moment. Her brain was warning her, this is not her, how dare he, but the desire that this man built was powerful beyond her control. He pushed his tongue inside hers, and took it to every part as if he owned every bit of it. She gave in and he kept going in and she lost control and pushed her tongue inside his. His breath was all filled with smell of alcohol, his mouth tasted sour of whiskey, yet it was magical as he held her ever so possessively.

He separated after a long while and it was then Geet came to sense

“What the HELL!!!” “Inspiration…. You” he smiled “found” he was completely in effect of alcohol

“Rubbish you chepo… How dare you…No one has guts to do this to me”

“I have” he sat down on the stairs “You have no guts. You enjoyed, have guts to accept” he challenged her

“I have my class and standard. You forced me. How cheap. I will throw you out, the day I come in this house”

He simply laughed “How” he asked with lips as well as his palm movement

“I am going to marry Dev Khurana”

“What?? Chii… yuck.. so youuuu aareee like himmmm.”

He then looked at her keenly and then started hitting his head. Is he mad, she thought and at same time he utter

“Mad head…. Why choose her inspiration” he hit his own head. She was really getting mad at him and this Inspiration rant was killing her

He then again looked at her from top to bottom “Plastic woman. Plastic doll you are”

“I hate you” she blurted “Same pinch… Inspiration” and he took his Empty Whiskey bottle and went upstairs. Geet kept watching him, somewhere deep down making sure he reaches up safely without falling down.

Geet kept standing there like statue. Not believing a drunken man simply came, pulled her to him and kissed her. And she kissed him back. YUCKK, how could she. She was woman of control; her all moves were calculated. Then how could she? Why was she still feeling his hold, it was lingering? No way, these are stupid things, not at all part of her dictionary. She was here to marry Dev Khurana and make the merger of two company, in favor of Handa Group.

She did not come here for this stupid kiss from a drunken mad man and be held in his arms. Whoever he is, she will throw him out of the Mansion, immediately after her marriage with Dev. Charity, my foot.

“Geet… here you are” Dev said panting “I have been looking for you all around”

“Yeah was just strolling and reached here” She somehow did not find it important to mention the weird encounter to Dev.

But Dev look worried. “You did not go upstairs or encounter that man, right?”

“No” Geet simply lied. She did not need Dev for her to handle that mad man, she can handle such person herself. Somewhere deep down the encounter was little too personal.

Both families had some formal talks after that. Geet though pretended to be present was lost, lost in the kiss of that man, his hold. She was angry on that man and herself. How could she be lost in these silly things.

As they left for home, Geet was trying to convince herself – “This is temporary feel Geet, it was unexpected and you are in shock. Don’t be foolish to take otherwise. That too a shabby drunken man. No, not at all.”

Geet then became completely busy in making plan of the deals that will happen as part of merger. How much each percentage each company will participate. In name of getting marriage, she cannot get loose on the deals.

“Geet, darling at least enjoy the new relation you will be getting into. Deals will keep on happening. Marriage doesn’t happen every day Dear” Explained Ranoo.

She wanted her daughter to feel excited about her marriage, just like daughters of her friends did. But Geet was different, super ambitious and focused. Day dreaming about Dev was not her. Sometimes, if she got lost it was that weird encounter with that weirdo. And she hated it, hated that man to core.

Geet was busy in work and thus meeting with Dev did not cross her mind. Actually she did not realize this to be part of marriage alliance. Ragini was getting worried

“Dev, do I have to teach you each step. Geet has not met you even once. Where you not able to impress her with your looks and gesture.”

“She is ready for alliance Mom. Just that she is too busy”

“Busy? For her would-be. Don’t let her be. Give her a call, invite for coffee somewhere or lunch date.”

Then they heard heavy footsteps from stairs

“Uff… Mumma teachy teachy baby to walky walky” he taunted with smile

“Mind your business Mannu” said irritated Dev

“This all is my business.. something cooking up” he smiled and shook his head to tease them further

“Mannu” came strong voice of Sanjeev “All you know is to spoil the environment. You are destructing yourself. Let others live”

He came near Sanjeev “I am destructing myself or not is my problem Mr. Khurana. If I am destructing myself then how do I let others live in peace… chh chh chh.. not done.”

“Mannu we are not interfering in your life then why do you?” complained Ragini. He went to Ragini and bent to her

“You are not interfering because you just can’t” and before Sanjeev could give him lecture on speaking rudely to his wife he left to kitchen and “OUT EVRYONE” he said in one strong tone and everyone left the kitchen.

But as he was in Kitchen trying to cook something for himself, Sanjeev came behind

“You are no use person Mannu. At least Dev is focusing on business, trying to put effort to bring revenue. What do you do, none of us know, wander randomly, drink every weekend and your useless hobby and speaking rude to all. See your state.”

“Mr. Khurana, I said no disturbance during my cooking. I need to focus.” He then turned to Sanjeev

“I can make more drama if you want it that way. Trust me you won’t like it.” Sanjeev left, knowing he is going to get good taunt from Ragini and Dev.

Dev called Geet. She was busy but still she thought that few more meetings will give her more idea. She laughed on herself – How do girls get excitement of meeting boyfriend or fiancé, as if they have no other agenda in life. But all her excitement ends up to her deals. Is there any problem with her, she doubted?

“I will pick you up” she said “Anyways I will have to cross your place, so I will pick you up”

“OK” they disconnected. But Geet was held with observations. Dev Khurana, the name that she has heard, didn’t sound that level of leadership quality as she has heard. He sounded more like a follower than leader. But then she shrugged off. Maybe she is thinking too much, he is Dev Khurana after all.

As Geet entered the Huge gate of Khurana Mansion, she could not miss the jeep and the person in that as it passed her. Her heart skipped a beat. What was in that man that he took her attention. Hatred, she confirmed to herself. Today also she did not miss, he was much better than that day but still not as professionally dressed and business man like her Dad or Dev or other of her known would dress. He was simply dressed in some office going attire. Ohh, he was just staying in Khurana Mansion, not any owner of it or member of it. He must be working in some place as average employee.

The person was complete opposite to what she is. They are Poles Apart in every way.

Geet shook her head, too much thinking on that manner less man. She need to focus on her Would be. The great Dev Khurana.

She picked Dev and they left for café. On the way, “That man in your house, why do you not throw him out of mansion”

“Not in my control Geet. Dad can’t throw him out due to his promise to Grandpa” Geet could feel the hatred he had for that man and that day she also had seen the hatred that man had for Dev.

Geet left it there and they reached café to know little more about each other.

One month passed and today there was meeting between Handa’s and Khurana’s for the merger Deal. Geet and Mohinder from Handas. Dev, Sanjeev and Ragini Khurana from Khurana’s
