IG; Let's bring in the lone survivor.....name is Peter.

(A few minutes later a burly guy entered the room.)

IG ; I hope you're feeling better sir , now can you explain about the gang you were a part of?.

Peter; I hope you're pleased with yourself you incompetent nincompoop ,we did what you were supposed to do and you're questioning me?........we were a gang of saviours , but we know what the media is calling us now , good vigilantes...gah! The gang was formed 2 years ago , we operate in the dark prevent crimes which is supposed to be the job of the police officials......we had one code......no killing and that code can never be broken.....5 months ago Varun came to us , he had completely given up , we helped him get better and he caught the mugger successfully in his first job no less! Then he got bloodthirsty , nabbing the criminals wasn't enough for him , one day he came covered in blood , we asked what had happened , he replied that he had killed 5 assholes......we were beyond furious......he had broken the code.....so we kicked him out of the gang and decided to hand him over to the cops ........he outsmarted all of us......he used smoke bomb to escape......and then we saw him in the news feed 4 weeks later........we rushed there to save him.......to reason with him.......our mistake......my friends were indiscriminately shot.......those bas****s thought that we were involved as well.....I was the only survivor.......and apparently going in for 6 months because I did good to the society by beating up criminals and handing them to the cops? Screw you! And you wanted to know how we know about the crime spots didn't you? You're never going to find out.......and you know what? Maybe I'll go to prison......to meet those security guards and the politician before they're bailed out......

(He left escorted by constables) 

After a while.....

IG ; please sit down Mrs Varun 

 Mrs Varun; I'm not a Mrs anymore and my name is Ketki 

IG ; I'm sorry Ms Ketki

Ketki; Why do you need my statement?

IG; Firstly we're incredibly sorry for your loss......it was partly our fault as well......we just wanted to ask you wether Varun has been in a murderous rage before-

Ketki ; MURDEROUS RAGE? Well who pushed him to it ? People like you couldn't even  stand up to your boss! I can't believe you'd be this incompassionate you've never lost a spouse have you? You wouldn't understand the pain

IG ; Yes I've never lost a spouse , I don't know how it feels to be alone all day in a house that's meant for two, never cooked for both of us when my wife was sick , I  certainly don't know how it feels when you lose them. The first day is the hardest....you'd have a beautiful dream and you wake up to tell your spouse about it and turn your head to the other side of the bed expecting to find them there only to find a vacant spot in the bed ( by now the IG is tearful) , if you've had a good or a bad day and you rush home to tell them to find the house empty.....and all the memories come rushing back in an instant.......(he braces himself) yes I certainly don't know that feeling......now would you please answer my question?

Ketki; (she has a horrified look on her face) Varun never had murderous rage......sometimes he would get angry and break the plates or attack the cushions ripping them in the process but other than that nothing else......

IG ; Thank you , that was all we wanted to know , you may leave
