Chapter 13

Hello taareyians.... here's the next chapter.

Rey enters her room but taani was lost in her own thoughts.

Rey - hey.... (he brings her back to reality)
Taani - tum!!! When did u come?
Rey - jab tum khudse baat kar rahi thi.
Taani - Oh...
Rey - kya hua? Kya baat hai?
Taani - nae. It's nthng. U carry on with ur work. Don't bother...
Rey - are baba.... tell me. May be I would do something for u.
Taani - umm... mai tumhe kaisi lagti hu?
Rey - matlb?
Taani - are.... just look at me na. Mujhe dekh k ya mere face ko dekh k tumhe kaisa lagta hai? Mai kaisi lagti hu?
Rey - hmm... tum bahot sweet ho... caring ho... jhalli ho... tomboy ho...
Taani - dekha.... u also think I'm a tomboy. Jab k the truth is I'm the way I'm. Uff!!! Kya karu mai.
Rey - kya karna hai tumhe?

Taani explains him what ever happened n whatever she heard from the students.

Rey - Oo... to prblm ye hai.
Taani - hmm.
Rey - come with me.
Taani - are... kaha?

That's when her phn rings.

Taani - ha simba bol.
Shivam - bunty... tujhe malum pada... kal couple entry karna hai party me.
Taani - what!!! Sali 1 prblm solve nahi hui dusri prblm pehle hi aagayi.
Shivam - q, kya hua?
Taani - nthng dude. Ye bata tu kis k sath entry kar raha hai.
Shivam - of course... u.
Taani - nahi. Tu sneha k sath entry kariyo.
Shivam - to fir tere sath kaun entry karega.
Taani - mai kuch jugad kar lungi.
Shivam - cool. C u tomorrow.
Taani - yeah.

She throws her phn on bed.

Taani - bus ab isiki kami thi.
Rey - kya hua?
Taani - kal couple entry karna hai.
Rey - so... what's the matter. Pura college to tumhara friend hai, kisi k sath chale jana.
Taani - kya lagta hai tumhe.... koi bhi mujh jaise tomboy k sath qq entry karega.
Rey - hmm. Ye prblm hum baad me solve karte hai... pehle chlo mere sath.
Taani - but kaha?
Rey - aree... come na.
Taani - Okkkk

He takes her to a place where taani hadn't stepped in her life before.

Taani - what is this place?
Rey - ye meri friend ka parlour hai.
Taani - hum parlour qq aaye hai ab? Tumhe b mani n pedi karwana hai kya?
Rey - 1 min.

He calls her friend n explains her to what to do with taani.

She grabs her wrist n drags inside the parlour.

Taani - ye mujhe kaha le ja rahi hai? Oye, hath chhod mera...
Rey - taani, don't worry. Wo tumhari help kar rahi hai.
Taani - kaisi help?
Rey - u go first.

She goes inside n screams on top of her voice.

After few hours rey goes inside as his friend said that she is ready. While taani was blindfolded.

He goes inside.

Taani - ab agar tum logo ne mera blindfold nahi khola na... to maa kasam sabki maa-behen 1 kr dungi.
Rey - hey kiddo... chill. It's me.
Taani - haash. Thank God u came. Pata nahi ye log kya kar rahe hai mere sath. Kabhi hath pakad rahe hai kabhi pair.
Rey - wait... a... min.

He takes her in front of a mirror n frees her from the blindfold.

She opens her eyes n what she could see was a new taani. She was shocked to see herself like this. She touched her face, her eyes, her lips, her cheeks... her hands... they weren't hard anymore.

Taani - is that me.... ha sir... kya ye mai hu?

He placed his hands on her shoulder n showing herself off.

Rey - that's my taani. So beautiful... so innocent.... her hazel eyes... her tomato like red cheeks... her eye-lashes... her rozy lips.
Taani - mai kitni beautiful lag rahi hu na.
Rey - taani.. u know. Is world me jo b god-gifted hai na wo sab beautiful hai. Tum bhi... bus thode  touch up ki zarurt thi. N now look... no marks n bruises... a soft milky skin.
Taani - but.... ye sirf 1 hi din k liye. Beautiful cheeze delicate bhi hoti hai... but mai delicate nahi hu... n na banna chahti hu.
Rey - I know... tum apne hi andaz me perfect ho. But kabhi kabhi logo ka mu bnd karne k liye dikhana pdta hai the real u.
Taani - hmm.
Rey - now let's go shopping.
Taani - shopping?
Rey - come.

