Part 9 

IG ; sub-inspector Purvi , what happened on the day of February 28 2022?.

Purvi; I was handed this case a week before the day it happened......I managed to track Varun twice......I narrowly missed him both the times.....on the morning of February 28th Varun took the former IG to a dangerous part of the forest and started taping and sent the live feed to a popular news channel......he had the IG tied up and was monolouging about how society was riddled with weeds like the IG  and how he's going to "get rid of this prick from the equation"......we deduced the location and we're in seperate cars trying to get there as fast we can.......Varun was hacking away the limbs of the IG......not with a clean slice but.....he was slicing away bit by bit , making sure that he felt the pain......by the time we reached , the hands and legs were gone , eyes gouged out , blood was splashing and oozing from various places and by that time the IG stopped his horrifying screams and started begging for a quick death and Varun was laughing like he has never before-

IG ( clearly uncomfortable) ; Please tone down the-

Purvi; we reached there with our guns blazing.....warning shots were given......at the same time the good vigilantes gang appeared behind Varun......they were begging him to stop....they told him that he has broken the code multiple times and asked him to surrender .......but he didn't listen.....between  all this chaos......black squard security gaurds of the politicians surrounded the place ( The politician sent then to finish off Varun since he killed his acquaintences) . At this very moment Varun beheaded the IG and the black squad opened fire and riddled Varun's body with bullets and the also shot all the members of the vigilantes gang who did nothing......everyone died on the spot except one survivor who has since recovered.......of course all of this was broadcasted so the public know what had happened and demanded that the black squad members  and the politician to be arrested ......but of course the politician would be released in a while ......and will do a PR stunt which will make the people forget about everything that happened because of him......and the black squad would be released too cause they make more money than us......and the media is currently outside for juicy gossip and here we are taking useless statements-

IG ; sub-inspector-

Purvi; No  allow me sir , I've had enough , I've tired of this system where only the innocent gets to suffer , Varun was one of us , the  vigilantes gang did what we're supposed to do but are held back using brute force agianst those who deserve it......but we punish those who stand up for themselves and others.......I'm done with the system where powerful jerks get away with anything , I quit!.

IG (looking at someone at the far end of the room) ; Stop transcribing that!

(And Purvi noticed something that all the other officials who've given thier statements all this morning had failed to do , a transcriber was sitting next to them quietly entering everything they've told......she smiled at the transcriber and left)
