Chapter 5

Part 4- Kuch Kuch Hota Hai

Shiva had woken up first and was in awe. She looked so beautiful. Moreover, she looked so content in his arms. He got up and freshened up. He also made some coffee for both them. 

She woke up suddenly uncomfortable as she felt she lost warmth. Shiva smiled at her and placed her coffee beside her. She looked at the coffee and then at him. He sat beside her sipping his coffee. Her eyes went wet and she quickly started sipping her coffee. Once done, she went for a shower while Shiva cleared the cups.

Shiva was super happy. These days were the most beautiful days of his life. Yesterday’s almost kiss had given him a boost that she felt for him as strongly as he did. If not love, she did like him and now he was going to have fun he giggled. 

Raavi was lost. The warm water unable to calm her down. Who knew Shiva was this sweet and gentle. How could she miss this catch? She blushed as she remembered their almost kiss. Shiva definitely had feelings for her if not exactly love. She’s going to make him say out loud she decided. She couldn’t wait to start fresh with him. If his one touch made feel this, she was unable to image how it would be when they would take THE step in their marriage she blushed.

Shiva was heating the snacks he ordered last night. 

“Oh those snacks.” She gritted her teeth

“Raavi tu aa gai?”

“Haa” she stood too close behind him brushing her front with his back and then slowly coming to his side to see his reaction.

He closed his eyes to slow down his racing heart and got back to work again. 

“Kya self control hai!” Raavi huffed 

“Kuch kaha?”

“Nai. Mai kar deti hoon.” She took the snacks from him.

“Acha sun” he whispered in her ear as he stepped back and placed both his hands on the counter caging her, brushing his front to her back.

Raavi shut her eyes. How the hell did he always get the upper hand when he wasn’t supposed to she wondered. 

“Bol” she managed to speak

“Jo khud se handle na ho, vo dusro pe try nai karna chaiye.”

“Kya!” She panicked and turned 

“Wahi jo tune suna.” He nuzzled her nape making her shut her eyes in anticipation. 

“Shivaaaa”

“Chal tyaar ho jana beach jayenge aaj.” He whispered in her ear huskily and pulled back with a smirk on his face.

“Tu…”

“Mai vo hoon jo teri bolti bandh kar sakta hai. Teri takkar.” He smirked and walked out of the room for his last meeting for the trip.

Raavi stood there stunned. Where she had thought she will make him confess, here he was making her go crazy!

When Shiva came back, he found her still in the bed.

“Aye Raavi ghumne nai jana? Phir bolegi- Shiva  ne kahi ghumaya nai.” He mimicked her

“Nai kahungi Shiva.” She said in a weak voice 

“Kya hua Raavi?”

“After effects hai period ki. Khatam toh ho gaye par kuch din se zyada exert kar diya toh bahut uneasy lag rha hai. Kya hum kal jaa sakte hai beach?”

“Haa Raavi. Tere liye hot water bag mangata hoon.”

“Nai Shiva bas tu aa mere paas baith.”

Shiva went and sat with her on the bed. She shifted herself on his lap making herself comfortable. 

“Ab mere sar pe haath ghuma.”

Shiva did as he was told. Raavi was content with the attention she was getting. She already  felt so much better just looking at him. 

“Shiva, tu mere liye itna sab kyu kar rha hai?” 

“Tune mujse ye 5 din kyun mange hai, Raavi?”

“Pehle maine sawal kiya tha.”

“Jawab dono ke same haina par.”

“Kuch Kuch Hota Hai”

“Kya?” Shiva looked at her stunned

“Aaj ki movie! Bhul gaya?” She teased

“Aaj ki movie ya tere hormones ka haal aaj pata chal hi jayega.” He smirked 

“Bada aaya mere hormones ka haal jane wala.”

“Kyu? Kal raat se kuch galat samja hai maine?” He whispered as he made circles on her waist 

“Kya kar rha hai Shiva?” 

“Kyu? Control nai ho rha?” He teased

She got up in a second, attacked him violently and she ended up falling on him again.

“Ye acha tareeka hai meri god se seedha mere upar.”

“Koi problem hai?” 

“Muje toh nai hai. Tu apna bata.” He pulled her closer from her waist making her fall on him completely 

“Itni aasani se tere haath nai aani” she giggled and got up

She pulled him up, cuddled into him switching on the tv and pressing her stomach with her other hand to ease the pain.

Shiva removed her hand and lightly pressed her stomach to make her feel better. She smiled and stuck to him like a chipkali. 

“Kuch Kuch Hota Hai aa rai hai dekh.” Shiva laughed

“Chal dekhte hai.”

“Oh god! Bachpan mein tuje Rahul chaiye tha! Muje samaj nai aata aacha khasa Aman mil rha tha, divorcee se pat gai.” Shiva cribbed

“Iska ek scene karna hai dekh le.” She laughed and ordered some popcorns 

“RAHUL ANJALI KA JAGDA” the film played

“Abhi lagi na hamari type ki story- SHIVA RAAVI KA JAGDA!” Shiva mimicked the movie 

“Waise jhagde se aage badh sakte hai.” She winked at him catching him off guard 

She laughed at his reaction while he pulled her even more closer.