They go to a shopping mall.

Taani - hum yaha qq aaye hai.
Rey - tumhare liye ladkiyo jaise kapde kharidne k liye.
Taani - come on. I can't afford those.
Rey - chill. Jab paise aaenge mujhe lauta dena.
Taani - hmm.

They go to a shop to buy a saree or a traditional attire for her.

Rey - saree pehenne aata hai?
Taani - mai to dupatta sambhal lu wahi badi baat hai.
Rey - hmm.

He goes n chooses some lehenga n saree-gowns for her.

Rey - go n try these.
Taani - ye sab.
Rey - ha. Now go....
Taani - ok...

She makes a helpless face n rushes to the trial room.

She tries all the clothes chose by Rey but nthng looks good. At last she wears a saree gown which looks beautiful on her.

Rey - perfect.
Taani - ye pakka done na.
Rey - yes.
Taani - haash. Ab ghr chale.
Rey - nahi.
Taani - Ab kya hua?
Rey - footwear.

He drags her to a footwear shop n choses some heels for her.

Rey - Taani, ye try karo. Dekho fit ho raha hai kya?
Taani - hmm.

She takes it n it fits her.

Rey - good. Ye tumhare dress pe suit b karega. Now jewellery.
Taani - jewellery. Come on... mai thak chuki hu ab.
Rey - jhagda karne me to kabhi nahi thakti.

Taani rolls her eyes hearing that.

He buys some ear-rings, bracelets n rings for her.

While maya comes in their way. She was there in the mall for her shopping.

Maya - Rey!!!
Rey - Oh maya.. Hii.. tum yaha?
Maya - just usual shopping. Tum yaha kya kar rahe ho?
Rey - mai b yaha Taani k liye shopping karne aaya hu.
Maya - taani... that cafe girl.

She comes forward.

Taani - ab hum chale ya fir mera dimag kharab karne ka plan hai tumhara. U can talk to u friend later.
Maya - friend? I'm his girlfriend.

Rey starts coughing.

Taani - kya sir tere boyfriend hai?
Maya - what's the difference. Abi kaha na maine I'm his girlfriend.
Taani - tera unki girlfriend hone me n unka tere boyfriend hone me zameen asmaan ka frkh hai.

She starts thinking about the difference.

Taani - don't use ur brain. Already tum ameer baap ki bigdi hui aulado k pass paise zyada hote hai n dimag km. He already understood... didn't u?

She asked rey. While rey smiled n noded.

Taani - tum bags le k aajana. M leaving first.

He carries all the bags n rushes after her without bidding bye to Maya.

Rey - chalo, bahot late hogaya hai. Dinner bahar hi karte hai.
Taani - hmm.

He goes with her in a lavish restaurant.

Taani - ye restaurant kuch zyada hi bada nahi hai?
Rey - ye 1 of my favourite restaurants hai.

Taani nods n takes her seat. While she goes through the menu n gets shocked looking at the prices of dishes.

Taani - itna mehenga. Itne me to mere ghr ka 1 mahine ka rashan aajayega. Yaha to sala pani b mehenga hoga. Mujhe yaha khana nahi khana.
Rey - but ab to hum yaha aa chuke hai.
Taani - ha to tum khalo... mai chalti hu. Mai apne dil pe patthar rakh lungi to bhi yaha ka khana mere gale k neeche nahi utrega.
Rey - hmm. To fir kaha jaaye.
Taani - tumne apna fav restaurant dikha diya. Ab tum mere fav thele pe chalo. World ka best khana nahi khaya to naam badal dungi apna.
Rey - Oh... agar aisi baat hai... to chalo.

They leave the restaurant n reach a thela where taani usually had her food.

Taani - are chacha... kaise ho?
Cha - 1 dm thik bitiya. Bade dino baad aayi tum?
Taani - are kuch nahi. Kaam me busy thi....
Cha - to aj kya lagau tumhare liye?
Taani - aj.... 2 masala dosa, us k baad pav bhaji laga dena.... fir 1 chhola bhatura aur last me 2 lassi.
Rey - itna sab!!!
Taani - are.... Sir, chacha k hath ka khana kha k to dekho, sab apne aap andar chala jayega.
Cha - abhi laya taani bitiya.

After a while he brings dosa, then pav bhaji then chhola bhatura n lastly the lassi.

