Before heading ahead, feel the necessity for some clarification…

Tara’s childhood was similar to foster care, though they lived with their uncle…

She has experienced an awful single parent childhood, in her case she didn’t have her father and that affected her rights to demand anything of her liking like any other kid, and with Mansi, without a mother would affect Mansi’s right to mother’s love, that’s Tara’s fear…

Tara doesn’t want to snatch Mansi from her father, she just wants to secure Mansi’s childhood happiness, Tara believes that only she can replace her sisters place in Mansi’s life, so she thinks that only she could give unconditional mother’s love which Mansi deserves…

Tara has always been protective about her sister and now she is extra protective about her sister’s daughter in her absence…

I mostly don’t believe in negative characters but only think about situational negativity in the characters..

Tara is right in her way, in her mind.. she has no intention to hurt Maan or even Geet for that matter..

She is trying to secure Mansi’s future and that obsession has made her lose her morals… that’s it…

And for Maan being soft towards Tara is because she has taken care of Mansi like her own daughter and she has promised to send Mansi home once she is two years old, so Tara is obviously going to give Mansi back in a matter of months according to Maan…

Initially even Maan thought that he would never marry again for the sake of Mansi, but Geet changed his notion about a step mother totally, and he himself never thought that he would fall for Geet and marry her for her happiness… he has no control over his actions when it comes to Geet…

Even now he is trying to protect Geet and thereby their marriage from unwanted troubles…

A good start ensures success and that’s why Maan wants a good start to their married life…. Having lost his wife once, he is scared to take any risk this time… he knows the importance of Geet in his life and he would not want to burden her with his past problems and there by scare her away from him…

At Hoshiarpur…

Geet has locked up herself in her room…

She tells everyone that she is feeling sick and so she needs to rest and she keeps thinking about what will she do without Maan and Mansi?

Geet has always been highly impulsive while taking her decisions and that has hurt her pretty badly….

This time too she didn’t think a second about Maan before taking the decision to leave the marriage…

How would she thinks about Maan when she has not even thought about herself?

What a fool she is to think that Maan would be happy without her?

On the way back Maan calls Geet…

Maan: Geet, I have a good news for you

Maan sounds pretty excited… Geet is happy for him…

Geet: what’s it Maan?

Maan: I’ll tell you when you come, you wait till then, I want to share it with you in person

Geet: it’s ok Maan, I can’t wait, please tell me now itself

Maan: I’ll be there by evening, you can come and get the news if you want, are you still on your way?

Geet: woh mein

Maan: Geet, tum kahan ho?

Geet doesn’t answer. .

Maan: Geet, where are you? Tell me Geet, tell me you are at KM only? I don’t want to hear anything else

Geet: nahi

Maan: what?

Geet: I’m here only

Maan: but Geet, I asked you to come back

Geet: I’m not feeling well, that’s why

Maan: Geet, I think you are hiding something from me, what’s wrong Geet? Tumme ho kya gaya hai?

Geet: it’s just the cold, I’ll come when I get better

Maan: don’t lie Geet, there is something wrong with you

Geet: aaisa kuch nahi hai

Maan: I don’t believe it

Geet: aap, meri fikar mat karo, aur bathao kya good news hai?

Maan: woh toh mein phone mein nahi batha sakta, tum Delhi aao aur jaanlo

Geet: par Maan

Maan: see you soon Geet

Maan cuts the call ..

Maan goes to Hoshiarpur straight from Shimla…

He is worried that something is wrong with Geet, she sounds very upset…

Maan is at the Handa home…

Rajji: jijaji, aayiye

Maan: Geet kahan hai?

Rajji: woh toh apne kamrein mein hi hai, usski tabyat karaab hai

Maan: teek hai, mein jaake dektha hoon

Rajji: ji

Maan goes up to meet Geet ..

He goes and knocks the door…

Geet: Rajji, mujhe sone do

Maan keeps knocking harder…

Geet comes and opens the door…

She is shocked to see Maan…

Maan pushes open the door harshly and gets in…

Geet steps back…

Maan closes the door and locks it… .

Geet: aap yahan kaise?

Maan: you didn’t expect me to come… haina Geet?

Geet: nahi, aap achanak aagaye

Maan: par tum toh mere aane se kush nahi hai

Geet tries to smile…. : Nahi toh, mein kush hoon

Maan catches hold of her and makes her look at him..

Maan: mujhe dekhke bathao Geet, kya tum kush ho?

Geet can’t look into his eyes for the fear of breaking down…

Geet: woh meri tabiyat kharab hai, issiliye

Maan: kissi aur se ye joot bolna, mein jaanta hoon ki kuch toh hua hai jo tumme zyada pareshaan kar raha hai, bathao Geet, kya hua hai?

Geet: kuch nahi

Maan: toh chalo, ghar jaatge hai

Geet: ghar?

Maan: haan, hummare ghar

Geet: mein nahi aa sakti

Maan is shocked to hear that..

Maan: tum kya keh rahi ho Geet?

Geet: yahi mera ghar hai

Maan: ye kaise bakwaas baat kar rahi ho tum?

Geet: bakwaas nahi, mujhe ab sab samajh mein aagaya, woh ghar mera nahi hai, woh aapka ghar hai, woh Mansi ka ghar hai, wahan mere koi jagah nahi hai

Maan: what do you mean?

Geet: aap ko yahan nahi aana chahiye Maan, aap jao apne beti ke paas, aur uske saath kush raho, aap ke zindagi mein meri koi jagah nahi hai

Maan: aaise kisne kaha Geet? Bathao, ye tum nahi keh rahi ho, ye kisne kaha Geet?

Geet: kissi ko kehne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai, mein sab samajh gayi hoon

Maan: tum kya samajh gayi?

Geet: I don’t deserve it, mujhe koi haq nahi hai, aap chale jao yahan se, mein nahi chahti ki meri wajah se aap ko koi takleef ho, mein apne kushi ke liye aap ki khushiyon ko cheen nahi sakti

Maan: ye tumme ho kya gaya hai Geet? Tum kaise kaise batein kar rahi ho

Geet: you deserve to be happy with your daughter Maan, I don’t want to be the reason for your separation from Mansi, you forget about me Maan, I’m not the one for you, you will find someone who can take care of you and Mansi better, I’ve lost, I’m a loser, you leave me alone

Geet tries to get off his hold .

Maan tightens his hold…

Maan: you went to Shimla, haina?

Geet is scared… she remains silent…

Maan: Geet, mein tumse kuch pooch raha hoon, jawab do

Geet can’t answer that. . she knows that he won’t like her going to meet Tara. ..

Maan: ab mujhe sab samajh mein aagaya, toh tum Tara se milli aur usse baat ki, haina?
