Part 1; Murder

This story takes place in 2025

CID Bureau (July 17 2025)

Abhijeet and Daya are discussing about an article regarding CID which states that DCP Pradyuman shows favouritism to his officers!! The article states that all the officers who holds high ranks in cid are the ones DCP recruited and are just bumped to the top without any qualifications and the new officers have no shot at becoming higher officials. Daya fumes about this saying that they've been in the same rank for the past 27 years and says that the repoter must've been misinformed and how he likes to correct the informer by beating him up. Daya further states that it was mentioned in the article that DCP sir exhibits nepotism.......Daya mocks the reporter  saying that nepotism isn't even the right word and does not remember the actual word which describes favouring friends/colleagues........Abhijeet says the word must be friend-potism......Daya laughs at this saying that there is no such word as friend-potism........

DCP Pradyuman and ACP Sudhakar arrives at that moment......seeing  Daya laughing DCP sir gives them a quizzical look and asks what's so funny  when he recieves a call.......he attends the call and he turns serious......after hanging up he tells others that it was a call from the HQ reporting a corpse is  found in the beach

Beach

Cid team reaches there and finds a corpse of a male......possibly in his thirties .........covered in  blood.....due to  a stab wound.......DCP sir tells Sudhakar and Asha to take the cadaver  to the forensic lab

Forensic lab  (July 19 2025)

 A couple of days later Sudhakar and Asha visits the forensic lab thinking that Dr Salunke must've figured out something. To Sudhakar's suprise he found Dr Nyanti in the lab in Dr Salunkhe's place

Seeing Dr Nyanti Sudhakar gets a little nervous........Asha asks to Dr Nyanti  about the whereabouts of Salunkhe sir to which Dr Nyanti replies that he has been summoned to the Delhi bureau for a case .......Nyanti sees Sudhakar being nervous and asks him what's wrong to which Sudhakar replies that he never apologized to Dr Nyanti all these years. Dr Nyanti gets confused and asks Sudhakar why he has to apologize to her. Sudhakar replies that it was because of him, DCP sir threatened to shoot Dr Nyanti a long time ago because she wouldn't administer the vaccine to Sudhakar......hearing this Nyanti laughs and says that the incident happened a long time ago and she has forgiven DCP sir already.....Sudhakar says that he knew that but he never got the courage to apologise to her back then ......Dr Nyanti says that it doesn't matter......she says that she had PTSD for a long time but she had lots of therapy sessions to get over it..... now she has buried the hatchet with DCP sir and it wasn't Sudhakar's fault that it happened..........

Asha interjects asking about the corpse .....Dr Nyanti tells them  that it's been 4 days since the person died and she took his fingerprints to check  if he has any criminal records .....and she found a old record of him being a pickpocket.

Sudhakar considers this as a great news and decides to call DCP sir when Nyanti stops him saying that she knows something else as well......she says that there was a nail embedded in the man's forearm (signs of struggle) and she did a DNA crossmatch between the nail and the dead guy and says that they match and the nail belongs to the man's father.........

Sudhakar and Asha are mortified.......

Cid bureau

Abhijeet and DCP sir cannot seem to believe what they're hearing.......the murderer was the father?......Abhijeet tells that the father must be a heartless creature to stab his own son.......Asha signals him to shut up.......Abhijeet realises what he said and looks at DCP sir who looks crestfallen

Abhijeet silently chided himself 'what a foolish thing to say?' He  tries to tell DCP sir that he didn't mean  what he said.....but before he could , DCP Pradyuman leaves abruptly

Sudhakar glares daggers at Abhijeet and instructs him to search the dead man's house ....the father might not be there but they might get a clue regarding where he's hiding 

Abhijeet and Freddy searches the house and does not find any clue regarding the whereabouts of the murderous father.....but finds a photograph of them......

Abhijeet and Freddy reports back to Sudhakar telling that they didn't find anything except a photo of the father and son...... Sudhakar asks him to give this out to all the CI's (confidential informants) to search for the man 

Sudhakar told everyone that he'll go to DCP Sirs house that night to inform him about the recent developments.......Abhijeet and Asha tells Sudhakar that they'll come as well...... Sudhakar is against Abhijeet going to DCP's house given the recent events.......but Abhijeet remains stubborn and Sudhakar agrees but decides to bring Daya along as well if things get heated ........knowing Abhijeet  things will get heated.........

DCP Sirs house 

DCP sir is silently reflecting on Abhijeet's words.....he knew that Abhijeet wasn't talking about him but .......the case hit too close to home.......Pradyuman hadn't thought about his son in a long time .......he thought to himself that maybe he is a heartless monster , because the father only stabbed his son once....but he had shot his son 6 times

Just then his doorbell rang and DCP went to answer it .......he saw Sudhakar , Daya, Asha and Abhijeet waiting outside . DCP greets them inside the house...... Sudhakar updates DCP sir about thier findings while Abhijeet was thinking of a way to apologize to DCP sir..........

Outside DCP sir's house

While all this was happening a strange man entered the house from the back and poured a wierd looking liquid inside the AC duct 

DCP sir's house 

Abhijeet was in the middle of apologizing to DCP sir when he suddenly felt dizzy........ everything was spinning and his eyelids got heavy  .  He looked around and saw that everyone were collapsing ......before he could do anything Abhijeet  fell flat  on the floor........
