Chapter 1

Wrote this in one go as the idea came in.  Do share your opinions about the same

P.S. The last part written specially for @HeytzMaaneet and @RishiGirl, you'll know why :P

                                                                       Darr

Riddhima has already brought Vihaan as Vansh in the mansion. As per their plan they acted to have accepted Kabir as a part of the family for now and sent him for a business trip abroad so that they have some time in their hands to plan for the game ahead.

It was late evening when Vansh entered the mansion and found Anupriya roaming around tensed. He asked her about the matter and she said

“Kabir calls receive nahi kar raha and bas messages bheje wo bhi 2-3 jabse gaya hai, mujhe kuch theek nahi lag raha”

“Relax mom, mujhe update mila ki usne meetings attend ki hain, he’s fine, time nahi mila hoga call karne ka and network issues bhi hote hain,” he said and left.

He entered his room and found Riddhima sitting on the bed facing the other side.

He said in this flirtatious tone “How was the day Ms prettyRaiSinghania?”

“Mrs Vansh Rai Singhania for you, mera din theek tha. Tumpe kisi ko shak toh nahi hua office mein?” she asked

“Naah, itni achi training jo mili hai mujhe. Angre bhi saath tha, baaki sab usne sambhal liya, now I know tumne use kyun include kiya tha iss plan mein” he said with a smile

“Maine tumhe ghoorne ke liye mana kiya tha but that doesn’t mean tum dekho bhi na meri taraf madam” he said

Riddhima turned to face him while sitting on the bed. She looked pale and tired.

“Are you okay Riddhima? You don’t look fine” he said

“I’ll be fine, bas thoda acha nahi lag raha ” she said

He went near her and touched her forehead to find that she was running high temperature. He immediately called out for Angre and asked him to call the doctor. 

The doctor entered and examined her and said “Nothing serious, I’ll just give an injection and she has to take rest for the next 24 hours, kaafi exhausted hain ye”

Riddhima’s eyes widened looking at the injection in the doctor’s hands. She remembered how last time it was Vansh who had used his tactics and given her the tetanus shot. She closed her eyes and remembered how he hugged her from behind shocking her and sending chills down her body. She remembered the time when he had unknowingly given her the strength to cross a room full of burning coal and the numerous times he had saved her life whether from drowning in the pool or from getting burnt with the Ravana. He was always there to protect her and even today his memories and words are there to give her the strength to handle the current situation. She did feel his presence but maybe that was just an illusion. Her thoughts were broken by the doctor's voice.

“Done ” said the doctor and left instructing Vihaan to make sure she takes her medicines and proper rest.

“Wow” exclaimed Vihaan

“What?” asked Riddhima

“Mujhe toh laga tha tum unn logon mein se hogi jinhe injection ki needle dekhte hi darr lagta hoga but tumne toh bina koi reaction diye injection lagwa liye. Impressive” he said

She gave a faint smile and said-

“Sahi pehchana tumne, tha ek time jab darr lagta tha injection but you know what Vihaan, 

Jab dil ka sabse bada darr haqeeqat mein badal jaaye toh yeh chote mote darr handle karne ki taaqat apne aap aa jati hai ”  she said with a hint of tears in her eyes.

“Waise ye Kabir koi gadbad toh nahi kar raha wahan? Uske aane se pehle sab plan karna hai” she enquired

“Don’t worry, kuch nahi kar raha wo, routine kaam kar raha hai Angre ne bataya, so you don’t stress about it, chalo ab so jao, you need to take rest, baaki sab baatein baad mein” he said

“Aur waise bhi khudka hi system weak hoga toh uss Kabir naam ke virus ka saamna kaise karogi”

“Am I right or Am I right?” he smirked

She rolled her eyes and said “Tum bhi so jao, Good night”

“Goodnight Riddhima” he said

She dozed off like every night clutching on to the heart shaped pillow that Vansh had gifted her and his white and black scarf which was the only thing she could get hold off while watching him fall from that cliff.

He looked at her lovingly and thought that his cute little wife whom he used to protect had now become a much more stronger woman trying to protect this family from the two demons Anupriya and Kabir. Yes she had deceived him too but again she was just a pawn who was misled, whatever it is, is between both of them. They’ll sort it out eventually but first the enemy needs to be defeated.

He got a call an went outside to attend it

“Boss, kitne din aur isse yahan rakhna hai” said someone from the other side

“Kuch din aur, and jo kaha tha wahi kar rahe ho na?” Vansh asked

“Haan time to time electric shocks de rahe hain” the man said 

“Good” said Vansh , he heard someone scream in pain and cut the call.

Before leaving India, Kabir was kidnapped and kept in a small dark room where he was paying for daring to mess with Mrs Vansh Rai Singhania, how dare he torture her to an extent of giving her an electric shock and even manhandle her. This was just the beginning of his downfall.

“Kaha tha na Kabir, don’t you dare but you didn’t listen, ab pata chalega ki darr aur darana kise kehte hain” he thought and went inside the room.

He saw Riddhima sleeping. She looked angelic. It seemed as if she is sleeping peacefully after so many days. He went near her and gave a quick peck on the forehead making sure she doesn’t wake up and went off to sleep.
