               Part – 58

Geet is dejected… she has made a mistake by marrying Maan in a hurry… Maan was not ready for the marriage because he wanted his daughter back more than anything else… and he is right.. Geet unnecessarily forced him into marrying him thereby making him distance from his daughter… now he has more trouble getting back Mansi… it’s all Geet’s fault… she has made a terrible mistake and she has to do something to rescue Maan from this….

Geet: ek minute, you can’t punish Maan for my mistake

Tara: what are you talking about?

Geet: it’s just me, I’m the culprit, it’s all my fault, it’s all a one sided love affair, I cheated Maan and dceived him to marry me, he was not ready for marriage, so I made a plan with dadi to fool him that it’s a nakli engagement ceremony for the sake of myself to fool my family and made him do this wedding…

He has not accepted this wedding, he considers all this as a drama by me to threaten him, so he has not changed, he is still that loving father of Mansi, I promise I’ll leave Maan at the earliest, you promise to give him his Mansi back as soon as I leave

Tara: what? How can I believe you?

Geet: you can ask Maan if you want, he doesn’t even know that I’m here

Tara calls Maan….

Tara: halo Maan

Maan: is everything ok? Mansi teek toh haina?

Tara: why are you asking like that? Do you think I won’t take care of her property?

Maan: no, you have called me out of the blue, you never call me

Tara: it’s not me, Mansi wants to talk to her papa, seems like she is missing you suddenly

Maan: I too miss her a lot, you know I’m stuck in Bangalore, or else I would be there by evening

Tara: Mansi, it’s your papa

Mansi: halo papa

Maan: halo darling, what do you want? Papa wants to get a present for you from Bangalore

Mansi is eating her chocolate…

Mansi likes them very much… she wants more…

Mansi: chocolate

Maan: only chocolate

Mansi: hmm one two

Mansi takes out her fingers and starts counting…

Mansi: eight chocolate

Maan: bas, itna hi

Mansi is confused….

Geet takes a doll and shows it to her…

Mansi thinks Geet is asking her to play with the doll, that’s her favorite game…

Mansi puts the mobile away and runs towards Geet..

Maan: halo, Mansi, halo

Tara: Maan, she has gone to play with her doll

Maan is disappointed…

Maan: ok then, I’ll come on Friday itself

Maan cuts the call….

Tara believes Geet a little….

Geet: so, what do you say? Deal?

Tara: let’s first see what you do, then I’ll have no problem, Mansi will automatically go to her rightful place, her father’s laps

Geet is happy that she could bring back Maan’s happiness somehow… she thinks it’s the best thing for Maan and Mansi…

Geet leaves with a heavy heart…

She goes back to Hoshiarpur instead of Delhi…

Maan is back on Thursday night itself… he informed Geet about his early arrival so that Geet would come back on time…

But Geet has not come back…

Maan is surprised and confused… what happened to her suddenly? Maybe she is on the way…

Maan calls Geet…

Maan: Geet , where are you?

Geet: at home

Maan: what do you mean by that? This is your home, you forgot your husband as soon as you went to Hoshiarpur?

Geet: I thought it’s better for me to stay here till you are ready

Maan: what? I thought you were happy to be with me

Geet: I will come back after a while, maa and papa want me to stay longer

Maan: ok, I’m going to see Mansi, you come back on Monday

Geet,: ok, you take care of Mansi

Maan feels strange that Geet is sounding very different today…

That Monday too Geet doesn’t come back….

Maan keeps pestering her to come back soon…

Geet tells some excise every time..

She says she is going to visit her mausi, then a week passes like that….

Next week too Geet has not come back nor does she shows any interest in coming back…

Maan even tells her that Dadi is suspecting him for Geet not returning and is indirectly threatening him to be good to her bahu…

Geet says that her mother is little sick this time….

Maan is missing Geet very much and is also doubtful about her behavior…

Maan had some important work at KC which kept him busy all the time…

Another week passes and it’s weekend…

Maan then goes to Shimla… he is welcomed happily by Tara which is also a shocker, for Tara has found something about Dadima’s wedding plans and she has been very critical about it.. she kept suspecting Maan and was very particular about the time Mansi spent with Maan.. she shortened it a lot with different excuses on different days… She complained about Maan not taking care of Mansi well and he is not yet ready to take care of her full-time, whenever Maan told that he is ready to take Mansi to Delhi as they have already agreed… She also said that Dadima wouldn’t be looking for a bride without Maan’s consent and Maan is hiding something from her…

Maan stays happily with Mansi for the whole weekend and when he goes to leave her at Tara’s place , Tara says that she is thinking about sending Mansi with Maan for a trial of two three days soon before Maan could take her with him…

Maan is so happy… he can’t believe it…