“Kya karna hai thoda detail mein bata de. Ye 5 din tere hai. Kya pata mai teri ye khawaish bhi puri kardoon.” He fanned her face 

Seeing her blush and speechless, he got back to the movie with a smirk.

“OMG OMG OMGGGG RAHUL ANJALI MIL GAYE!” Raavi clapped as Rahul finally met Anjali after 8 yrs

“Hazaar baar dekhi hai ye picture tune. Phir bhi same enthusiasm kehna padega.” Shiva mumbled without a reaction

“Kuch Kuch Hota Hai Shiva tu nai samjega” she giggled while Shiva just rolled his eyes 

Raavi cried as the movie reached its climax. Rahul confessed his love to Anjali on her wedding day and saw her walking down towards another man. Rahul and Anjali were inconsolable. Aman stood there watching.

“Tu kyu ro rai hai? Anjali Rahul ko hi toh milne wali hai. Muje pata hai tu team Rahul hai.” Shiva spoke munching popcorns 

“Tu kuch nai samajta. Dekh Anjali aur Rahul kaise tadap rahe hai.”

“Thodi der mein khush hoke Aman ko tadpayenge. Muje toh Aman ke liye bura lagta hai.” He spoke genuinely only to earn a glare from Raavi

He realised he should shut up. Aman become the nice man and Rahul Anjali got married. Raavi squealed in delight. She hugged Shiva to show her happiness as if Rahul Anjali were some people she personally knew.

“Omggg this is the best movie everrrr”

“Sure. It is. Ab kaisa lag rha hai?”

“Bahut acha. Omg baarish ho rai hai.” She was super happy 

“Perfect” 

“Kya?”

“Kuch nai ab toh tu theek hai na? Toh mai kuch laaya tha subah tere liye. Socha tha Somnath mein dunga par ye perfect time hai.”

“Peheliyan mat bhuja aur bata”

He pulled out a red saree from the suitcase and put it on the bed. 

“Ye pehen le mai aata hoon.” He went out of the room

Raavi moved towards the bed and took the saree in her hand and squealed in joy.

“Kya mai soch rai hoon vo sahi hai? Kya sach mein Shiva….OMGGGG” she jumped up and down with the saree in her hand.

She quickly got ready wearing the saree and hoped to find matching earrings. She heard the door bell and rushed to open the door. She saw Shiva and she had bright smile. Shiva knew she might have guessed it but he didn’t care. All that mattered was that she was happy. She closed the door as he entered and the pallu slid down. She immediately caught hold of it and tried pinning it. She kept on hurting herself in the process. Shiva came to her and caught hold of the pallu and pinned it properly. 

“Waise teri filmo ke hisaab se tere blouse ki strings nai bandni chaiye thi par tu apne loopholes dundh hi leti hai.” He smirked

“Tu kehna chata hai maine jaan muchke kiya?”

“Nai. Bas ho jata hai. Hamari kismat hi aisi hai. Filmy.” He went to the washroom to change.

Shiva came out wearing the black shirt he had worn during borne-fire. Raavi was impressed. He looked super handsome. 

They moved out of the room and Shiva guided her to the terrace. She saw a table for two there with candle lights. She hugged him right there and went and sat on the chair. The food was pre ordered and they had their dinner on the terrace with the view of beautiful rains. 

Raavi was done with food long back whereas Shiva was still having. Raavi kept on looking at the rains. She loved rains. It was super romantic but her husband was busy with food. 

“Shiva, hua ki nai tera?” She cribbed anticipating more from him

He knew what she was thinking and smirked. 

“Thoda intezaar karle. Itni bhi kya besabri” 

She huffed and saw him eat. She ordered some desert and they shared it. They silently looked at the rains for a while enjoying the weather when waiter came in and put a speaker there.

He held her hand in his and pulled her to the other side of the terrace which was uncovered. They had gotten wet in the rains a lot of times together since childhood but this was absolutely different. She looked like a goddess.  

He went down on his knees and asked for a dance. She looked around finding no sound coming from anywhere.

That’s when the music started playing. She knew this was coming but suddenly she was so overwhelmed. 

He gave her his hand and she took it. They danced in a flow together smiling at each other. He pulled her further close from her bare waist sending shivers down her spine. He twirled her and she bent backwards striking an intimate pose. He kissed her neck and she closed her eyes unable to handle the butterflies in her stomach. He pulled her up again and she tried to walk away slightly shy. He caught her hands and pulled her back to him gently touching her back to his front. He slid her hair and put it on her side. He nuzzled her nape and moved his finger from her neck to her shoulder. She gasped at his intimate touches and held his hand tightly. He smiled and turned her pulling her closer to himself. She tried to turn and look the other way but Shiva had already caught the end of her pallu. She looked back at him innocently and he left her pallu letting her decide next.

She ran back to him hugging him tightly. He smiled and hugged her back. 

He pulled back to see her blushing profusely. He smiled and let her have her space in their relationship. 

He held her hand and started jumping in the small puddles caused by heavy rains like they used to as kids. She laughed as she remembered young Shiva splashing dirty water on her as he was doing now. She too joined him and started splashing dirty water on him. As her saree got too dirty, she ran behind him to equally spoil his clothes while Shiva ran ahead trying to save his new black shirt.