Rey - baap re!!! Bahot zyada kha liya aj to.
Taani - maza aaya?
Rey - Bahot!!!
Taani - tumhare us restaurant se achha laga ya nahi.
Rey - it was awesome.
Taani - kaha tha na maine...

Taani pays the bill n leaves for their place.

While they reach she calls vishesh.

Vishesh - hello, kaun hai itni raat ko?
Taani - oye jhandu, taani bol rahi hu.

He wakes up with a jerk.

Vishesh - taani!!! Aap itni raat ko. Kya baat hai?
Taani - tu diwali party me kis k sath entry kar raha hai.
Vishesh - mai kis k sath jaunga. Koi mere sath jana hi nahi chahta. Isliye as a GS entry karne wala hu. GS, AS,  CS n ACS single entry kar sakte hai na isliye.
Taani - mere sath entry karega?
Vishesh - what!!! Aap mazak to nahi kar rahi ho na. Kya aap sach me mere sath as a couple entry karna chahti ho.
Taani - ha.
Vishesh - wow!!! Thank u thank u thank u so much.
Taani - kal milte hai.
Vishesh - thik hai. To kal mai 6 baje aapko pick karne aajaunga.
Taani - thik hai. Mai tujhe address msg kr dungi.
Vishesh - OK. Gud night.
Taani - hmm.

Saying so she disconnects the call.

Taani - chalo, entry ka jugad to hogaya.
Rey - hmm.

Next day.

Taani - ye heel le to li, but chalungi kaise?

Rey enters her room.

Rey - practice kar k.
Taani - U?
Rey - ha wo breakfast k liye bulane aaya tha... but lagta hai usse b zyada imp kaam karna baki hai.

Taani makes a sad face.

Rey - come.

He makes her wear the heels... n makes her stand.

Taani - ye 3 mahle ki heel lena zaruri tha kya?
Rey - ha. Now walk.

He is in front of her n have held her hands. N makes her walk. After 2-3 hours of practice she is able to atleast walk on those heels.

Taani - yay!!! Mujhe chalna aagaya... mujhe chalna aagaya.

N in excitement she hugs Rey n Rey hugs her back. But soon they realise their position n they separate from each other.

By afternoon taani has her bath.

Rey - OK... to sabse pehle tumhara makeup karte hai.
Taani - lekin mujhe to makeup karna aata hi nahi.
Rey - mai karunga tumhara makeup.
Taani - what!!! Tumhe aata hai makeup karna.
Rey - hmm. 1 mnth America reh gaya tha beauticians k beech. Humari company beauty products b manufacture karti hai na.... isliye. Aur tabhi ye makeup karna seekha tha... n aj kaam aagaya.
Taani - matlb tumne kabhi kisi ka makeup nahi kiya? Mai tumhare experiment karne wali chuha hu kya?
Rey - thodi der mu bnd rakhengi aap...
Taani - hmm.

She sits on the dressing table while Rey is doing her makeup. Rey's face is just a few cm far from her. She can feel her breathe n gets lost in her own thoughts.

Rey - taani.... taani...
Taani - huh... ha... kya.... kya hua?
Rey - kaha kho gayi. Makeup ho gaya hai. Ja ke change kar ke aao.
Taani - hmm.

She gets changed in her new dress... while Rey gets mesmerised looking at her.

Rey - beautiful!!!

Taani was too excited as she was wearing such a beautiful dress for the 1st time n also she wanted to see the reaction of college students.

Taani - kaisi lag rahi hu mai?

But he was too lost in her. So taani shooks him.

Taani - kaha kho gaye? Bolo na kaisi lag rahi hu....
Rey - wo... um sorry. Tum kuch zyada hi achhi lag rahi ho.

Taani 1st time blushes hearing that. Rey takes kohl n marks a dot at the back of her ear.

Taani - ye qq?
Rey - kisi ka nazar na lag jaye.
Taani - mai itni achhi lag rahi hu?

Rey nods. N unknowingly kisses her forehead. By this taani's cheeks turn red n her face starts heating up.

Taani thinks - ye mera face itna garam qq ho raha hai?

Rey - come.

He makes her were her ear-rings n bracelet n makes her sit on the bed. N helps her wearing her heels.

Taani - aren't u getting ready?
Rey - u go first. Mai 1 ghante baad aaunga.
Taani - hmm.

While vishesh calls her.

Taani - ha aa rahi hu.

She disconnects the call on leaves.
