Chapter - 22

"If you get missed in this crowd, I'm not gonna search for you. So, better be with me and don't wander around blindly" sid warned as he turned to look at roli, who was standing next to him.

Rolling her eyes, roli looked around. It was indeed much more crowded than usual. As their exams got over and they were having a few days of holidays, sujata wanted to held a pooja at home, for the preparation of which, roli and sid had to come for shopping. 

Sid held roli's hand in his and started moving towards a shop. 

"I'm not a kid" Upon being dragged by sid holding her hand, roli said bluntly. 

"Oh, really? Then why don't you tell that when everybody pampers you at home" sid mocked at her as he continued to walk holding her. 

In response of his taunt, she could only just hit his shoulder and followed him.  

After buying the items listed by sujata, they both went into a showroom to buy a dress for roli. 

Roli kept on checking different collections and designs, making sid annoyed. 

"It's more than 30 minutes and you've not selected a single dress" sid got up from the chair he was sitting all the while. 

"Is this good?" Roli showed a lehanga, ignoring his words. 

"Pack this" sid grabbed the lehanga she was holding and passed it to the shopkeeper. 

"I'm not done with selection" roli turned to the counter and started looking for dresses. 

"We are done" sid again dragged her to the bill counter. 

And finally roli had to buy the one sid selected or rather picked out randomly. 

- Next day - 

The whole bharadwaj house was decorated neatly with flowers. 

Sid wasn't interested in dressing up much, so he just picked up a light blue color shirt pairing with a black jeans. Though he didn't dress up, he still looked dashing. 

He came out of his room and started walking towards the stairs.

"Aahhh.." while passing through roli's room, he heard her shouting. He quickly rushed into her room to check if she was fine. 

"What happened?" He inquired as soon as he entered into her room. Roli found him as a Savior at the moment and swiftly hugged him in fear. 

"Roli, what happened?" He again asked worriedly as he hugged her back. 

Without lifting her head from his embrace, roli pointed her index finger at a corner of her room. Sid followed her direction and found the thing she was pointing at. 

Sid pulled her away from him and looked at her as he said in shock "cockroach?". 

Roli nodded as yes like a scary little kid. 

"And you shouted as if the sky is falling down on your head" sid was pissed off at her silly fear. 

"You go and thrown it out" roli pushed him forward and stood behind him. 

"Me.." "go.." before sid could say anything, roli again pushed him. 

"Oh god" sid felt annoyed but still went near to the cockroach and caught it. 

"There.. throw it out" roli pointed at window and said. 

But, sid turned to her with a smirk and said "let's make a deal". 

"Deal?" She looked at him confused. 

"From now on, you've to listen to me and obey my words like a good girl" sid said, surprising her. 

"Why should I listen to you?" Roli tried to deny. 

"Cause if not then I'll throw this cockroach at you" sid threatened showing the cockroach in his hands, which obviously scared roli. 

Roli was stuck now. "So, will you agree for the deal?" Sid asked, finding her silent. For which, roli just shook her head.

"Say it out loud" sid ordered arrogantly. 

Roli glared at him like an angry kid and said while gritting her teeth "I'll listen to whatever you say". 

"That's good. If you back down from your words then I'm gonna fill your whole room with cockroaches" sid warned and thrown the cockroach out  of the window. 

Roli sighed in relief keeping her hands either sides of her waist. She felt relieved as the cockroach was finally out of her room. 

Sid, who just turned around after throwing it out, got surprised as he looked at roli.
