Chapter - 21

One week passed by. Roli had completely forgotten about that incident. All thanks to sid, who tried his best in keeping her busy with their usual bickering. 

Nothing much had changed, either. Roli and sid continued to fight with the stupidest reasons possible. In these few days, Sid's heart completely owned by roli, though, not even once had he mentioned it to her. 

He had always proved his love through his actions rather than saying some random cheesy lines. And that's how he was - Man of actions. 

As their exams were nearing, they had to go to college the day before their exams had started. 

Roli once again fell in to daze as she looked at the campus. Sid, who just parked his car, reached her. 

As if reading her mind, he accompanied her up to her class. When she stepped in to her class, she looked at the few students who were there in the class. She felt anxious as she thought they might say such words about her again. 

But, to her surprise, they didn't react much and behaved as usual. Her bench mate waved at her with a smile. It seemed like nothing had ever happened. Only if she had witnessed the terrible scene of sid hitting on mukesh and naina, would she understood why everyone was behaving normal. As they couldn't forget Sid's warning on that day, especially when they saw sid right behind her. 

Roli slowly walked in and occupied her place. After making sure she was fine, sid left the place. 

None in the class or the other students had brought up the incident while talking to roli. That made roli relieved and a bit happy too. 

The following days went fast as they were busy in preparing for their semester exams. Roli and sid didn't get much time for each other. The only time they would be together was while going to and coming from the college. Rest of the time, roli would be in her room studying. While sid would be with his friends in the name of combined studies. 

The day before their last exam. After dinner, roli sat on her bed with her books on her lap. She flipped over few pages as she thought about sid. She hadn't seen him the entire day. As it was Sunday, they didn't have exam. Sid went out in morning and hadn't returned yet. 

At the moment, she was missing him more than anything. In a while, she heard bike horn sound from down. She rushed to her room window and found sid parking his bike. She thought something as she took a book and went in to his room. 

"What are you doing here?" Sid was surprised to be welcomed by roli in his room. 

"I got a doubt while studying so.. thought to take your help" roli felt excited to see him after a few hours of gap. 

"You want my help?" He looked surprised as he tossed his bike keys on to the drawer next to his bed. 

"Yeah. You've already cleared this subject. So, you should know" roli said and sat on the bed. 

Roli randomly opened a page and placed the book on bed "here" she pointed at one topic. 

Sid took out his phone from his pant pocket and placed it next to his pillow as he took her book. 

"This one" sid pointed and asked for confirmation. Roli nodded even without looking at the book. She didn't have any doubt, in fact, she was prepared with full syllabus for the exam. All she wanted was to spend some time with sid. 

Sid leaned back on to the headrest of the bed as he glared at her. She looked at him with a puppy face like 'what happened'. 

"The girl who had been a top graduate of the university and who cleared the entrance test at the top business school of US is having doubt in the basic topic of accounts" sid continued to glare at her. 

"How did you know all these?" Roli was stunned at what she heard from him. 

"I know everything" he replied as he closed the book. 

"Go to sleep" sid said and passed the book to her. Roli looked at him without saying anything. 

"What roli?" Sid felt her strong gaze as if it contained something precious. 

"I'm missing you" sid melted at her cute yet sincere words. He looked straight into her eyes for a while.

He then wide opened his arms as if he was calling her. She quickly fell on to his chest as he wrapped his hands around her. 

"I'm missing you, too" sid kissed her hairs and hugged her tightly. 

"Roli.." roli startled at Sid's loud voice. She looked at him confused. 

"You said you're missing me but, where you get lost suddenly. I've called you like more than ten times" sid said, making her to come back to the real world. 

Roli alerted herself and looked around. It was a dream, she felt like hitting her head to a wall. She was missing him to the extent that she had started fantasising about him. 

"Roli" sid again called her as he found her lost in her thoughts again. 

"I'm missing you" roli repeated again but, this time it was for real. Reminding herself not to dream anything. 

Sid pulled her towards him, making her to jerk a little. She looked at him surprised. She thought she was dreaming again. But, no. It wasn't. She felt his heart beat against her chest and it didn't seem like a dream, though it felt like one. 

Sid moved near her face "I'm missing.." he paused as he looked into her eyes. She wondered thinking if her dream was coming true. 

But, his next words confirmed that she was wrong. "...My sleep".

"I'm missing my sleep" sid completed, still looking into her eyes. 

Roli gained her senses back and quickly got up from his chest as she pushed him away. 

"You wanted me to do something else or what?" Looking at her upset face, Sid asked calmly as he again leaned back to the headrest, trying his best not to laugh at the silly expression on her face. 

She took a pillow and hit him. Sid held her hand, defending himself as he asked "what you were dreaming a while back?". 

Roli stopped hitting him after hearing his question. "Nothing" she said, taking her book and rushed out of the room. 

Sid broke into laughter after she left.
